Friends of the Rosary,In the verse before the Gospel, St. John reminds us of two fundamental truths:"Your words, Lord, are Spirit and life; You have the words of everlasting life."Meanwhile, in the main reading (Matthew 5:17-19), Christ the Lord, through the disciples, is telling us:"Whoever breaks one of the least of these commandmentsand teaches others to do sowill be called least in the Kingdom of heaven. But whoever obeys and teaches these commandmentswill be called the greatest in the Kingdom of heaven."Being a faithful servant of Jesus means not only following his words but also cultivating our apostolic mission to spread the eternal truth. We continue praying our Holy Rosary from Austin, Texas.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,We continue praying our Holy Rosary from Austin, Texas. In today's main reading of the Gospel (Matthew 18:21-35), Jesus tells a parable that illustrates God's compassion and mercy — misericordia, in Latin and Spanish, signifying the suffering of the heart. It is the characteristic of the infinite love of God, as He never forgets his offspring. The whole mystery of the divine mercy is beyond our human understanding. Nothing would exist were it not willed into being by God.And the greatest manifestation of divine mercy is the forgiveness of sins. As Bishop Barron says, “This is the greatest grace the Church can offer: reconciliation, the restoration of the divine friendship, the forgiveness of our sins.”Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Without God, we are inevitably destined to dissatisfaction. It's impossible to reach joy, hope, and peace — the living water Jesus spoke of with the Samaritan woman (Jn 4:13-14).She represents the existential dissatisfaction of one who does not find what he seeks.Man is able to provide affection, money, power, human glory, honor, career, but the endless joy only belongs to the divine, infinite sphere. The living water is the gift of the Holy Spirit that only Christ the Lord offers. It's the water that flows only from the divine source. It's the living water of the Spirit that can quench man's thirst for the infinite. And the faithful receive the gift of God when they renounce a self-centered mentality.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Today's Today, the Third Sunday, the Catholic Church begins the second phase of Lent with the Gospel of “living water” (Jn 4:13-14): the intense dialogue of Jesus and the Samaritan woman, a foreigner from whom He asks a drink of water.Christ the Lord said to her, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again; but whoever drinks the water I shall give will never thirst; the water I shall give will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”Pope Benedict XVI, recalling the great teaching of Saint Augustine, explained: “God thirsts for our faith and our love. As a good and merciful father, he wants our total, possible good, and this good is he himself.”“The Samaritan woman, on the other hand, represents the existential dissatisfaction of one who does not find what he seeks. She had “five husbands,” and now she lives with another man; her going to and from the well to draw water expresses a repetitive and resigned life. However, everything changes for her that day, thanks to the conversation with the Lord Jesus……” (Benedict XVI, Angelus 24 February 2008).Today'sAve Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Today's Gospel (Luke 15:1–3, 11–32) portrays the prodigal son.The father stands for the divine mercy of God, and the older son stands for all of us sinners who misunderstand divine love.“Everything I have is yours.”The Father says the same to us today. In this magnificent parable, we see the prodigal son agonizing over his sins, feeling a great emptiness after he turned the divine gift into the ego's possession. Finally, he realizes that only the compassion and the mercy of his father will save him.We are the real prodigal sons whom God has forgiven and brought back into his love. Also, today, the Church celebrates the Memorial of Saints Perpetual and Felicity (d. 203), two martyrs whose names are mentioned together in the Roman Canon of the Mass. These two women, relying on the strength of Christ, who was fighting with them, were exposed to the fury of wild beasts in the amphitheater at Carthage and finally killed by the sword. They took their martyrdom as a triumphant celebration.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! This parable, presented by Christ himself, depicts an utterly unique view of the afterlife.‘Father Abraham, have pity on me.Send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I am suffering torment in these flames.'Abraham replied, ‘My child, remember that you received what was good during your lifetime while Lazarus likewise received what was bad;but now he is comforted here, whereas you are tormented. Moreover, between us and you a great chasm is establishedto prevent anyone from crossingwho might wish to go from our side to yoursor from your side to ours.'He said, ‘Then I beg you, father, send himto my father's house, for I have five brothers, so that he may warn them, lest they too come to this place of torment.'But Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the prophets.Let them listen to them.'He said, ‘Oh no, father Abraham, but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'Then Abraham said,‘If they will not listen to Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuadedif someone should rise from the dead.'Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Alongside Saints Cyril (827-869) and St Methodius (826-885), we honor today St. Valentine, Bishop and Martyr of Rome (died c. 269), a blessed Catholic priest beheaded.Valentine, along with St. Marius, aided the Christian martyrs during the Claudian persecution.Claudius Caesar, the Emperor, issued a decree forbidding young men from marrying to increase the size of his army. He believed that single men made better soldiers than married men.A young priest named Valentine defied this decree and urged young lovers to come to him in secret so that he could join them in the sacrament of matrimony.Claudius arrested and brought before him, attempting to convert him to Roman paganism rather than execute him. But Valentine tried to convert Claudius to Christianity, at which point the Emperor condemned him to death. While in prison, Valentine converted his jailer, Asterius, and his blind daughter, miraculously restoring her sight. The night before his execution, the priest wrote a farewell message to the girl and signed it affectionately "From Your Valentine," a phrase that lives on even to today. After performing many miraculous cures and giving much wise counsel he was beaten and beheaded under Claudius Caesar on February 14th, 273 AD in Rome. The church in which he is buried was already the first sanctuary Roman pilgrims visited upon entering the Eternal City.Today, St. Valentine's Day is a universal symbol of friendship and affection shared each anniversary of the priest's execution. Valentine has also become the patron of engaged and affianced couples.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Today, February 2, the Catholic Church celebrates the Feast of the Presentation of the Lord. This celebration, which takes place forty days after the birth of Jesus, is also known as Candlemas Day, since the blessing and procession of candles are included in the Mass.Christ is the light of the nations, hence the blessing and procession of candles on this day.Jesus' presentation signifies God's entrance to His temple. Soon after the Baptists' birth, God made man enter His temple, presenting Himself to those who were truly seeking Him.Attached to “Candlemas Day”, we also celebrate the World Day of Prayer for Consecrated Life, founded by Pope St. John Paul II in 1997. That's because the consecrated men and women are to be the light in the world, imitating Jesus, the Light of the World. On this day, the Church expresses its gratitude to all in the community who dedicate themselves in a special way to prayer, and to those with a particular religious vocation to the contemplative life.In the figures of Simeon and Anna, Jesus' presentation in the temple reminds us that prayer and contemplation are well-spent time. Only those who pray and offer penance, like Simeon and Anna, are open to the breath of the Spirit. This feast of the Presentation has a strong Marian dimension:On one hand, Simeon's prophecy emphasizes Mary's sufferings. Pope John Paul II taught that, “Simeon's words seem like a second Annunciation to Mary.”In the previous Liturgical Calendar, it was called the Purification of the Blessed Virgin Mary. indicating the renewal of her total offering to God for the accomplishment of His Divine Plan.On February 2nd, a secular tradition unfolds: Groundhog Day, well known to schoolchildren and adults alike. And He said,"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."The significance of the "poor in spirit" is revealed in the Beatitudes. This expression points to those whose hearts and consciences are intimately directed to Our Lord and who are tried by moments of suffering and difficulty. They don't confide mainly in themselves but in God.The poor in the Bible are the humbled, just, and meek, those who bear a burden on their shoulders, but are given God's favor. They are called blessed and happy because God's merciful and compassionate gaze rests on them. The poor detach themselves from the possession of persons and things, and above all, of themselves. The poor don't find security in the gods of this world, like success, power, or pride, but in the Lord God in Heaven.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! His father died when John was only two years old, and it was his mother, Margaret, who provided him with a good humanistic and Christian education.St. John Bosco, Don Bosco, was an enlightened educator, innovator, and leader. He had no formal system or theory of education; rather, he formulated one based on "reason, religion, and kindness." His methods centered on persuasion, authentic religiosity, and love for young people.Despite receiving criticism and violent attacks from the anti-clericals, he conducted workshops for the tradesmen and manual laborers, schools of arts and sciences for young workers, and schools of the liberal arts for those preparing for the priesthood. In 1868, there were 800 students involved in this educational system. This great apostle of youth died on January 31, 1888. Many referred to him as "the new St. Vincent de Paul." He was canonized by Pope Pius XI in 1934. Friends of the Rosary,Today, we celebrate the Memorial of St. Anthony, Abbot (251-356), the Father of the Monks, who retired to the desert at about the age of eighteen in order to live in perfect solitude and prayer. This 3rd-century saint exercised a profound influence upon succeeding generations.Born in Middle Egypt (about 250) to wealthy parents, he sold his possessions and gave his inheritance to the poor after hearing this passage in mass that we read today in Matthew 19:16-26.Jesus said,"If you wish to be perfect, go,sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me."The saint suffered repeatedly from diabolical attacks, but these made him more steadfast in virtue. He said to his disciples, "Believe me; the devil fears the vigils of pious souls, and their fastings, their voluntary poverty, their loving compassion, their humility, but most of all their ardent love of Christ our Lord.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,In today's reading (Mark 1:29-39), we see how people from Galilee brought to Jesus those who were ill or possessed by demons. His physical healing points to his spiritual healing. The Scripture says, "He cured many who were sick with various diseases, and he drove out many demons, not permitting them to speak because they knew him."During His public ministry, Christ the Lord drove out many unclean spirits. Today, through the presence of the Catholic Church and the grace of the sacraments, He continues cleansing our souls. As temples of the Holy Spirit, we must do our best to expel from our hearts any dysfunctionality that separates us from the Lord. The goal is to be Christified with the truth of divine power. As Bishop Barron says, "Much of Jesus's ministry consisted of teaching people how to see (the kingdom of God), how to hear (the voice of the Spirit), how to walk (overcoming the paralysis of the heart), and how to be free of themselves so as to discover God."Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Many believed it meant that the kingdom of God is attacked by violent people, such as those who killed John the Baptist. But others have interpreted it in the opposite direction, signifying that the "violent" are the spiritually heroic types who resist the traps and temptations of our fallen nature and discipline themselves. We prefer this second interpretation, taking it as an invitation to be soldiers of Christ and warriors of Our Lady of the Rosary. Ave MariaCome, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! No, I tell you, but rather division!"Christ Jesus does bring true peace — peace with God (John 14:27) — but not surface-level harmony or cheap peace. The decision of whether to align with Christ or reject Him often causes division even within families. Friends of the Rosary,Yesterday, in St. Peter's Square, Rome, Pope Leo XIV proclaimed seven new saints, “witnesses who with God's grace, kept the lamp of faith burning.”“They became lamps capable of spreading the light of Christ,” the Holy Father said in his homily.“May their intercession assist us in our trials and their example inspire us in our shared vocation to holiness,” he said.During the canonization Mass, unfolded under a bright Roman sun, the Pope declared the first two Venezuelan saints: St. José Gregorio Hernández Cisneros, known as “the doctor of the poor,” and St. María del Carmen Rendiles Martínez, a religious sister born without her left arm who went on to found the Servants of Jesus in Caracas in 1965.Among the new saints were also two martyrs. St. Peter To Rot, a lay catechist martyred in Papua New Guinea during the Japanese occupation in World War II, became the country's first saint. To Rot defied Japanese authorities who permitted polygamy, defending Christian marriage until his death.St. Ignatius Maloyan, an Armenian Catholic archbishop, was executed during the Armenian genocide after refusing to convert to Islam. “I consider the shedding of my blood for my faith to be the sweetest desire of my heart,” Maloyan said before his death. “If I am tortured for the love of him who died for me, I will be among those who will have joy and bliss, and I will have obtained to see my Lord and my God.”Among the most well-known of the new saints is St. Bartolo Longo, a 19th-century Italian lawyer who was Satanic before returning to the Church with zeal. After his conversion, Bartolo Longo became the Apostle of the Rosary, dedicating his life to promoting the rosary and building the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary in Pompeii, now one of Italy's most beloved Marian pilgrimage sites. In his homily, Pope Leo XVI said that “what is most precious in the Lord's eyes” is “faith, namely, the bond of love between God and man.”“Our relationship with God is of the utmost importance because at the beginning of time he created all things out of nothing and, at the end of time, he will save mortal beings from nothingness,” the pope said. “A world without faith, then, would be populated by children living without a Father, that is, by creatures without salvation.”In addition to Venezuela's St. María del Carmen Rendiles Martínez, the Italian foundress St. Vincenza Maria Poloni was also canonized. Poloni founded the Sisters of Mercy of Verona and is remembered for her tireless service to the poor, even risking her life during the cholera epidemic of 1836.Pope Leo also canonized St. Maria Troncatti, an Italian Salesian sister who spent 44 years as a missionary among the Indigenous Shuar people in Ecuador's Amazon rainforest. Known affectionately as “Madrecita,” or “little mother,” she served as a nurse, surgeon, and catechist with missionary zeal. The canonization coincided with World Mission Sunday. Before praying the Angelus, Pope Leo XIV, who was once an Augustinian missionary himself in Peru, urged the faithful to pray for today's missionaries.Today, October 20, we celebrate the feast day of St. Paul of the Cross.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,On September 27, the Catholic Church commemorates the feast of Saint Vincent de Paul. This 17th-century French priest is recognized as the patron of Catholic charities for his apostolic work for those in need.He was encouraged by the love of Christ to "organize permanent forms of service" to provide for the poor and marginalized, as Pope Benedict XVI noted. In 1605, five years after receiving ordination as a priest and as a tutor to students in Toulouse, during a sea voyage was captured by Turkish pirates and sold into slavery. His ordeal of captivity lasted until 1607, during which time the priest converted his owner to the Christian faith and escaped with him from Tunisia. Afterward, he spent time studying in Rome and moved with compassion for the poor, began undertaking missions and founding institutions to help them both materially and spiritually.Vincent established the Congregation of Priests of the Mission in 1625, as part of an effort to evangelize rural populations and foster vocations to remedy a priest shortage. He also worked with the future Saint Louise de Marillac to organize the Daughters of Charity, the first congregation of women religious whose consecrated life involved an extensive apostolate among the poor, the sick, and prisoners.Doctrinally, Vincent was a strong opponent of Jansenism, a theological heresy that denied the universality of God's love and discouraged reception of the Eucharist. He was also involved in the reform of several religious orders within France.Ave Maria!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! He studied grammar, poetry, literature, rhetoric, dialectics, Scripture, and theology. He also held a profound devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, continually seeking her intercession and seeing her as our Mediatrix and as the Star of the Sea who guides us through the darkness of life. The prayer of the Memorare is attributed to him.He wrote De Consideratione, and many of his sermons are excerpted in the Breviary.Notably, his treatise “On Loving God” articulated the reasons we should love God to an immeasurable degree. In all of his works, Abbot Bernard sought to teach to draw our hearts to conversion and love. He regularly emphasized the personal nature of God as revealed in Jesus Christ, our call to mystical union with Him, the need for humility, the benefits of asceticism, and the central role that the Blessed Virgin Mary must play in our lives. He was a theologian, contemplative, and mystic whose central goals were to love God and to draw others into that same love. Many miracles were attributed to him. Friends of the Rosary,Today, July 31, is the Memorial of St. Ignatius of Loyola (1491-1556).With nine companions—Francis Xavier, among them—Ignatius formed the Jesuits, a society for the service of Jesus, that embarked on missionary activities, the establishment of colleges and universities, and counter-Reformation preaching. The motto of the Company of Jesus: Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam—“For the greater glory of God.”Born in the Kingdom of Navarre, in Spain, after a wayward youth, Ignatius converted in his early thirties. He sought penance and solitude in Manresa, Spain, near Barcelona, where he began to compose his Spiritual Exercises. While he was convalescing, after a cannonball fractured his left leg at the siege of Pamplona, Ignatius read about Christ and His saints and thus turned wholly to God. He then equipped himself for Christ's service by acquiring a good classical and theological education. The members of the Society of Jesus became the shock troops of the Church in the battle against the spread of Protestantism in Europe, as well as one of the greatest foreign mission organizations that the world has known.Ignatius ever desired to suffer far more for the glory of his Lord.According to several pontiffs, God raised up Ignatius and the Society founded by him to oppose Luther and the heretics of his time.He devoted himself unweariedly to gaining souls for God. His power over the demons was wonderful. St. Philip Neri and others saw his countenance shining with heavenly light. He was celebrated for miracles and for his great services to the Church.Pius XI, in response to the prayers of the episcopate, declared him the heavenly patron of all Spiritual Exercises.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Between 1961 and 1965, in the small village of Garabandal, in northern Spain, the Virgin Mary appeared to four girls, who transmitted Marian messages of repentance, prayer, and sacrifice.Conchita, Mari Cruz, Mari Loli, and Jacinta saw the Virgin Mary over 2,000 times during this period. The Holy Virgin interacted with the girls like an authentic mother, winning them over with her tenderness and affectionate gestures. The Immaculata emphasized the importance of the Eucharist and the need for personal conversion and a "divine reset."At the Pines at dusk, the girls read the text of a message:"We must make many sacrifices, do much penance, and visit the Blessed Sacrament. But first, we must be very good. Otherwise, a chastisement will befall us. The cup is already filling up, and if we do not change, a very great chastisement will come upon us."Mary also interacted with the people who came to witness the apparitions, giving each person who went to see the apparitions a sign or proof of her presence. We pray today's Rosary from Garabandal.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Today, July 11, is the feast of St. Benedict (480-547).Born in Nursia, Italy, amid the ashes of the Roman Empire, and educated in Rome, he lived as a hermit and later organized a form of monastic life in twelve small monasteries. Under his guidance, as abbot, the monks vowed to seek God and devoted themselves to work and prayer. A few years later, St. Benedict left Subiaco to found the abbey of Monte Cassino on the heights of Campania, Italy. As his reputation for holiness, wisdom, and miracles spread, disciples flocked. He organized the monks into a single monastic community and wrote his famous Rule, prescribing common sense, moderate asceticism, prayer, study, work, and community life under one superior. It stressed obedience, stability, and zeal. This rule would affect spiritual and monastic life in the West for centuries to come.Seeking first of all the kingdom of God, Benedict summarized in his Rule (IV, 21) his program of life: Nihil amori Christi praeponere. Prefer nothing to the love of Christ.Pope Benedict XVI called St. Benedict a powerful reminder of the indispensable Christian roots of its culture and civilization.”St. Benedict and his sister, St. Scholastica, are buried in Monte Cassino Abbey. We pray today's Rosary holding the Benedict Cross as a Medal.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,At that time, the Lord Jesus appointed seventy-two disciples and sent them in pairs to cure the sick, drive out demons, and proclaim that the Kingdom is at hand, as we read today in the Gospel (Luke 10:1-12, 17-20).“Behold, I am sending you like lambs among wolves. Carry no money bag, no sack, no sandals, and greet no one along the way.”The seventy-two trusted in divine providence and survived among wolves like lambs. They returned from their apostolic mission, rejoicing at their newfound power and saying,"Lord, even the demons are subject to us because of your name."Jesus replied,"I have observed Satan fall like lightning from the sky.Behold, I have given you the power to 'tread upon serpents' and scorpionsand upon the full force of the enemy and nothing will harm you.  Nevertheless, do not rejoice because the spirits are subject to you,but rejoice because your names are written in heaven."We, too, can marvel that the grace of Christ has made us a new creation.Like the apostles and disciples, we are all on a mission given to us by God. Anointed with the Holy Spirit, we must even go against the powers of darkness on this earth, knowing that the gates of the netherworld won't prevail.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,In this Monday of the last week of Easter, we reflect on the joys of the mystery of the Ascension. If we love the Lord Jesus, we must rejoice in His glorification, having finished His earthly Passion. Before leaving them, He said to the apostles, “If you loved Me, you would indeed be glad, because I go to the Father.” It was foretold that Christ should suffer to enter into his glory, and we as servants are not above the Master. Therefore, we must accept the hardships and trials of this life, if we want to receive the crown of glory.Christ, who was sinless, experienced extreme suffering and pain. On our side, we are grateful for the opportunity to make amends for our past offenses by willingly accepting the crosses the Father sends us. These crosses are signs of God's interest in our true healing and purification.Let's pray that our joy supersedes all subjective states of trouble and grief.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,In most countries and ecclesiastical provinces in the U.S., the Seventh Sunday of Easter is today celebrated as the Solemnity of the Ascension of Christ Jesus into heaven, marking the end of His earthly life.Ascending again to His Father, Our Lord preceded us into the heavenly home. This triumphant event fills humans with immense joy as it announces what awaits us.The feast of the Ascension of the Lord in his human nature to the Father is the confirmation of our Christian faith. What we call death is not the end but rather the real beginning to an invisible dimension, with glorified bodies, enjoying a true life of eternal happiness. We are consoled and comforted with the assurance that we will live on forever with our dear ones — which is what all human beings want.Death on earth has separated us from our loved ones temporarily. This break anticipates a new life about to begin. That's what we see when we look up to heaven and observe Christ ascending to His Father and our Father.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New York• June 1, 2025, Today's Rosary on YouTube | Daily broadcast at 7:30 pm ETEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Shortly after the Annunciation and before the birth of St. John the Baptist, we celebrate the Feast of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary to her cousin Elizabeth. This feast of medieval origin includes many key events: the cleansing of John the Baptist from original sin in the womb of his mother at the words of Our Lady's greeting; Elizabeth's proclaiming of Mary—under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit—as Mother of God and "blessed among women"; and Mary's singing of the sublime canticle of praise of the Magnificat, which has become a part of the daily official prayer of the Church. The Holy Virgin proclaimed prophetically that henceforth she would be venerated down through the centuries:"My soul doth magnify the Lord, and my spirit hath rejoiced in God my Savior. Because he that is mighty, hath done great things to me, and holy is His name." (Lk. 1:46).The Visitation is frequently depicted in art and was the central mystery of St. Francis de Sales' devotions. The Mass of today honors Mary, who in her womb bore the King of heaven and earth, the Creator of the world, the Son of the Eternal Father.Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New York• May 31, 2025, Today's Rosary on YouTube | Daily broadcast at 7:30 pm ETEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New! Friends of the Rosary,Like He is doing today, at that time in Galilee, Jesus promised to send the Holy Spirit to guide the Church through time, as we read in the Gospel (John 16:12–15):"I have much more to tell you, but you cannot bear it now. But when he comes, the Spirit of truth, he will guide you to all truth."We all require a divine guide, an advocate, through whom the words of the Father are to be understood. The Holy Spirit reflects the inner life of God and the fullness of life, and the Advocate runs — or should be running — the dynamic of the Church's life across space and time."The Spirit of truth will glorify me, because he will take from what is mine and declare it to you. Everything that the Father has is mine; for this reason, I told you that he will take from what is mine and declare it to you."Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary! Here I am, Lord; I come to do your will. Please give us the grace to respond with joy!+ Mikel Amigot w/ María Blanca | RosaryNetwork.com, New YorkEnhance your faith with the new Holy Rosary University app:Apple iOS | New!
