Speaker: Ken Primeau | Lead Pastor at Mercy Road Northeast
In this thought-provoking episode, we explore the concept of manifestation from a Christian perspective, examining its spiritual implications and alignment with biblical teachings. Join us as we discuss the differences between manifestation practices and faith-based living, and why many Christians believe that manifestation is not of God. Through scripture analysis, theological insights, and personal testimonies, we offer a comprehensive look at the reasons behind this belief and provide guidance for those seeking to align their lives more closely with God's will.Verses:John 15:7: If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him and he will make your paths straight.Ecclesiastes 3:11: Yet God has made everything beautiful for its own time. He has planted eternity in the human heart, but even so, people cannot see the whole scope of God's work from beginning to end.Deuteronomy 8:17-19: He did all this so you would never say to yourself, ‘I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.' Remember the Lord your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath. “But I assure you of this: If you ever forget the Lord your God and follow other gods, worshiping and bowing down to them, you will certainly be destroyed.Conenct with Cari:Instagram: instagram.com/carithompsonrnFacebook: www.facebook.com/cari.ayres.3Website: VeryCariPodcast.com

Is it really possible to have more peace and less anxiety in a greatly troubled world? Anxiety is all around us. You can't turn on the tv or social media without seeing anxiety and most likely then starting to feel the anxiety yourself. We are called to be set apart. We are to look differently and act differently. How do we do that when things around us are so insane and we are seeing the world fall apart? How do we not let it get to us and cause us to have more anxiety? The world is full of chaos and unrest. But unrest is the opposite of what Jesus gives us. He gives us rest. He IS our rest. Using Jesus as our guide we can have more peace and less anxiety in this troubled world we are living in. Because Jesus is God's gift to us of true and lasting peace. In this final part of our series on the Power of Testimony, Cherie Snyder sits down with Stasi to share the journey of her faith. For many years, Cherie wrestled with a deep feeling that something was inherently wrong with her, that it was up to her to earn her worth, and that God's love was one of obligation. Yet just as our God pursues each one of us uniquely and personally, Cherie tells how He wooed her in order to reveal His true heart and capture hers for Himself.…..SHOW NOTES:…..VERSES: John 4:5-30 (NIV) — The story of Jesus talking with a Samaritan women at the well2 Corinthians 4:4 (NIV) — The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.Philippians 2:5-11 (NIV) — In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage; rather, he made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to death—even death on a cross! Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.Philippians 2:1-2 (NIV) — Therefore if you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any common sharing in the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and of one mind. ….. "Instead of getting caught up in the exclusivity of the claims of Christ, why don't we just live out the beauty of Christ?" Pastor Louie launches a new collection of talks, Believer, with a powerful message about what it means to be Christian. Believing in Christ is inclusive to everyone, though he identifies how our lives should identify Christ when we choose to follow Him. As followers of the Way, we entrust Jesus to lead us, and people who don't know Him will follow close behind.
