They are the Low-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins. John talks about playing HS baseball in New Jersey while broadcasting different sports at his school. Then pursuing the craft at the University of Maryland. He talks about his time working at MLB Network and the people he was able to learn from before calling pro games in the booth. Of course we had to touch on some of the prospects he was able to watch every day while he was broadcasting for the Charlotte Stone Crabs (Single A Tampa Bay Rays) before Ft. This is from Faye.Today we talk about changes in the Maloney marriage as Faye's Parkinson's will continue to progress and how these two are navigating these neurodivergences with grace and compassion to each other through education, equipping, and learning new effective strategies for their marriage.About our guests:Robert and Faye Maloney were raised in California, where they met and eventually married and established their family. With their move to North Carolina in 2001, they raised their two boys, one on the spectrum and one with ADHD. In 2018, Faye was diagnosed with Parkinson's, and they decided a move to Florida would be best for healthy, outdoor living. Robert attained a Bachelor's and MBA in Finance and had a 27-year career with Bank of America. He retired in 2016 to pursue a new field of executive coaching. He is active in leading ministries, including, men's groups and experience teams at Next Level Church in Ft Myers, FL. Faye attained a bachelor's degree in Business, and later a Master's Degree in Gerontology. Early on, she held corporate positions in telecommunications, and spent the majority of her career in staff positions at her church, homeschooling her two boys, along with being a Real Estate Broker. Faye actively mentors women in her church, and leads small groups, as the current group focused on discovering the author within those who have a passion to write.

Myers holds a special place in the game of baseball as we have Holly Shaffer who is the Program Manager at the Edison Ford Estates and has an incredible knowledge of the history that has taken place in that area - which even has ties to Roberto Clemente - check out the history Holly has for us.

On todays episode we talk with Capt. Brant Peacher of AnglerUp with Brant out of Pensacola, FL. He tells us that so far this year, this is the best fishing week he has seen. We talk about some of the fish he has seen come to the dock and tells us a little about his own in shore Red Snapper opening day. We also get a report of good Tarpon numbers from the pier as well as Mahi. We spend a few minutes talking about snook fishing in the surf in SW Florida. Brant is in route to spend the week in Ft Myers to chase line siders on the beach, so its always fun to talk about some of the species that are available locally.
