It's a big ole' MLM And others are holding on to dear life to their old school sales & marketing tactics What recession? ANYONE can manifest millions! The truth, as usual, is somewhere in the middle. Coaching is a potent modality for transformation, Anddddd….. The industry has some pretty gnarly, out-dated practices that are no longer relevant and have harmed many. Both are true. Tuning into what love wants may often be at the expense of what you want, sometimes at the expense of what your partner wants. Your capacity to tune into what love wants from a trustable place is a big part of masculine leadership." - John Wineland True Change "No true change in behavior or thinking can come without an awakened body and an activated heart and a spacious mind." - John Wineland The Wisdom Of The Moment "Stop doing, stop striving, stop practicing. Relax into receiving the wisdom of the moment through your body and wait for some intuitive thought, something to come through, some next move. Receive the wisdom of the moment. Whatever comes through you, it's coming from a deeper place than your habitual thoughts." - John Wineland Links From Today's Show John Wineland 382 Stefanos Sifandos | What Inner Work Actually Is: Exploring Ego Death, Health Freedom & The Scale of Awareness 361 Luke Storey: Relationships, Consciousness, & Coming Home To Yourself From the Core: A New Masculine Paradigm for Leading with Love, Living Your Truth, and Healing the World by John Wineland 332 John Wineland: Your Guide To Masculine & Feminine Polarity Kendra Cunov Johnny Blackburn The Way of the Superior Man: A Spiritual Guide to Mastering the Challenges of Women, Work, and Sexual Desire by David Deida John and Julie Gottman Harville Hendrix Stan Tatkin Jordan Peterson Alan Watts It Didn't Start with You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle by Mark Wolynn 311 Mark Wolynn | It Didn't Start With You: Ending The Cycle of Inherited Trauma Dr. Rhonda Patrick Paul Chek Shop the Wellness Force Media Store breathwork.io HIGHER DOSE INFRARED MAT, RED LIGHT FACE MASK, SAUNA BLANKET - Get 15% off with the code “JOSH15“ (link + code must be used together for discount) Cured Nutrition CBD - Save 20% with the CODE "WELLNESSFORCE" PLUNGE – Save $150 with the code “WELLNESSFORCE" LiftMode - Save 10% with the code "JOSH10" Organifi – Special 20% off to our listeners with the code ‘WELLNESSFORCE' HVMN - Get 20% off your Ketone IQ order with the code "JOSH" MitoZen – Save 10% with the code “WELLNESSFORCE” Paleovalley – Save 15% on your ACV Complex with the code ‘JOSH' NOOTOPIA - Save 10% with the code "JOSH10" ActivationProducts – Save 20% with the code “WELLNESSFORCE” NEUVANA - Save 15% with the code “WELLNESSFORCE” SENSATE - Save $25 on your order with the code "JOSH25" DRY FARM WINES - Get an extra bottle of Pure Natural Wine with your order for just 1¢ CHILISLEEP - Save 25% on Josh's favorite ChiliSleep products with the code "JOSH" ION - Save 15% off sitewide with the code ‘JOSH1KS' TOUPS - Save 15% with the code "JOSH" Feel Free from Botanic Tonics – Save $40 when you use the code ‘WELLNESS40′ Drink LMNT – Zero Sugar Hydration: Get your free LMNT Sample Pack, with any purchase BREATHE - Save 20% by using the code “PODCAST20” Essential Oil Wizardry: Save 10% with the code ‘WELLNESSFORCE' MY GREEN MATTRESS - Save up to $125 on your order with the code "JOSH" NEUROHACKER - Save 15% with the code "WELLNESSFORCE" ALIVE WATER - Save 33% on your first order with the code "JOSH33" M21 Wellness Guide Wellness + Wisdom Community Leave Wellness + Wisdom a review on Apple Podcasts John Wineland Facebook Instagram Twitter YouTube About John Wineland For over a decade, John Wineland, an LA-based teacher, speaker, and entrepreneur has been leading both men and women in the realms of relationships, sexual intimacy, and life purpose. As I said in the intro to this conversation, I've been wanting to have Kendra on the podcast for a LONG time. Her work, and specifically, the No Man Diet, changed E.V.E.R.Y.T.H.I.N.G. for me. In this episode, we explore the concept of liberation through limitation. I believe this concept could change the world and re-orient us to what matters most. Why do I love this concept? Because this narrative flies in the face of the main cultural narrative that more = freedom. I have to agree with my accountant on this one, who cheekily calls this the “more monster.” What is truly at the root of this “more monster”? Scarcity. On the other side, I'm holding the question, “What does enough feel like?” “What does sustainability and agency get to look like?” “How can I continue to find the nectar available in the simple?" Eurydice speaks with Kendra on life, love, and her No-Man-Diet intestive. Who is I in Nature and Who is I in the World? Natural and Unnatural are more accurate definitions than right and wrong. But again do we know what's natural and unnatural? After 6000 years of rewarding and prioritizing the unnatural? Integration is the goal. Our culture is still a patriarchy because our patterns and our meanings are stuck in the old patriarchy which teaches us to live split in half. Getting our self worth from external sources is one of the hooks that old culture has in us. In patriarchy we learn identity and language as a division (split) of ourselves: who we are told we are (our identities) and who we feel we are (our bodies) and the two become further and further removed so by the time we become sexual beings in puberty, when our bodies change? It becomes harder to know what our bodies say and pick up and alert us on, so a lot of our living becomes performative. We lose access to authentic reasons and so we behave to cultural reasons in order to get social reactions. We take advantage of our body as if it were a marionette or a puppet to get things we need from culture: work money approval success which is how our living becomes performative & that's our chronic pattern now so it's hard to switch out of cultural desire because self-objectification is culturally ingrained. How do we harmonize our body and mind, our nature and culture? Self integration is a warrior challenge. Syncing up ourselves is a worthy challenge. Today we're talking about something I'm not so great at - embodying my emotions. You'd think because I was a therapist and a yoga teacher, I'd get an A in this subject, but that's not the case. For a while, I've been telling myself that because I move on so quickly from difficult events or painful emotions, I must be a fast processor. That I was super skilled at digesting my emotions and moving on. Now, I'm not so sure. I think what I might be doing is intellectualizing, compartmentalizing, and minimizing my true feelings. And not fully embodying them. To help sort things out, I sat down with my friend and colleague Rachel Peters who knows a bit about this business of emotions. Hope you enjoy the conversation and let us know what you're taking away from it. Rachel is the creator of the yearlong Embody Ease Program and Advanced Mastermind Program and offers yoga online and in Prescott as Rachel Peters Yoga. She coaches women all over the world through her involvement with Yogahealer and co-leads virtual and integrated programs through Practice Wellness Community, a collaboration with two of her sisters on the yoga path. website: easefullivingcommunity.com IG @rachelpetersyoga Resources mentioned in this episode: Kendra Cunov https://www.kendracunov.com/no-man-diet/ No Man Diet Stripped: A Collection of Inspired Writings for the Evolving Woman by Cara Aleill Leyba

Without digging deep within your personal energy, you cannot harness your inner power to unlock your authentic self. Through embodied wholeness, you can manifest all your goals and build better relationships. Baeth Davis explores this topic further with Kendra Cunov, the Founder of the Fierce Grace Incubator. Kendra talks about unleashing intimacy to properly manage personal boundaries, learning how to uphold them and when to cross them. She also shares her No Man Diet that aims to get you out of repetitive and unhealthy relationships. Finally, she explains the Relationship by Design Fundamentals, a course Baeth took herself which focuses on dismissing false beliefs to become more active in handling romantic partnerships.

Finding intimacy with others begins with becoming intimate and honest with ourselves. In this episode with Kendra Cunov, we discuss the difficult habitual patterns we can get into as women seeking comfort and validation from our relationships. After years of dating men who were not fully available to commit to partnership, Kendra decided to take a break from dating and men altogether. She knew this was what she needed to get to the bottom of what was having her stay in deeply unfulfilling dynamics. She made a commitment to get in right relationship with The Masculine, to figure out what she really wanted in a relationship, and to liberate her own desire to love and be loved. Since then, she has worked with thousands of men, women & couples in the areas of embodiment, intimacy, and true self-expression. She also leads a program for women to embark upon a similar journey she went on, called The No-Man Diet. In this conversation we also discuss the energetics behind our actions, and be sure to listen to the end because I love her response when asked, “What advice do you have for a woman feeling dissatisfied with her life right now?” We hope you enjoy the show. In this episode we discussed: Relating to self and the world and how Kendra was drawn to the world of truth-telling and relationships Kendra’s program, “The No Man Diet” and how she’s been helping women release addictive and unhealthy patterns in relationship to men Cultivating intuition and giving ourselves permission to listen to it The energetics behind our actions and why we sometimes say something that is received differently than we expected The journey of finding self worth and learning to value yourself Courage and how to live from a place of authentic self-expression Getting really honest with where you are at and the powerful words of wisdom Kendra has for women feeling dissatisfied in their lives Stay in Touch with Kendra: Website Instagram Stay in Touch with Rising Women Leaders: Patreon Instagram Facebook Group Founder of The Collective: A Global Web of Women Devoted to Embodied Wholeness, Kendra Cunov has been studying, facilitating, and (most importantly) practicing Authentic Relating, Embodiment Practices & Deep Intimacy Work for over fifteen years. Episode 308: It can be extremely challenging to let go of control (in a healthy way) and the need for everything to be according to a strict plan. It's even more challenging to let the future unfold in these uncertain and turbulent times. The feminine/masculine spheres of control and surrender are not as simple as "feminine yielding" and "masculine control" - there is feminine control and masculine control, just as there is masculine yielding and feminine yielding. Show Notes: As an introvert, is finding it healthier to be in nature vs. in Brooklyn. It took trust to be led into a new living situation without a plan. If you struggle with being led, this is an invitation to notice how often you feel your heartspace tighten around a plan. What if you viewed your life as it time didn't exist? Let go of the idea of anything being final and live on a moment-to-moment basis. "When we start making promises about the future, we severely tighten the corset on life." What could be around the corner could be better. The masculine within you is the part that says, "I trust myself so deeply to get myself out of any mess, so I can say yes without diving deeper." Disempowered feminine: "I can't make plans. Plans are too hard for me. Can you make the plans for me?" or "I have to make all the plans. I can't trust anyone to do it." It's important to be both spiritual and relatable - balance of masculine-grounded/feminine-ethereal. This week's show is with Kendra Cunov, the Founder of Fierce Grace: Practices of Embodied Wholeness for Women, Kendra has been studying, facilitating, and (most importantly) practicing Authentic Relating, Embodiment Practices & Deep Intimacy Work for the last fifteen years. Kendra has worked with thousands of men, women & couples in the areas of embodiment, intimacy, communication & full self-expression. She co-founded Authentic World, as well as The Embodied Relationship & Intimacy Training Salon, and pioneered some of the most cutting edge relation work on the planet. She works with organizations & leaders, as well as men, women & couples, who know that presence, truth, connection & integrity are our truest access points to success - in business & in love. So in this show, we explored the juicy topic of women feeling that their man isn't meeting them, and that they could be warm, loving and open if only their partner was meeting them in all the ways they desire. This is something that Kendra and I see show up so often with our clients but also in ourselves! We then shared some ways to expand past this sense of waiting to be met. I adored this show, Kendra is such a rare gem and is overflowing with wisdom - I think you're going to love it too.

What Kendra Shares: Her realization that there is no mythical ‘daddy’ figure that she missed out on The parts of single parenting that work really well for her The parts of her pregnancies that brought forward wisdom What You’ll Hear: Allowing the relationships in your life to be what they are, without searching for perfection When we relate to others as whole human being with histories, bodies, and experiences, we can approach relationships more fully Allowing the people in our lives to shine in their strengths Honoring what you’re really good at, while also expanding into new areas and roles Examining how to embody our power as women Holding the role of teacher while also continuing to empower others on their own inner authority Sometimes opening ourselves to our own inner wisdom takes removing the obligation to follow it The authentic power that can come from following your inner wisdom rather than social conditioning Taking your own wellbeing into account when making familial decisions Finding ways to resource yourself and your parenting Unshaming your sexuality and showing up for your own pleasure Embracing humanity in its fullness Improving your relationship with other genders through strengthening your own healthy masculine and feminine Knowing that you belong
Ever feel like you just share a brain with some people? That is how I feel about today's guest, Kendra Cunov, who is back for her second time on the show. Her big truth was, "Just moving the body will literally change everything." From there we talked about coming home to ourselves (which by the way caused me to have my biggest Freudian slip on the show ever, it was hilarious), the idea that "it" has to be somebody's fault, our responsibility for others' feelings, internal fundamental wholeness and what healthy love and intimacy actually look like. She also dropped in two big concepts that were so fun to explore: 1) We don't heal by continually putting ourselves in situations that wound us and 2) How to use our own behavior as a barometer in assessing healthy relationships. You'll probably want to listen to this one a few times to get all the nuggets. On this episode of She Rises, host Giovanna Capozza recaps her thoughts on the No-Man Diet, and how she experienced “No-Manorexia.” Giovanna recaps the episode of She Rises where she interviews Kendra Cunov. The No-Man Diet allows you to take a break from relationships and see what your patterns are. When Giovanna’s mom passed away she started to ask, “who’s going to love me now?” Giovanna realized that she had toxic love addiction. There’s a pendulum with relationships, you might experience “no-manorexia.” The mission of coming into sacred femininity, you need to be cautious of blocking out opportunity for relationship. Being closed off to relationships changed her levels of creativity and inspiration in business. When we close down feminine energy, that turns into lack of receptivity. Why being off balance could cause you to miss out on life. How to use the She Rises podcast as a conversation starter. Feminine and masculine energy applies to any sexual orientation. Ask yourself how these principles apply to business or even non-romantic relationships. Tweetable Quotes: One of the primary questions I answer in my upcoming book is, “who’s going to love me now?” When you make the commitment to find self reliance, you still need to be open and vulnerable to the masculine. When we close down feminine energy, that turns into lack of receptivity. Resources Mentioned: GiovannaCapozza.com

This week's show is with Kendra Cunov, Founder of Fierce Grace: Practices of Embodied Wholeness for Women, Kendra has been studying, facilitating, and (most importantly) practicing Authentic Relating, Embodiment Practices & Deep Intimacy Work for the last fifteen years. Kendra has consulted for companies such as Genentech & is currently on staff for 4PC, an elite mastermind for the top 4% of coaches in the world. She works with organizations & leaders, as well as men, women & couples, who know that presence, truth, connection & integrity are our truest access points to success - in business & in love. So in this show, we spoke about what it means to experience life as a woman in today's world and what we need from our environment, from other women and from ourselves. Kendra and I we also aware of the fine line we were dancing between talking about men and women as one homogenous mass and talking "this is what it means to be a woman' as if women have to be a certain defined way. We spoke about feeling like 'the wrong kind of woman' - maybe not feminine enough, feminism, nature, intuition, competition, sex and more. Just like feminine energy, this conversation flowed everywhere! Although this episode is about women, it's not just for women, if you're a man you will understand far more about women if you listen in too! I'd love to know what YOU think about this week's show. Let's carry on the conversation… please leave a comment below. What you'll learn from this episode: There's a deep longing in women to be connected to nature. We are moved by cycles which are connected and reflected by the cycles in the natural world and we suffer when we don't find a connection to nature. We don't need men anymore so it's a choice. If we choose to be together, what shall we create? We have the opportunity to create something extraordinary and beautiful. What would be really radical would be to value the work that women typically do as much as we value the work that men typically do. It's about opening up choice. We got sold this lie of a need to compete with other women but what's natural for us is for us to gather together to support, encourage and love each other. The magic that's created in those spaces isn't just powerful for us as women but can ripple out to the world around us. Something aligned to that is what Kendra talked about in terms of the response to adrenaline in women which is to gather! Love that! When we base our culture around what's best for mothers and children, an entire eco-system is created from there which allows the entire community to thrive. The practice that Kendra shared at the end - a regular practice of going in and listening to your body - your mind, your heart, your gut, your vagina. Be incredibly honest about what you hear AND give yourself permission not to follow its guidance too!
You know that old chestnut, "Go big or go home"? There's an implication that it looks a certain way to go BIG. It's usually shiny and far-reaching. There's loads of travel and champagne involved. Big success is seductive. So seductive, that we often we leave parts of ourselves (the creative part, for instance, or sometimes the kind part) in order to pursue it. Yet here's the bonkers thing: Do you even want that? Do you know what success means for YOU? Today's episode is about how we can stop leaving ourselves. How do we start listening to that deep inner whisper that wants to make us whole again, especially if it's whispering something that feels inconvenient? (Like 'quit your job'). Today’s guest is Kendra Cunov, founder of Fierce Grace: Practices of Embodied Wholeness for Women. Kendra studies, facilitates, and practices authentic relating, embodiment practices, and deep intimacy work. Some highlights of our conversation include: How to get back into integrity The link between adrenal fatigue and leaving ourselves Why we don't listen to our body wisdom Practical tips on tuning into your inner knowing again The "I want" practice - how repetition 'clears out the pipes' and allows the Truth to come out A phrase that makes you available to this moment This conversation is like a deep, soft exhale. Why Kendra lived at a Buddhist Monastery for a period of time and how it eventually led her to leave the monastery to lead relational dynamics with her now ex husband Two of her teachers: Sofia Diaz and David Deida Authentic relating: the practice of hiding nothing (not to be confused with share everything) How making assumptions about what people can and cannot handle from you can lead you to limiting yourself (all from just an assumption, too!)-- this is why we often show our full spectrum of emotions to some people, but not all people. How Kendra has learned what works for her when she feels jealous in her relationship (and how she communicates it with her partner) Letting your emotions flare How to be generous and patient while you learn to let your man lead (sometimes badly) How to not be defensive when your partner is doing his best to be honest and vulnerable Let {Him} Lead You Badly (video) Going three layers deeper so you move past the surface level complaint and get to the real desire An example of how we often sabotage our partner from taking the role of leader My fear of going deep into this woo-woo relationship realm and how it may disconnect me from the "mainstream" men I have available to date (and what Kendra has to say about that) The Myth of Being Met in Relationship You can be exactly who you are whether you are in a relationship or not: you never have to change your ways or your behavior (unless you decide to) How the masculine creates the structure and the feminine is the energy that fills it Why using a word like "energy" might feel better than a word like surrender Must-read book: The Art of Asking by Amanda Palmer Diptyque Rose Candles Connect with Kendra: Website Facebook

Today’s guest is Kendra Cunov “Kendra is one of the most powerful coaches & leaders I know. If you are looking to deepen your personal relationships, grow your business, build your team, or improve the communication and leadership skills of your team leaders, you would be well-served to work with Kendra. Her guidance has supported me in scaling my events, while simultaneously creating even deeper and more intimate experiences for our participants. Her impact is magical.” – Rich Litvin, Author of The Prosperous Coach & 4PC Founder Kendra is the co-founder of Authentic World She works with people who know that connection, truth, and integrity are points to success She has consulted for companies like GenenTech and the staff at 4PC Learn more about Kendra on her website, KendraCunov.com Giovanna has known Kendra for a year now Sometimes, even Kendra thinks about how she came into her position right now She was born into a Zen Buddhist Monastery She went back to the monastery and lived there for 3 years as an adult The monastery was her life At 5, Kendra and her mom left the monastery When they moved, her memories became sharp and clear Kendra thinks that intentionally surrounding herself with people who are on the path of personal growth impacted her a lot At 19 or 20, Kendra looked around and saw a group of people dedicated to their awakening and their personal paths Kendra felt a part of her was already curious about this interpersonal experience There’s a dynamic tension between our solo experience and our interpersonal experiences Meditating solo everyday won’t improve interpersonal relationships; working on interpersonal relationships won’t build your inner stamina The test comes when you’re in a relationship – not necessarily a romantic one Authentic relating comes from a myriad of different communities/practices coming together Kendra’s husband and his business partner created the Authentic Man Program – it’s where Kendra first engaged herself in this interpersonal relating Kendra and her fiancé held authentic relating games nights It was creating experiences for people to connect in ways they don’t do on their own When you’re face to face with someone, you can think of your answers to that person, in that moment “It allowed people to share to others in the way that they were longing to” After 3 years of facilitating the game night, they started facilitating events for a dating company The dating company worked with more middle-aged, professional people This opportunity led Kendra to realize that authenticity works for everyone Another key was: “You gave us permission” Giovanna shares her experience with Kendra’s intimacy workshop last year Giovanna believes there was the sense of essential longing that she felt was fulfilled in that workshop Kendra feels fulfillment when people tell her how they felt with her sessions or workshops It’s normal to feel the way you do, especially in a container It takes a setup to play formally or informally “Containers hold us” Container or context is the thing that people say, “You gave us permission” “Set people up so they know what’s happening” Women operate on a deeper level than men Men are single-focused Women have dispersed attention One game Kendra plays is Curiosity Only one person asks, and another person answers for 3-5mins Nothing is off limits “The only rule is you have to be curious” The role of the person answering is to answer in a way that is true for them, in that moment Moment-to-moment discretion allows both people to be in that specific moment What Giovanna loves about this game is that each moment is genuine curiosity This game allowed Giovanna to get over herself and develop intimacy It’s easy to think we know a person There’s a loss of real intimacy when we think we know a person Continued mutual work towards intimacy can change all relationships Giovanna mentions a game she did in a workshop There’s a real value in putting yourself in real practice containers There’s a lot of work we can do in ourselves, but there are things that don’t get touched The format to be played is infinite Permission and witnessing in a triad We free other people and we witness in love, in the triad Giovanna felt reverence and gratitude for allowing herself to be a part of that Women are the worst because women can talk about a lot of things There’s a limit to what one should share Kendra shares about her experience while working in a shadow process Kendra’s full bodied expression Giovanna realized how uptight she was in that embodied piece Check out John Wineland – Kendra and John work together in the realm of romantic, intimate relationships They also work a lot on the piece of embodiment John and Kendra have a 6-month program – The Relationship and Intimacy Salon The work Giovanna did on her own let her blossom as a grown woman Want what you want and be able ask for what you want Kendra shares a funny story about spotting the only ripe mango on a tree while in a vehicle She was in Hawaii with her fiancé There was a mango tree and Kendra demanded that they stop the car She picked up a rock, hit the mango, and ate it Connect with Kendra on her website 3 Key Points: Solo meditation and engaging in interpersonal activities are BOTH important – you need both. Authentic relating builds up intimacy with a person—most people just need to be given that opportunity and permission. There’s a real loss of intimacy when we THINK we know a person, there’s always room to go deeper.
