Random and relevant conversations that may or may not be discussed in church, but it just so happens to be my last name! Topics will range from philosophy to personal interests, pews to prisons, sports to poetry, puberty to parenting, politics to therapy, and perhaps several questions that may never be answered. But hey, let’s talk it out!

Needless to say, everything in their life needed a reassessment with this news and the doors that opened and closed were simply providential. Meghan talks about her crunchy/organic nature and how she prefers more natural alternatives, especially considering some medical issues she's had. She even makes her own soap and deodorant at home!!! I thought it was due time to check in with y'all and update you on some new endeavors in my life as well as give you hope and encouragement and permission to fully feel all the feelings in this chapter of your life. God gave us all a myriad of emotions (at least 87 that can be named) that too often we suppress. It's healthy and cathartic to allow time and space for those to surface in a safe environment. Perhaps it's with a therapist if you're blessed with that privilege, or it could be with a trusted confidant in your sphere. It could also be in solitude. However, I urge you to be careful to not let the solitude be a masked form of suppression. As always, reach out to me if you need someone to talk to. I'll listen with no judgement and with confidentiality. If you're feeling discouraged, I guarantee that if you encourage someone else, it will signal to your brain to feel as encouraged as if someone else did it for you. Keep smiling, homies. I have so much love and appreciation for y'all.

I met these newlyweds at a Johnnyswim show a couple weeks ago and immediately connected with their energy! Possibly because they, too, are musicians AND they're a 7 and a 2 on the ennegram (my type is a tie of those two!). Their talent with music, songwriting, and artistry is excellent and their hearts are even more grand than their giftings. Listen to The Graes on Spotify or Apple Music as and follow them on Instagram @wearethegraes! They also just started their own podcast called All Things Grae! I loved this conversation because of my love for music and writing, but also because they give encouragement and helpful advice to musicians, singers, writers, or any aspiring artists on the challenges and highlights of making music a career! And they're fantastic conversationalists and just fun and down to earth friends (that have guaranteed me VIP passes to their shows if I make them a cool sign!) --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app
