Been quit the yuk fest last two weeks for Joe and Jacques (SADLY, Biff is on ER this week) - but the numbers of shows they're gone to and a couple nights of watching Joe's Plex till 3am … they might have past the legal limit of laughter allowed. Jacques has had more “booked shows” in the last month then all last year and is hoping his 1 on 1 classes with mentor Mike Koutrobis and working with Jim McCue on HIS podcast and the Boston Comedy Festival (all next week) will lead to more spots coming up. A week after talking to the legendary comedian/actor Tony V (sideshow drops next week), Joe and Jacques saw him at Off Cabot in Beverly MA … very nice intimate setting … oh, and Tony V's BFF … Mr. Shakes The Clown, Bobcat Goldthwait. Arguably the best show they have ever been to together … then week later, they (along with Jacques' favorite sister) saw (friend of the podcast) Steve Bjork take his next special … AND Steve's walk out music was Jacques' bands latest release, Tucker (off the Trump Era EP on Spotify under Dan Cray) Couple nites on Joe's Plex together watching Batman (Adam West), Get Smart, Benny Hill (holds up) … MTV's 1985 year in review, LOTS of 70's game shows … too much fun. Where is Kate Middleton? Whiny dbags on (far right) wanna know what drugs did Sleepy Joe get from Hunter AND will we get dick picks (for the record … we hope so.) On this episode of Portroidcast, I present three flashback roundtable interviews I participated in back in July 2011 at San Diego Comic Con with the original cast of "Batman": Adam West, Julie Newmar, and Burt Ward! I never published these and only just found them on an old recorder I used to use. There is a bit of background noise throughout, which might be one of the reasons I never posted previously, but if you can get around that, they are very enjoyable. (Note: I edited out some small details, like questions that didn't go over well, or Julie Newmar giving me her personal email address (I never contacted her (sorry, Catwoman))) Here are the portroids I took during the interviews (which can be heard on the podcast): Adam West Julie Newmar Burt Ward (accidental double-exposure) Enjoy!

Warning: Jack is drunker than normal due to two days of working on-site at E3. Aaron's still angry about the lack of waffles at Netflix's "Stranger Things" Waffle Breakfast. But hey, at least they finally realized they can do a pretty decent Beavis and Butthead impersonation ... Question: Do you guys really want an eight-hour long episode from us? Like, that's a crazy concept, right? Why would you want that ... but, really though, do you want that? NEWS: The original Batman Adam West passed away at the age of 88 on Saturday, June 10th. The new “DuckTales” will premiere on Disney XD at midnight on August 12th with a 24-hour marathon of the series premiere. But you’ll have to wait until September 23rd for new episodes -- because that date marks the 30th anniversary of the original series. Ryan Murphy has put the pause on “American Crime Story: Hurricane Katrina” to make “The Assassination of Gianni Versace” the show’s official Season 2. Originally, “Katrina” was to mark the show’s second season, and the plan was that both seasons would go into production at the same time. Now it won’t begin shooting until sometime in 2018. “Broad City” will bleep out Donald Trump’s name throughout the duration of Season 4. CNN dropped Reza Aslan’s show “Believer” from their lineup after he posted anti-Trump tweets on his personal Twitter page -- one post called the president a “piece of shit.” CMT is in early talks to revive Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing” because of course, they are. This season of “Bachelor in Paradise” has been shut down due to allegations of sexual misconduct. The “John Wick” TV series will focus on the global chain of assassin hotels, titled “The Continental.” Director Chad Stahelski says the story will focus on the “intricacies of that world” and Keanu Reeves may make a cameo as John Wick but he won’t be the focal point of the series. “You can be with the consigliere, concierge, the sommelier,” He tells IndieWire. “You can be with all these different characters and walk through the world in different aspects; ones that I’m a little limited [from exploring] by staying with my lead guy.” BBC America announced “Luther” will be returning for Season 5. It’ll be four episodes and won’t begin filming until late 2018. This week’s song is called “Laughter is Everything to Me” and was written for my old mate Pauline Daniels back in the day. Pauline has a great voice but she decided to turn to comedy (and did very well) so I wrote this song for her act…the lyrics get the message over and she sings it great ….I used to enjoy recording with her as she was such a good laugh. She hasn’t been too well of late but I think she has recovered…. Sad to hear of the death of Christopher Lee….he was the ONLY Dracula….this was the first horror film I ever saw…I was 13 and sneaked in (as it was an X)…I have never been so frightened…I saw it TWICE and still got the jitters even when I knew what was coming…a classic film. He was one of those characters who made the part his…there is only ONE Superman…Christopher Reeve….only one Batman…Adam West…and only one real James Bond…Sean Connery…all the others are imposters….speaking of Batman… Adam West was doing a book signing in Liverpool in the 90s so I popped along got in the queue bought his book got it signed and shook his hand…I couldn’t resist and said “I’d like to thank you for all the good work you did in Gotham City”…he said “..sure thing” and instantly dismissed me….but I shook Batman’s hand !!!!! 3.The Government are talking about banning homework from junior schools….I didn’t even know they did homework…we never did (which probably explains a lot). They reckon it is making youngsters stressed…I couldn’t agree more…mid you these days they would spend their time on their computers and mobiles…I say ban homework and force them to play out in the street…then they might learn how to enjoy life. There is a move afoot to prosecute nuisance callers who constantly try to sell you things over the phone…it apparently affects a lot of older folk who feel intimidated. This is a good move and needs sorting….personally I never have a problem as I have an instant two word response (which I can’t repeat…but I think you can guess)…it seems to work….one guy suggested answering in an Icelandic accent asking them to constantly repeat the question…but I haven’t got that sort of time…my way takes 2 seconds. 5.The news has been covering (so to speak) the girl who had her picture taken naked on the top of a Malaysian mountain …very strange…the locals have accused her of offending the mountain Gods…and could cause an earthquake…..I’m sure the young lady meant no harm but it’s a strange situation when looked at through Western eyes…I’m all for respecting the beliefs of others…it’s a shame some of the immigrants who come into this country don’t feel the same.
