Plus, we talked about the U.S. election's impact on Bitcoin policy, the potential for a U.S. Bitcoin reserve, and even the wild idea of Bitcoin-powered “freedom cities.”This episode is packed with insights on sovereign adoption, the future of Bitcoin in traditional markets, and why Matthew keeps coming back to El Salvador to learn from the people and the policies shaping its Bitcoin revolution. It's WON Hall of Fame season and this is the first of our shows examining this year's candidates. We're happy to welcome back Greg Klein (@jydbook) to discuss his advocacy of two people in particular, the Junkyard Dog and Houston promoter Morris Sigel. We go over both candidates in detail, including JYD's drawing power in Mid-South and New Orleans in particular, his time as a main eventer versus his later career, the cultural implications of JYD's push and his feuds, comparing him candicacy to Paul Orndorff, Sigel promoting Houston for 40+ years, the scope of the Texas wrestling office and how that compares to Roy Welch in the Southeast, wrestlers who got their break in Houston, the Texas Wrestling War and more. We also go over the rest of the ballot discussing things like “should tag team longevity count in dog years,” lack of footage for pre-territory wrestlers, voting for still-active competitors on the ballot and comparing candidates to their baseball equivalents. Be sure to check out Greg on some other wrestling podcasts this HOF season. The more discussions on worthy candidate, the better.
In this episode of Healthy Mind, Healthy Life, host Sana sits down with Jeff Sigel, author of The Middle Matters and experienced corporate coach, to explore how middle managers can thrive by shifting from an achiever to a learner mindset. Jeff shares insights from his 20+ years of corporate experience and offers actionable strategies to help middle managers lead effectively, influence others, and create impactful work environments. About the Guest: Jeff Sigel is a seasoned corporate coach, consultant, and author dedicated to empowering middle managers. With over two decades of experience, Jeff's book, The Middle Matters, serves as a toolkit for those navigating the complex responsibilities of middle management. Key Takeaways: Learner vs. Achiever Identity: Achievers define themselves by milestones, but this often leads to dissatisfaction. Embracing a learner identity fosters growth and continuous improvement. Middle Management Framework: Middle managers must balance doing, leading, and influencing. Building credibility, developing team capacity, and learning from others are essential. Learning in Action: Every task, even routine ones, should be approached with a mindset of learning and finding ways to improve efficiency. Organizational Support: Companies need to recognize the distinct skills required for middle management and provide the necessary training and development.

• Jeff Sigel calls for better work environments and more fulfilling careers for middle managers • Take 20 minutes for ideas on bolstering your middle managers Middle managers have it tough. They are caught between, well, just about everything. Middle managers are directing work and they are performing work—and the dual nature of these roles can be challenging. Jeff Sigel says he has answers tested in companies of all sizes that create better work environments and more fulfilling careers for middle managers. He shares some of those ideas in this episode of Bizgnus Interviews. “Mddle managers often find their job so difficult because they don't really understand their role is actually three different roles at the same time,” Mr. Sigel says. “Most people find the job so hard because they never get explained that leading other people is actually a real part of the job.” Mr. Sigel is principal onsultant for Proprioceptive LLC, a consultancy focused on turning strategy into action by developing middle management excellence. He is author of the new book, “The Middle Matters: A Toolkit for Middle Managers.” For more information: https://jeffsigel.com/

Suicide is the second leading cause of death for children, adolescents and young adults ages 10 to 24. Roughly 7% to 8% of adolescents attempt suicide each year and 17% report significant suicidal ideation. However, while so many kids are affected, diagnosing them isn't so simple. “We know the numbers have climbed significantly. If you look at the trends, we're probably nearly double what we were 20 years ago,” Eric Sigel, MD, says. In this episode, we shine a light on how to clinically identify youth at risk for suicide and determine if they have access to lethal means, such as firearms or medications. In addition, we will discuss evidence-based approaches to reduce or eliminate access to lethal means. That includes counseling and safe storage device distribution. Our guest, Dr. Sigel, specializes in adolescent medicine at Children's Hospital Colorado. He is the lead for firearm injury prevention, as well as a professor of pediatrics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. In addition, he serves as co-chair of the American Academy of Pediatrics firearm injury prevention special interest group. “I think it's an incredible privilege to sit down with a teenager, hear their story and understand a little bit what they may be going through, while being able to help them figure out a better direction to avoid harm,” Dr. Sigel says. This episode was recorded at the 2023 American Academy of Pediatrics National Conference and Exhibition. Some highlights from this episode include: The prominence of adolescent suicide in today's society Approaches to suicidal identification in a clinical setting How a change in easy firearm access can prevent suicide Evidence on counseling and safe storage of firearms For more information on Children's Colorado, visit: childrenscolorado.org

An image of what some are calling 'black magic' appeared on the side of a Ukrainian artillery headquarters last week. Upon detailed analysis, one can find the runes Sigel (victory, lightning, sun) and Kenaz/Kano (strength, protection, fire), along with serpents in the image. The Sigel had become known as the 'z' on the side of Russian tanks. The base of the 'black symbol' is found in the sigil of Jupiter/Zeus, the marking of the Solomonic demon Decarabia (gives knowledge of plants, herbs, and controls birds), and the signature of the Voodoo Loa Bossu Trois Cornes (a protector in war). A symbol of ancient Chinese sorcery, the KU, is also found in the same symbol, a practice using poisonous snakes like those within the sigil. In the image is also the word "zein", which is the 7th Hebrew letter for the word 'sword'. Zeins are also the most abundant protein found in corn. The Loa Bossu Trois Cornes clearly has the word 'corn' in his name. Seven is the number of the head and a sword alongside represents decapitation. Historically, agricultural societies 'killed the king' or decapitated a god in the fall and then turned crops into bread and wine. This god was resurrected in spring. Such a symbol could also represent an inversion of such tradition, decapitating the king of grain in the spring, which would lead to mass starvation. April-May is not only the culmination of the burning season of Beltane, leading to Walpurgis and May Day, but the planting season in Ukraine which is a breadbasket of the world. The overall themes are energy, like that of oil or food, victory, fire, and protection in times of war. From Z and Zeus/Jupiter to his brother Poseidon/Neptune, we find the Trident of the latter on the Ukrainian flag and that Ukraine also used Neptune missiles to sink a Russian ship supposedly carrying a piece of the cross of Christ. It seems that instead of turning plowshares into swords, the opposite is occurring as part of a larger ritual using occult symbols to bring about a cataclysm.
