The very best coaches are the most coachable and today, the tables are turned as I put myself in the hands of one of the most experienced and successful coaches on the planet. I'm coached by Master Coach and author of the bestselling book The Prosperous Coach, Rich Litvin.  And we go deep. Really deep.  In this vulnerable episode, we break through ancestral patterns, unconscious commitments to our family and lineage, and what it takes to walk your unique path as a conscious, empowered, and sovereign being. We get vulnerable about the unseen weights we carry through life, familial patterns, and societal pressures that restrict women's freedom. I opened up about my own journey as the only daughter of the eldest daughter in a lineage of formidable matriarchs. The burdens that I've unconsciously carried to be the responsible one, care for others, and atone for my mother's wounds. Rich guides me to confront these binding promises passed down through generations of women in my family. We explored how I've tolerated situations that deplete my energy and override my body's wisdom. Rich's profound insights shook me to my core and brought light to patterns that no longer serve me.  If you feel called to cut energetic ties to familial burdens passed down through generations so that you can liberate yourself to become more of who you truly are, this soul-stirring discussion is for you. EPISODE INSIGHTS: The heavy burdens placed on the matriarchs and daughters in lineages. How our caretakers and childhood role models pass down toxic patterns of behavior unconsciously Breaking ancestral ties to walk your own path The lack of rites of passage for women (and the importance of having them) How our bodies remember everything and can still carry familial tension from our ancestors The importance of healing forward, not trying to fix the past HIGHLIGHT QUOTES: "There's a heaviness to what the women in all of our lineages have had to carry." Rich Litvin “There's a part of me that feels that I should carry extra because I have the capacity to.” Celinne Da Costa "When we do the work for ourselves, there's healing that goes on in all sorts of other ways." Rich Litvin “It's okay to set myself free from the obligation that I thought I had to carry." Celinne Da Costa “No matter how powerful the person I'm speaking to, I can find those places where they're lacking in power, where they're pretending they have power, or where they have more power than they know.” Rich Litvin BUSINESS BY SOUL Are you feeling the magnetic pull in your soul to build a purpose-driven business that fulfills your highest potential? Building a coaching business or a community is like pushing a car. At first, the inertia makes it a really slow process, but eventually, the momentum will kick in.  That's right where my guest, Richard, is sitting with his business. Richard is a consultant and a coach who has worked in tech for 20 years. He works with fast-moving business leaders who love complexity. Richard questions where he is supposed to find interesting people that he will love to work with.  In this replay episode from an earlier season of this 1 Insight podcast, you'll be right there with us as I inform Richard of the truth - that he can go find the communities that they hang out in or he can create those communities himself! In this episode, Rich and Amrit talk about coaching, the direction of coaching in terms of the industry and how to become coachable. They dive deep into insight coaching and how just one powerful question can expand new possibilities in your life and business and change everything, and how important it is to have a mission that is so powerful that nothing can stop you.Rich loves coaching live and Amrit has personally benefited from Rich's wisdom and guidance. There are many insights that have served him that will serve you too. Rich is a thought leader in the coaching world, leads a community of almost 20,000 coaches and consultants, and he has helped train some of the most exclusive coaches on the planet. He is the founder of 4PC, a community of the top 4% of coaches and leaders and a best selling author.Slowing down and being present allow you to be more creative, think deeply and connect intimately. Being present in conversations and listening to what other people have to say, allows Rich to see the world that they live in. Then he can ask questions that will crack open the world they live in for an insight shift and a new possibility. This new possibility is a choice they may use or not. If so, it will have a ripple effect in every single aspect of their life and business. The enemy of a new possibility is the status quo. It doesn't want you to change and holds you back from your zone of genius. You have to find ways for yourself to show up with your gift, dream big and have a mission that nothing can stop you. Leaders must become lazier and lazier, that means do one thing today that makes the biggest difference. Status quo also affects leaders. It keeps them from being their authentic selves; they want to be visible but don't want to be seen. Leadership is not about that, it is about being human and then being real about it. If people feel you they will trust you. Coaching mastery is a longlife journey. Rich believes conventional success keeps your bills paid, but exponential success is where you are willing to put at risk your current success for future success. This means doing things you have never done before and working on yourself constantly.Level up your life with unlimited access to every Mindvalley Quest Program (over 30+ programs). All Yours. Finding intimacy with others begins with becoming intimate and honest with ourselves. In this episode with Kendra Cunov, we discuss the difficult habitual patterns we can get into as women seeking comfort and validation from our relationships. After years of dating men who were not fully available to commit to partnership, Kendra decided to take a break from dating and men altogether. She knew this was what she needed to get to the bottom of what was having her stay in deeply unfulfilling dynamics. She made a commitment to get in right relationship with The Masculine, to figure out what she really wanted in a relationship, and to liberate her own desire to love and be loved. Since then, she has worked with thousands of men, women & couples in the areas of embodiment, intimacy, and true self-expression. Vicki Shillington has over 20 years experience as an executive at a Fortune 50 form. She's been a consultant at one of the "Big Five" accounting and consulting firms. She's built a reputation for leading transformation for Fortune 500 companies. She's an expert in positive psychology. And she's known for speaking her truth to high level leaders. Her clients include a $500 billion dollar corporation. And she's regularly called on to consult with start-ups (one of her passions). Her company has created a model to lead businesses through the current economic uncertainty. She shared it with us in 4PC and blew us away with her thinking, her insights and her ideas. So, I asked her if she'd be willing to share these ideas with my whole community. This will support YOU. And it will support YOUR CLIENTS. The model you will learn has 3 phases – Chaos, Acceptance and the New Normal. As a leader, it's essential you identify which stage you're in, which stage your business is in and which stage your team is in. You need to show up differently as a leader, in each stage. You need to make different decisions and take different actions, in each stage. And you must communicate differently with team members who are in another stage to you, otherwise you'll upset them and even lose them. If you're a coach this is an incredible tool for you. And it's an excellent tool to guide and support your clients. Love. Rich PS. After you've listened to this episode, get in touch. Today I coached Catherine. Catherine is a member of 4PC, she is a top performer, she is an estate attorney by background, and she has a business that makes millions. She is really making an impact on people's lives, helping them create an amazing future for themselves and their children. She has had a taste of coaching and loves it! But she is sucked into those things that drain her of energy in her business. So, I teach her a tool that I call "Hell yes. Hell No. Maybe." It will transform her business, it will transform her leadership team, and it will transform the life of all of them as they get more and more away from the "hell nos" and more and more into the "hell yeses" for their life and their business. I tell her a story too about another tool called "the avoid at all costs list," which is a game changer. She has this insight that has her say "wow," and then we are there. Enjoy. -- For most of human history, it wasn’t called coaching. It was called leadership. Kendra has worked with thousands of men, women & couples in the areas of embodiment, intimacy, communication & full self-expression. She co-founded Authentic World, as well as The Embodied Relationship & Intimacy Training Salon, and pioneered some of the most cutting edge relation work on the planet. Kendra has consulted for companies such as Genentech & is currently on staff for 4PC, an elite mastermind for the top 4% of coaches in the world. She works with organizations & leaders, as well as men, women & couples, who know that presence, truth, connection & integrity are our truest access points to success - in business & in love. So in this show, we explored the juicy topic of women feeling that their man isn't meeting them, and that they could be warm, loving and open if only their partner was meeting them in all the ways they desire. This is something that Kendra and I see show up so often with our clients but also in ourselves! We then shared some ways to expand past this sense of waiting to be met.   I adored this show, Kendra is such a rare gem and is overflowing with wisdom - I think you're going to love it too.

Ever feel like you just share a brain with some people? That is how I feel about today's guest, Kendra Cunov, who is back for her second time on the show. Her big truth was, "Just moving the body will literally change everything." From there we talked about coming home to ourselves (which by the way caused me to have my biggest Freudian slip on the show ever, it was hilarious), the idea that "it" has to be somebody's fault, our responsibility for others' feelings, internal fundamental wholeness and what healthy love and intimacy actually look like. She also dropped in two big concepts that were so fun to explore: 1) We don't heal by continually putting ourselves in situations that wound us and 2) How to use our own behavior as a barometer in assessing healthy relationships. You'll probably want to listen to this one a few times to get all the nuggets. Kendra has worked with thousands of men, women & couples in the areas of embodiment, intimacy, communication & full self-expression. She works with organizations & leaders, as well as men, women & couples, who know that presence, truth, connection & integrity are our truest access points to success - in business & in love. So in this show, we spoke about what it means to experience life as a woman in today's world and what we need from our environment, from other women and from ourselves. Kendra and I we also aware of the fine line we were dancing between talking about men and women as one homogenous mass and talking "this is what it means to be a woman' as if women have to be a certain defined way. We spoke about feeling like 'the wrong kind of woman' - maybe not feminine enough, feminism, nature, intuition, competition, sex and more. Just like feminine energy, this conversation flowed everywhere!   Although this episode is about women, it's not just for women, if you're a man you will understand far more about women if you listen in too! I'd love to know what YOU think about this week's show. Let's carry on the conversation… please leave a comment below. What you'll learn from this episode: There's a deep longing in women to be connected to nature. We are moved by cycles which are connected and reflected by the cycles in the natural world and we suffer when we don't find a connection to nature. We don't need men anymore so it's a choice. If we choose to be together, what shall we create? We have the opportunity to create something extraordinary and beautiful. What would be really radical would be to value the work that women typically do as much as we value the work that men typically do. It's about opening up choice. We got sold this lie of a need to compete with other women but what's natural for us is for us to gather together to support, encourage and love each other. The magic that's created in those spaces isn't just powerful for us as women but can ripple out to the world around us. Something aligned to that is what Kendra talked about in terms of the response to adrenaline in women which is to gather! Love that! When we base our culture around what's best for mothers and children, an entire eco-system is created from there which allows the entire community to thrive. The practice that Kendra shared at the end - a regular practice of going in and listening to your body - your mind, your heart, your gut, your vagina. Be incredibly honest about what you hear AND give yourself permission not to follow its guidance too!
