Today’s topic is one that is not widely talked about but many have experienced. It’s a message about miscarriage and the promise from God’s word that best helped me during my miscarriage and in the years after as my heart hurt for the child I did not get to hold, love and raise.

God is always there for us even during the hard times. In today’s episode, I look back on a time in my life that from the human standpoint was a dark time but from a spiritual standpoint it was where I grew the most spiritually.

In the intricate tapestry of intimate relationships, we often encounter forces that seem to disrupt harmony and provoke deep emotional or spiritual upheavals. These challenges, sometimes experienced as "relationship demons," can appear as overwhelming adversarial energies that push individuals to the brink. However, could it be possible that these very forces, though seemingly dark and destructive, are divinely permitted for the purpose of profound growth? The thesis that "the Devil sent them, but God ok'd the experience for your greater good" invites us to reconsider the trials we face in relationships through a deeply metaphysical, theological, and psychological lens. By drawing on the works of spiritual, philosophical, and psychological giants, this essay explores whether the relationship challenges we experience are, in fact, divinely ordained tests meant to elevate us to new levels of consciousness and self-realization.

When we read the Word of God out loud, sometimes the Holy Spirit brings a passage to life in a whole new way. Romans 8 is not traditionally considered an Advent message, but when it's read aloud and set in the context of Christmas and why Jesus came in the first place, another layer of meaning emerges and a bigger glimpse of God's love for us appears. You're invited to sit back, close your eyes, and restfully seek His presence as you listen to this short, dramatic reading of selected verses from Romans 8 in The Passion Translation. Merry Christmas to all Glimmers in the Fog listeners! May you experience the gift of Jesus and the peace He offers in new ways this Advent season!
Proper time management helps to get more things done in a shorter time, which ultimately gives you more free time to enjoy activities and people you actually care about. In this weeks episode we discuss the steps we’ve taken to practice better time management and overcoming the struggles we have with not meeting our self imposed expectations. Here are a few tips for time management and to eliminate unnecessary amount of stress . Set realistic goalsBe honest with yourself of what you’re actually capable of doing. Don’t add on more than you can efficiently and properly finish/conduct.2.Don’t stress a missed deadlineWe impose strict deadlines for ourselves and when we don’t meet them we beat ourselves up about it. Instead of doing that save it for the next day3.Designate blocks of timeCreating time blocks for certain tasks helps us to stay focused on one thing at a time. Sometimes our thoughts start to drift on other things. Refocus your mind on what is in front of you until its completed or the selected time frame has come to an end.
