Our card this week is Donna Martin, the 8 of Hearts from Florida. Donna Martin was stabbed and killed in her own home in south Florida back in 1999. And police believed that the man who may have killed her was the very same man who had turned Boca Raton into a hunting ground. But police have been unable to pin Donna's murder on him. That suspect even went to prison for other crimes, but now he's a free man. And police believe solving Donna's murder could help save other women in Florida. If you were attacked in the Boca Raton, Delray Beach, or Deerfield Beach areas in the 1980s or 1990s, and you think you may have been a victim of David Miller, you can call Crime Stoppers of Palm Beach County with tips at 1-800-458-8477 or reach out to Sgt. William Springer at SpringerW@pbso.org.Police are also interested in speaking with anyone who believes they may have had something stolen by David Miller that could have been recovered in the search of his property or who may have seen Miller around Donna's apartment complex the evening of her murder.View source material and photos for this episode at: thedeckpodcast.com/donna-martin Let us deal you in… follow The Deck on social media.Instagram: @thedeckpodcast | @audiochuckTwitter: @thedeckpodcast_ | @audiochuckFacebook: /TheDeckPodcast | /audiochuckllcTo support Season of Justice and learn more, please visit seasonofjustice.org.The Deck is hosted by Ashley Flowers. Though a controversial figure due to his widely publicized legal troubles, XXXTentacion gained a cult following among his young fanbase during his short career with his depression- and alienation-themed music. Critics and fans often credit him for his musical versatility, with his music exploring emo, trap, trap metal, nu metal, indie rock, lo-fi, hip hop, R&B, and punk rock. He is considered to be a leading figure in the establishment of the emo rap and SoundCloud rap genres, which garnered mainstream attention during the mid-to-late 2010s.Born in Plantation, Florida, XXXTentacion spent most of his childhood in Lauderhill. He began writing music after being released from a juvenile detention center and soon started his music career on SoundCloud in 2013, employing styles and techniques that were unconventional in rap music such as distortion and heavy guitar-backed instrumentals, drawing inspiration from third-wave emo and grunge. In 2014, he formed the underground collective Members Only and alongside other members of the collective soon became a popular figure in SoundCloud rap, a trap music scene that takes elements of lo-fi music and harsh 808s. XXXTentacion gained mainstream attention with the single "Look at Me". His debut album 17 (2017) is certified triple-platinum in the US and reached number two on the Billboard 200. His second album ? (2018) debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and is certified quintuple-platinum in the US. The attackers fled the scene in an SUV after stealing his Louis Vuitton bag containing $50,000 in cash. Four suspects were arrested and charged with first-degree murder among other charges. In August 2022, one of the four men pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in exchange for testimony against the other three defendants in their trial. The trial initiated on February 7, 2023. On March 20, 2023, all three were found guilty on all counts. On April 6, 2023, they were sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole.XXXTentacion has RIAA-certified sales of 61 million units in the US and BPI-certified sales of over 7 million units in the UK, bringing his total to 68 million certified records sold in the two countries. Since his death, he has won an American Music Award and a BET Hip Hop Award and received 11 Billboard Music Award nominations. This is the XXXTentacion - Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy - Gone 2 Soon podcast. In the vast landscape of modern music, few figures shone as brightly, or burned out as quickly, as Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, known to the world as XXXTentacion. Born amidst the palm fronds and sun-kissed skies of Plantation, Florida, on January 23, 1998, Jahseh was a meteoric talent who soared across the musical horizon, leaving a trail of beauty, controversy, and sorrow in his wake. From the tender age of 15, the young bard found solace and expression in music, weaving his internal tempests into verses and beats. His early affinity for music was birthed under the influences of legendary figures like Tupac Shakur and the audacious rhythms of bands like Papa Roach. Jahseh, like many prodigies, was a rebel from the start, detesting the confinement of musical notes and patterns. His heart beat to a different drum, one that resonated with the raw and unfiltered emotions of life's tumults. His venture into the musical realms commenced on the fertile grounds of SoundCloud in 2013, where his unique blend of emo, trap, and punk rock found a resonant echo among a generation grappling with the intricacies of identity and existence. His music, a cauldron of dark, introspective lyrics and an eclectic blend of genres, resonated with the hearts of many, forging a cult following that clung to the threads of his melancholic melodies and the authenticity of his narrative.Jahseh's artistic journey was a quest for light within darkness, a quest mirrored in his own turbulent life. The world bore witness to his battles with legal tribulations, most notably the battery charges of 2016 that cast a long shadow over his fledgling career. Yet, amidst the storm, his music was a balm to many souls, offering a glimpse of understanding, a shard of communal belonging in the vast sea of societal alienation. His albums “17” and “?”, showcased not just a remarkable musical prowess but a profound understanding of human emotions, earning accolades and sky-rocketing on the Billboard charts. Yet, the zenith of his career was paralleled by a nadir in his personal life. On a fateful summer day in 2018, the life of Jahseh was tragically snuffed out in a hail of bullets in Deerfield Beach, Florida, leaving a gaping void in the hearts of his legion of followers. The murder trial that ensued was a somber reflection of the violence that claimed his life, ending with a verdict of life imprisonment for the accused. A stark reminder of the frail thread of existence that binds us all.Despite the melancholy that surrounded his life and death, Jahseh's legacy continues to reverberate through the annals of music and the hearts of his admirers. His posthumous accolades, including a Billboard Music Award and a BET Award, are mere tokens of his indelible impact on the music industry and his unyielding relevance to his fans. Moreover, his brief foray into acting, with credits in "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", "Exit", and "We Are Who We Are", showcased a budding talent tragically curtailed. As the sun sets on the saga of XXXTentacion, we are left with the echoes of his music, a bittersweet melody that transcends the vicissitudes of his short-lived journey. Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, the enigmatic, troubled, and undeniably gifted artist, remains etched in the annals of music, a poignant reminder of the transient, yet powerful nature of existence – a melody of promise, pain, and transcendence that continues to serenade the hearts of the lost and the hopeful.Thank you for listening and be sure to check out the other Gone 2 soon podcasts, by searching Gone the number two and the word soon. that is Gone 2 soon, where ever you get your podcasts. This show is part of the Spreaker Prime Network, if you are interested in advertising on this podcast, contact us at https://www.spreaker.com/show/5997049/advertisement

As we launch 2023 Daniel Wakefield, renowned photographer chats reflecting your personal brand in a business profile. Hear the importance of capturing genuine expression to best present the face you show the business world. Daniel also chats thoughts on capturing video content to use in ever-changing marketing needs.Daniel Wakefield, Owner / Photographer of Top-Tier Headshots started life in Canada but moved around several areas in the U.S. growing up. Daniel and his wife Bethany moved to south Florida in 2015 and it was there that his passion for wildlife photography was born. Daniel's wildlife work has been published in several books, magazines and awarded in several prestigious wildlife photography competitions including Top 100 in Audubon Bird Photography, 2018 and Top 15 in Africa Geographic Photographer of the Year, 2020. Daniel is renowned for his skill in photographing people and capturing genuine expression. Early in his photographic journey, Daniel recognized that people often have very forced expressions when you tell them to “smile.” However, when the photographer can get people to relax in front of the camera, not only do they enjoy the experience more, they also come away with images that showcase genuine expression. This interest in capturing genuine expression was heightened when Daniel began training with Peter Hurley and HeadshotCrew. Peter is widely considered to be the best headshot photographer in the world and learning from him took Daniel's headshot photography to the next level. Daniel is an Associate Photographer of Peter Hurley and a two-time Headshot of the Week winner. In July 2022, Daniel Wakefield opened his brand-new commercial studio in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Daniel lives in Deerfield Beach, Florida with Bethany and their four beautiful children.

She started dance classes at a young age, and eventually found her way to yoga, earning multiple certifications in yoga in different modalities such as pre-natal yoga, yin yoga, yoga dance, and other forms of yoga. Melissa also offers healing energy work through Reiki. She currently teaches at the Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach, the Meditate School of Mindfulness and at Beyond Transformation and supports the Lucky Fin Project, nonprofit organization working to raise awareness and celebrate children and individuals born with symbrachydactyly or other limb differences (upper, lower, congenital, and amputee). Melissa shares her story of being born with a limb difference and how that never stopped her from doing anything she felt called to. Melissa also shared some valuable insights around the language that we use around people with limb differences as well as what we as yoga teachers need to know when someone with a limb difference attends our classes. This is a great opportunity to learn more about people with limb differences and how we can better serve them in our classes.
