** #116 Roasting Saints 21 and Alma 3 ** :: Waffle of Mormon :: As Joseph Smith loses his focus repeatedly in Alma 3, and the scribe rolls his eyes and continues to write - THINK CELESTIAL. When Joseph Smith introduces racist doctrine, and then incase anyone might explain it away continues to reiterate - THINK CELESTIAL. When Joseph Smith makes up a stupid new word like "Ishmaelitish", or goes infantile and literally calls people "good" or "bad" - THINK CELESTIAL. When false-prophet Rusty gets even rustier because all the speakers at General Conference keep sucking his metaphorical and unprophetic phallus - THINK CELESTIAL. When you thought you were finally out of that unhealthy Masonic underwear, and the heavies at General Conference tell you to put them back on, and to waste your time alive doing nothing in a temple - SAY "NO", AND THINK YOUR OWN THOUGHTS. When Joseph Smith tries to tell you that Communism is God's will, follow Oliver Cowdry's example and RESIGN FROM THE CHURCH. #Reasons to stay home this Sunday# - https://bookofboredom.com/reasons/ #Join the Blasphemy# - https://facebook.com/groups/BookOfBoredom #Patreon (Bonus Episodes)# - https://patreon.com/BookOfBoredom #Twitter# - https://twitter.com/BookOfBoredom #TikTok# - https://tiktok.com/@BookOfBoredomPodcast #Instagram# - https://instagram.com/BookOfBoredomPodcast #YouTube# - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCMjDavWoT73Cev3IAie_XBA #Website# - https://bookofboredom.com/ A nice review on any podcast platform will help frustrate the Heavenly Father's boring plans for your future.

President Nelson encouraged us to "Think Celestial" in his last conference address. In this episode you will learn: Why thinking celestial matters What it even means.. How it can help us in every area of our lives How to do more of it What happens when we don't
A child, a sibling, a parent, a friend, the Parable of The Prodigal Son, is a parable to all; and quite possibly the greatest parable ever told. Sometimes in life we may go through things and experience trials that require us to "come to [ourselves]" before coming back "home." Other times we may have loved ones who go astray and we long for their return. We must remember who we are and that we have a Heavenly Father who loves us and will always run to us when we come to Him. Resources: "Think Celestial"- President Russell M. Nelson "His Grace is Sufficient"- Brad Wilcox Corrie Ten Boom- "There is no pit so deep, that God's love is not deeper still"
We sometimes think of the next life as a sacred existence--a time when we will be free from all the challenges of mortality. But mortality itself can be viewed as sacred because it is simply a slice of our eternal journey. In this episode, I share four examples from our mission here in Tahiti that show how mortality is sacred. We can choose to think celestial every day by praying, reading the scriptures, and serving others, even if we have made mistakes in the past. K. Brett Nattress, a General Authority Seventy of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, delivered this devotional address on January 16, 2024. Nothing like this wave of evil has ever struck our world. Not in the days of Noa, not in the days of Sodom. This is the last time when the Earth is at its most ripe in iniquity. How do we protect our children from the onslaught of evil? The constant bombardment of messages of perversion, and the anti-American propaganda? The Book of Mormon is the remedy to all of it. The pages contain doctrine that is undefiled. Your child cannot read the book without having layers of scales fall off their eyes. The book will dispel evil, and teach the true doctrine of Christ. It will become a shield and protection against Satan and his minions. It will help the repentance process start, continue, and complete. It will soften, heal, cleanse, guide, teach, compel, invite, bring faith in Christ, and bring them into his fold. Nothing on earth has the power to dissolve the false teaching of today's society. The world is destined to burn, but your child is not. Give them the Book of Mormon. It will literally save them from the burning that is soon to reign down from the skies.

In Part Two of their conversation, Paul Cardall and Peter Breinholt delve into the world of Mormon music and LDS culture. A multi-million dollar industry, Mormon music is relatively unknown. As the Church expanded its membership beyond Utah's borders, so did the audience for recording artists who are members of the LDS Church or create music with Mormon themes. Both Paul and Peter have their roots in Mormonism, which adds depth and insight to this episode, particularly for those unfamiliar with mainstream Mormonism or the LDS Church. After General Conference I was left pondering President Nelson’s invitation to “Think Celestial.” I wondered what thinking celestial looked like when put into practice and what it would truly take to follow this advice. In this episode I dive into President Nelson’s conference talk and discuss the practical ways we can heed the words of the prophet and think celestially in our everyday lives. Join me and together we will discover the challenges and blessings that come from shifting our mindset as we try to think celestial on our journey to Prosper Stronger.
"When President Russell M. Nelson invited us to think celestially, it reminded us to look harder, take the long view, and change our perspective. For the next six months, that is our quest. We will consider Perspective, Devotion, and Relationship. Let us all look harder and think celestial. It will lead us to discover the rich blessings Heavenly Father has in store for each of us."
Did you catch all the exclamation points in President Nelson's invitation to "Think Celestial" and wonder how to apply this gusto to your own dilemmas and hardships? That's what this episode focuses on today! In this episode of Magnify, our contributor Kaylen Nelson is sharing three main takeaways from President Nelson's address Think Celestial! "Let the big picture relieve your stress. You don't have to have it all figured out now. That's what thinking celestial is." Kaylen's three takeaways: Begin with the end in mind: This is a message of hope and happiness! Our Savior intends for us to make it in this life. When we take the long view and remember to keep repentance in mind, it should relieve us of the stress of trying to be perfect right now. We can have joy today! Our thoughts precede our actions: Thinking a little higher and holier could prevent a lot of heartache and disastrous decisions in a myriad of ways. The way we think about things like the law of chastity and our relationship to others and God will affect what kinds of decisions we make. He is my solace: Where do we turn for peace? When we turn to the Lord for peace in our lives, the shame of what we may have done can be gone. We can repent and move on from our lives because we understand the fabulous plan is to be safe with the Savior. Small and simple challenge: Think celestial! Take the time to study out President Nelson's talk, and then find ways to change those thoughts. Change the way you interact with even just one person this week.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Twice a year, leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints address the world in a broadcasted conference. To have people with different perspectives come together and discuss the messages heard was a delightful experience. Some highlights from this episode are hearing what everyone's favourite talks were, General Conference traditions and food, where we can find true 'heroes' today, what we thought of Russell M Nelson's talk 'Think Celestial' and more.—----Follow For All The Saints on social media and sign up to the newsletter for updates and inspiring weekly messages:For All The Saints episodes are released every Monday on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and more. In today's episode, we take the everyday 'crumb'y moments that we as parents go through with young children and discuss different ways we can 'think Celestial' as President Nelson counseled in His most recent General Conference address. Talks referenced: "Think Celestial!" -President Russell M. Nelson
Kevin and Todd attempt to review some crucial wisdom from President Nelson's years of experience. He shares the importance of intentionally living a Celestial life, with the intention of ending up in the Celestial Kingdom. Doing so elevates our lives and helps to ensure that we are doing all we can to end up where we want to be, relying on the Grace and Atonement of Jesus Christ, after all we can do.
Discussion about Come, Follow Me, "For the Perfecting of the Saints," Ephesians.
