So, what can Galaxy fans hope for from a side that will definitely get less experienced? Can Tucker Leply, Harbor Miller, Ruben Ramos Jr., Elijah Wynder, Isaiah Parente, and others help a winless Galaxy side find points where none seem likely? We left our last episode wondering about the costs of building a house with earth or clay materials. Turns out it's cheap! So if it's cheap? Have more people jumped on the opportunity to build this way and why hasn't it taken hold in urban settings? To answer these questions, We follow up with Miguel Angel Perez an earthbuilder from Baja, and talk about the costs of earthbuilding and chat with Rachel Formanek, a New Yorker who moved from California to Baja to find better and affordable living conditions. Lastly, we sit down with Alex Ruiz, director of urban planning in Tecate, and ask for his take on the viability of earth building in city settings. On this episode of This Magic Life, join Andrea as she sits down with Alex Ruiz, an Emmy-award winning animator and psychedelic artist who shares how he navigated his way from what felt like an earth-shattering rejection… To a prestigious slot as an animator on The Simpsons, which, even dozens of seasons later, generates the fourth most demand of any tv show in the United States (and only accepted 3 portfolios out of hundreds of submissions the year they hired him!). Alex Ruiz and Mike Gray react to the news and discuss what this means for the club and Greg Vanney. Speaking of Vanney, he's in some hot water with the fanbase after Billy Sharp reveals the lack of communication between the two when he departed SoCal.
After a long hiatus, El Trafico Radio with Alex Ruiz and Mike Gray is back! The pair return to discuss the 2023 LA Galaxy season; the good but mostly bad events that happened to the G's. This episode is treated as a goodbye weeks after the LA Galaxy's season concluded. The guys will discuss their highlight moments and the lowlights on the pitch. They will also assess players and Greg Vanney's third season with the Blue, White, and Gold. For more LA Galaxy coverage, head over to The Galactic Tribune!

Hosts Josh Guesman and Alex Ruiz will plot a path through Galaxy News and into this weekend's game to get you all the essential information ahead of what is sure to be another crazy game. But why could they possibly label this the least important El trafico? And what are some keys to the game for the Galaxy? Plus, will Puig's groin get through this game? Will he survive another yellow card game? The guys will also wade into the Billy Sharp Baby Shark debacle and tell you to stop being so serious. But will Sharp get the start over Dejan Joveljic? We've got a great show that is sure to get you ready for all the fun this weekend.

Hur bra är Tapia och Coello historiskt sett? Bästa laget någonsin? Och hur osportslig var egentligen Alex Ruiz? Podden blickar såklart mot helgens SPT och får fint besök av glödheta Linnea Björk i studion.
This week, Phil West talks to The Striker's LA Galaxy writer Alex Ruiz about the club's puzzling 2023 start. They discuss why things have been strange, what's going on with Riqui Puig, who's replaced Kevin Cabral as the most frustrating Galaxy player and who is the best Galaxy Twitter mom. They also get into early MLS MVP talk, St. Louis's torrid start and even a little Premier League talk just for fun.

They didn't get one in Portland. So are we looking at this with an optimistic eye? Are the Galaxy getting better with no wing play? On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman covers for a flying Panda. Kevin Baxter is off on assignments. Josh will be joined by Alex Ruiz, the LA Galaxy beat reporter for The Striker, to talk about the Galaxy's 0-0 draw with the Portland Timbers. Alex and Josh will discuss the debut of Calegari, talk about the play of Memo Rodriguez, and tell you why Gaston Brugman has been the best Galaxy player over the last couple of games. But with little to no wing play, can the Galaxy find the guys to make this team complete with just 24 days until the window closes? And will Douglas Costa be back on the field against Seattle? Or is he headed for a buyout? Josh will then break down the Galaxy's first four games on the game tracking charts and tell you why you don't know what kind of team the Galaxy will be from the first four games. But at this point, it could go either way. Hang on for another bumpy internet ride. Your captain has turned on the fasten-seatbelts sign.

But this time, it's because a computer error caused an 18-second delay that's keeping Julian Araujo in between clubs. On today's show, hosts Josh Guesman and Eric Vieira discuss all the Galaxy news that has made this week more entertaining than it should have been. And to make it even better, Alex Ruiz from The Striker joins the guys to talk training and dish about what plans the Galaxy have for signing some players. The guys will start with the Araujo situation. It would almost be funny if it didn't have the future aspirations of an up-and-coming youngster on the line. Will Araujo be allowed to go to Barcelona? And when will FIFA make its decision? Alex gives us all the updates from training and why almost everything the Galaxy are doing is in a holding pattern. The guys will also talk about AppleTV, and Josh will give his opinion on the new streaming service. There are some misses to the MLS Season Pass, but will it be a competent addition to your streaming services? Josh and Eric will also talk about MLS getting another hefty valuation from Forbes and why you probably can't trust it. And finally, the Galaxy have a Ponzi scheme connection that would make for a compelling movie. And no, it's not that Ponzi scheme. We've got a bunch to talk about, so let's get to it! Oh, and the Internet works!
The fierce combo of guitar playing brothers Rick and Mark Del Castillo, grace us with songs and stories of their Brownsville upbringing, learning music from their siblings, early bands, being on the road in the 80's, forming Del Castillo with Alex Ruiz, and joining forces with maverick filmmaker, Robert Rodriguez to work on soundtracks. This week, Jeremiah Bentley and Phil West talk to Alex Ruiz, new beat writer for The Striker covering the LA Galaxy, about the storied franchise and its travails during an interesting-so-far 2022. We also get into Charlotte beating Chelsea (which we all enjoyed), the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge line-up (because who doesn't love a Crossbar Challenge?), and some wild cross-conference matchups this weekend.
Jeppe har tagit sig från Marbella till Uppsala och fick se både Ehrnvall Sr och Jr spela finaler i sina klasser. Men vad händer i padel-Sverige?

Born and raised on the Mexican border in Brownsville Texas, Alex Ruiz grew up speaking both Spanish and English on a daily basis. At the age of 10, he moved to Austin with his grandmother, where he connected with a group of kids who were into Van Halen and MTV… and Alex saw his future. When he was a little older, Alex met Rick and Marc Del Castillo, who brought him into their fiery Latin/Texan band as their front man. In the early 2000s while playing at a club called Momo's, Del Castillo attracted the attention of film director, Robert Rodriguez. They've been collaborating ever since - both on stage and for film scores. www.songwritersacrosstexas.com

With the first set of matches into the books, Alex Ruiz goes over the games and storylines of the past 5 days. Going through all the teams and assessing which team can make a deep run and which one had a disappointing start.
Alex Ruiz starts off the new show talking about the CONCACAF Nations League final. One of the biggest international rivalries took place in Denver with the USA winning the match. Many questions are still left unanswered as the pressure builds for the Gold Cup later this summer.
