In this deeply moving and inspiring episode, Walter Boldish the founder of I GOT U steps behind the mic to share his story and brand, as the heartbeat of a powerful movement. He opens up about the creation of the I GOT U platform — a brand born from the shadows of tragedy. Having lost his young daughter suddenly he has to learn to overcome the odds and reshape his life as his purpose transforms into a radiant philosophy of love, inclusion, and unwavering presence to others. With raw honesty and profound vulnerability, Walter shares how heartache became the catalyst for a greater mission on this planet. What began in the darkest of times has now become a way of life dedicated to walking with others — a way built on respect, kindness, teamwork, and the healing power of human connection. Even more than a brand, I GOT U is a promise: to show up, to support, and to never let anyone journey alone. This episode isn't just a story. It's an invitation to live with compassion, to lead with love, to foster inclusion, and to embody a spirit of sportsmanship in every arena of life. Walter's story is a testament to what's possible when pain is met with purpose — and when we choose to stand by each other, no matter what.Sometimes the greatest strength is simply showing up for someone and saying: I GOT U.”Listen now and discover why I GOT U isn't just a phrase — it's a way of life.Learn more about I GOT U by visiting https://www.igotu.net/ and their social media @igotuofficial on social media.#podcast #lifetothefullestpodcast #ef3life #igotu #inspiration #motivation #overcome #journey #impact #believe #love #help #care #kindness #perseverance #mentality #mindset #wayoflife #mission

Thanks for 100K Streams on I GOT U
Timucin Lam, known professionally as Jax Jones, is a DJ, record producer and remixer. He rose to prominence in 2014 by featuring on Duke Dumont's number-one single "I Got U". Jax Jones is a trailblazer in the music industry - he has 8 UK Top 10 singles, 8 UK platinum singles, over 60 million single sales and a staggering 10 billion global audio streams. He's also been honoured with multiple Grammy, Brti and Ivor Novello nominations and has worked with legends like Whitney Houston, Ed Sheeran, Diana Ross, RAYE and Mark Ronson. I absolutely LOVED this conversation with Jax. We talked a lot about his upbringing - how being abandoned as a baby fuelled his drive to succeed and make a name for himself. But also how that's shaped his relationships and impacted his mental health.
With over 500 million streams on Spotify, 2 UK numbers 1s and 3 UK Top 10 hits.plus one grammy nomination, Kelli-Leigh is an artist, a creative , a label owner but above all possesses one of the finest voices this country has ever produced. From singing backing vocals for Leona Lewis, Adele and Jessie J through to being the voice of hits including "I Got U" with Duke Dumont and "More Than Friends' with James Hype alongside her superb original material all released independently through her own label, KL is one of the hardest working people I know. Here's she talks through where that drive comes from including being physically stopped momentarily by a car accident which eventually allowed her the time to consider her future and the pure joy derived from her Christmas EP released this week including what I believe to be a song that is up there with Leona and Mariah "Underneath The Tree' and new single "Unwrap My Heart" which is equally magical. Please enjoy this wonderful episode and follow Kelli-Leigh at https://www.instagram.com/kellileighuk/ https://open.spotify.com/playlist/37i9dQZF1DZ06evO08OZ0s?si=5dd8eedd636040d6
Not to be dramatic, but journaling has changed my f*cking life (& I want that for you - so let's get into it ALL). Ever since sharing my morning routine & the different things it's made up of, you guys frequently ask me HOW THE F*CK to journal, how to even start, what to write, how long do I write for?, how do I know what to write about, how to make it a habit, the list goes on. I hope this episode breaks it down for you & inspires you to try it in some way, shape, or form. My favorite part is at the end (but listen to the whole thing OR UR GONNA MISS THE GUIDE) where I talk about how I journal for manifesting the shit out of everything I want. Lmk if we want part two, I GOT U. Tag me in your journaling stories, in your morning routine stories, in your anything stories I WANNA COME HYPE YOU UP. COME SAY HI: @lisaxgilmore @unwinedingpod @emmeclub Love u guys, see u next week (with a guest I promise) x

Rebecca Ann Epstein is known to lovers of her music as RAE where her message of Remain Always Empowered shines through in her words and voice and, as described in this episode, in her actions too. When a close confidante passed at a pivotal time in her life, hear how he sent an unmistakable sign that not only validated where she had been up to that point but where she should go next. RAE also discusses how, on the day after her grandfather passed, a coincidental meeting in her own driveway led to a powerful friendship that has bridged the generational gap and confirmed, once again, that souls who were meant to meet always will. We always learn something from every friendship and it's how our souls evolve. Now part of the duo known as Rose Colored World, check out RAE and Addison on Instagram @rcwofficial and listen to their latest single, I Got U, wherever you stream music. It's intended to be a bit reflective with a lot of bouncy fun you'd expect from a Pride celebration. This set draws from future house hits of the past few years (What I Did For Love, Go All Night, I Got U, Real Love, Hustlin') to current hits like the fabulously funky Air Miles by Me & My Toothbrush and the disco hit taken from the HBO series Vinyl, Kill the Lights. Of course, the big winners here are modern-day bootleg re-edits of Gloria Gaynor's definitive anthem I Will Survive, Diana Ross' proclamation anthem I'm Coming Out to Madonna's everyday celebratory Holiday. Sandwich these with plain ole fun modern twists of Shannon's Let the Music Play, Vicetone's Hawt Stuff (think Donna Summer), 2 B Real (think Cheryl Lynn), Daft Punk's Around the World, and George Michael's Fast Love and you got yourself one big-ass Pride throw-down. For now, we don't let the shit-news of the week keep us down. Instead, we get LOUDER and PROUDER making our voices heard! IT'S TIME TO CELEBRATE! Happy Pride Everybody! We’re proud to present the new issue from DISCOPOLIS. It’s Twenty Fifteen and it will be your guide to the upcoming year. As you know we’ve been working on a new different taste since our Summer 2013 release so you’ll still have the classic Nu Disco within the first mix but the future Deep House within the second one. THE NU MIX starts with one of the artist of our beloved Duke Dumont’s label Blasé Boys Club, ‘Go Deep’ by Jax Jones, who was featured on Duke’s previous hit ‘I Got U’. We have Bondax’s tropical vibes with ‘All I See’, one of the Nu Disco tracks of the Summer. The 2 Bears (Joe Goddard & Raf Rundell) are about to release their new album and we need to show you how it’s gonna sound so you can find their new fabulous single ‘Not This Time’ here (which has a excellent video too, check it out). It’s important to highlight one of the songs of the past season, ‘Colourblind’ by Les Loups, a classy but catchy track. James Curds brings classic sounds from House and he remixes ‘Whenever’ by Hotlane and presents his new track ‘Say The Words To You’ for those who love late 90s house basslines. Then we’ll go back to 80s with The Young Punx & Louis La Roche and the retouch Mitch Murder made for Kiesza’s ‘Hideaway’. At the end of the mix the sounds get relaxed again with Walter Sobcek x Oxford, the amazing remix Yathzel made for Pekin Duk’s ‘High’, Keljet for Ji Nilsson’s ‘Heartbreakfree’, one of the best tracks of the year and the remixer to watch, Kygo, retouching Ed Sheeran’s ‘I See Fire’. THE FUTURE MIX is for being played very loud with the best Hi-Fi System you have in your house. Chase & Status produced the first track, ‘Your Love’ by Moko and when you hear it you will know the 90s have never died. But this is only the beginning because with the second one we’re going even harder. As we said before, we loooove Blasé Boys Club and its headman Duke Dumont so here you are the banger ‘Won’t Look Back’. If this song is not the first one of the mix it’s only because you couldn’t be ready without warming up. You will find some old friends like Blonde, Kiesza again but this time remixed by Billon, Gorgon City with ‘Unmissable’, The Magician with ‘Sunlight’, MØ remixed by Kant or Le Youth & Javeon’s ‘Feel Your Love’. But if the only thing you want to do is get crazy with the maddest basslines then check ’90’s Baby’ by Redlight, ‘You Got To’ by the legend guys Groove Armada, the remix Grant Nelson made for Sam Smith’s ‘I’m Not The Only One’ or one of the acts who was featured in our first release back in 2009, Treasure Fingers teaming up with Bosco with the smash ‘Names’. Don’t miss up Kulkid, one of the artists to watch this year. He touches Coolio’s ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’ and turns it into a golden dancefloor track. But he’s not the only one doing magic with his remixes, Nico & Vinz’s ‘Am I Wrong’ gets revisited by TS7 (with free download from his Soundcloud page) and bring us the best possible finale. THE NU MIX JAX JONES - Go Deep BONDAX - All I See TOMAS BARFOD feat. Alright summer is here! That means lots of time outside, in the pool, and by the grill which obviously necessitates all kinds of new music. Today I have for you a sampling of different directions to go when you start thinking about what kind of summer music mix you are looking to go for. This is really one of my favorite types of podcasts. I've got the newest sounds I'm jamming combined with classics from my past. I actually had to order two physical compact discs because I couldn't find the albums digitally!! For me, last summer was all about the amazing albums from Quantic and Jungle mixed in with some afro funk and high life. Something tells me I am going to be doing some recycling of those but there are many solid additions to get into.As I write this I am remembering that I completely forgot to put a track from Clean Bandit on the mix. My bad!! Here's the track I was gonna use. "Come Over" Without it, the mix is missing that taste of dancehall, which is a summer must. They were amazing at Coachella. Watching them from the shade of the palm trees while they owned the mid day main stage is the definition of an ideal Coachella moment. I'll make it up to them on a podcast soon but you should check out their album New Eyes. Classically trained band playing their version of house music. So good. Links referenced in the podcast:Awesome unofficial Kaytranada videoThomas Mapfumo on Afropop Worldwide #1Thomas Mapfumo on Afropop Worldwide #2As a side note, I really try to keep all comments on the podcast positive but I must share my complete disdain for Adobe Audition's recording. I switched over from Audacity around podcast 30 or so because the sound processing tools were a little better. While I may still use it for post processing, never again will I trust it for recording the voice over. This is the second time that upon closing, Audition not only deleted all the temp files but also the sound files I had saved, multiple times. Searching around on the internet, I found I am not the only person to run into this serious issue. And even worse, this is the second time it's happened to me. Shame on me. Luckily, this time I had already exported a draft so I didn't have to rerecord the whole podcast but it means I didn't get to go back and balance all the levels just right, fix some plosives, etc... Anyway, if I hadn't said anything you probably wouldn't have noticed but I don't want any of y'all to run into this same problem. Use something else for recording. Now let's pump the positivity and get the jams goin!!Thanks for listening and don't forget to support the artists,Aaronaaron@activelistenerpodcast.com Tracklist (these are links to buy the songs)1.Mabasa (Work) by Thomas Mapfumo on Mabasa2.Dancing On Quicksand by Bad Suns on Language & Perspective3.The Boys of Summer by The Ataris on So Long, Astoria4.Too Drunk to F*** by Nouvelle Vague on Nouvelle Vague5.Let It Carry You by José González on Vestiges & Claws6.Far Nearer by Jamie xx on Far Nearer / Beat For - EP7.Helios ft. The fourth volume of the Top Dance Songs of 2014 highlights some of the most memorable house music tracks that captured our hearts and moved our feet. The summer was set alight with Klingande's feel-good anthem 'Jubel', while Duke Dumont took us on a nostalgic trip back to the 90s with 'I Got U'. 2014 was undeniably a stellar year for house music, and the tracks featured in our list are proof of this remarkable trend. From the rise to prominence of Disclosure, who gifted us with hits such as 'F For You' and 'Latch', to the impressive debut of Canada's Kieza with 'Hideaway', the Top Dance Songs of 2014 underscored the resurgence of house music and its sub-genres - deep house, nu-disco, and indie dance - into the mainstream consciousness. After more than a decade, house music has reclaimed its spot at the top, echoing what house-heads have always known: House music reigns supreme! As we approach the end of the year, Party Favorz continues its mission to get everyone on their feet, celebrating with the best dance tracks of the year. Until next year...ENJOY! Probably the single most important aspect of EDM in 2014 is the DJ. In general, DJs are more than what their title implies. They are also, producers and artists in their own right. While many get their satisfaction by spinning in local clubs, a good many more regenerate and/or reinvigorate other musicians music by adding their own stamp on the original production. Thank the EDM gods for bootlegs because, without them, the whole scene would be one giant cookie cutter factory and frankly, I wouldn't be wasting my breath here and now. Then there are the actual EDM masters who not only re-work others music but produce their own original dance works and embark on these massive tours that resemble a rock concert complete with pyrotechnics and imagery that rivals even Madonna's tour spectacles. While most manage to etch out a decent living, it's these masters at their craft that have gone on to become mega-million generating entities in and of themselves. Tiesto (which these days is all about branding and ghost producers), Angello + Ingrosso (formerly Swedish House Mafia less one), Avicii, Calvin Harris and even a douche like Deadmau5 (whose gimmicky glowing mouse-head is still a money-factory) are part of a growing elite whose influence in the industry has the almighty major labels courting them. In some instances, the major labels have sought out young promising talent and turned them into superstars. Zedd is a perfect example of this. Busting out strong in 2013, he continued his influence this year with his signature sound that even he is trying to break away from. Based on some early tweets, look for something fresh and new from him in 2015. I for one am looking forward to seeing what he has up his sleeves. Newcomer Martin Garrix exploded this year with his EDM blockbuster Animals. Duke Dumont lead the 90s house music revival with I Got U. The Chainsmokers exploded with #Selfie and are now the in-demand producers for a lot of commercial artists not to mention producing their own originals like Kanye (another hit from the year). Then you've got Norwegian producer Cosmic Dawn whose sanitized EDM-pop remixes appeal to a broader audience. There's no doubt this guy (much like Calvin Harris) manufactures ear-candy for the masses and have carved out their own niche of this ever-growing pie. Despite a recent critique of mine about a song Bjorn (CD) remixed, it was really aimed more at the actual song by a self-entitled princess than it was at him. He weighed in and defended his choice but did it with class. I just want to reciprocate by saying I have nothing but respect for him and his work and look forward to hearing more from him in 2015. Last year's DJ Laszlo and Danny Verde came charging into 2014, but by the second half, their output has been considerably more restrained. I can only assume their mass popularity has them busy hopping around the globe limiting their time for new productions. No sweat there, I'm certain they know where the money's at and what pays the bills LOL. Still, I look forward to some new tunes from them this coming year as well. I've also been pouring over my list of DJs to look out for in 2015 and this year I'm gonna prop up Guy Scheiman. Guy has already landed three of the top Billboard mixes this year and is likely on to bigger and better things this next year. Straddling the line between Circuit House and a more progressive EDM tone, he's managed to revive (whether intentional or not) the classic Stock Aitken Waterman sound from the 80s by infusing it with today's modern tribal-electric soundscape and introducing it to a whole new audience. His mix of Azealea Banks Chasing Time is masterful and simply mind-blowing. He is crafting a sound that draws from today's scene while staking out his own territory. Expect more copycats in 3, 2, 1 … I'd be remiss if I didn't give notice to one of the most influential and talented DJ/producers who have established a rema...

These DJs are more than just spinners of records; they're producers, artists, and influencers in their own right. Foremost among them are EDM stalwarts like Tiesto, Angello + Ingrosso, Avicii, Calvin Harris, and Deadmau5, whose concert spectacles have turned them into multi-million-dollar entities. Newcomers like Martin Garrix with 'Animals' and Duke Dumont with 'I Got U' also made a strong impact, contributing to the Top Dance Songs for 2014. Major labels propelled young talents like Zedd into the limelight, while producers like Cosmic Dawn and The Chainsmokers became sought after for their commercial appeal. Despite the growing popularity leading to a decrease in output for artists like DJ Laszlo and Danny Verde, their contribution to the Top Dance Songs for 2014 cannot be overlooked. On the radar for 2015 is Guy Scheiman, whose unique fusion of Circuit Tribal House and progressive EDM has been turning heads. Equally influential is Barry Harris, one-half of Thunderpuss, who has revitalized the circuit-house scene with his innovative approach. As we look back at the Top Dance Songs for 2014, we must also anticipate the rising trends. House music, for instance, has seen a resurgence, which will be showcased in our upcoming volume dedicated to the biggest house tunes of the year. Stay tuned, follow the beat, and remember to always...ENJOY! Album : Time Capsule 2K14 | Volume 3Genre : EDM, Electro, CommercialYear : 2014Total Time : 01:27:07 1. Happy Friday everybody! The temp starts off warm with the Sam Smith slow-cooker “Stay With Me,” but quickly builds from there. Duke Dumont's “I Got U” get's yet another remix treatment by none other than MK, who's been doing his thing in house music since 1993. While not as well-known or famous as some of his 90's cohorts, he's most famous for his remix of the Nightcrawlers “Push the Feeling On.” He has subsequently produced tracks for Pitbull and Will Smith. Wise D & Kobe pluck the late 80's acid house classic "Sexpress" and give it an upbeat house treatment, while Block & Crown take the disco classic by Odyssey “Native New Yorker” (a personal all-time favorite) titled "New York City Girls" and stamped out a fierce filtered-disco thump, maintaining the soul of the original while dumping most of the lyrics, save the chorus. Tommy Trash updates the early millennial number one “Don't Call Me Baby” by Madison Avenue with a fresh vibe that breathes new life into this classic. Mark Knight takes on Kylie's “Can't Get You Out of My Head” with a really deep and dark groove on “Your Love.” We also see the return of Miss Patti Brooks (of TGIF fame) on “I Like the Way You Move,” a powerful house-stomper like you've never heard from her before. That song also features backing vocals by former Supreme Scherrie Payne with Joyce Vincent-Wilson and Pamela Vincent of Tony Orlando and Dawn fame from the early 70s. As promised, I dropped the Party Favorz edited version of Frankie Knuckles' final mix for Michael Jackson's “Love Never Felt So Good,” then begin to lower the temp once more with Nile Rodgers' “Do What You Wanna Do” and the major deep house hit “Waves” by Mr. Probz. I'd say that song along with “I Got U” will end up being two of the biggest house numbers of the year. You can expect the final two sets of Epic Circuit Anthems to drop this coming week. After that, I have no clue what's in the bag BUT you know it's gonna be good so make sure to follow this site for continued updates throughout the summer. That's pretty much all she wrote for now. Summer is finally here! Pride season is always an exciting time of year to me, but this year I've been feeling an especially strong amount of emotion. I just turned 38 this month, and I think the combination of being firmly in my late-30's now and having just finished riding my 7th AIDS/LifeCycle has got me thinking deeply about a lot of things. I was (as many were) recently moved by the powerful message that the world got from watching HBO's "The Normal Heart." And then again watching HBO's "The Case Against 8" this week, on the eve of the marriage of Jeff Zarrillo and Paul Katami. I feel tremendous change in my approach towards interpersonal relationships right now as well — with an eye out towards both friendships and romantic love... with changing priorities in my life's work. Maybe it's just Mercury in retrograde, but right now I'm just feeling very deeply. I express a lot of that through music. Music is the motivation that keeps me going. Music is the crutch that supports me through long days. Music is the outlet that allows me to vent and to be creative. So with this podcast, I want to celebrate the beauty that exists in loving each other… in finding love in all of its strange forms and remembering what it means to love one another. "Without music, life would be a mistake." ― Nietzsche My Upcoming DJ Schedule: June 27th: Mischief, Re-bar, Seattle Pride June 28th: Wedding Celebration of Paul Katami & Jeff Zarrillo, Beverly Hills June 29th: Daydream, The Dream Downtown, New York City Pride July 18th: Stripper Circus, Share nightclub, Las Vegas July 25th: Grunt, The Eagle, Silverlake July 26th: Plastic Fantastic, Eleven nightclub, West Hollywood August 3rd: Size Sundays, Here lounge, West Hollywood August 16th: Plastic Fantastic, Eleven nightclub, West Hollywood October 19th: Size Sundays, Here lounge, West Hollywood October 24th: Halloween event TBA October 25th: Halloween event TBA The Tracklist: "Find You" (acapella), Zedd feat. So, I've wanted to make a deep house podcast for over a year now, but I've always made excuses for not getting around to it. Well, the time's finally arrived! One of the best challenges of being a DJ is experimenting with different genres of music and this is definitely a completely different sound for me. However, it's also a sound that I love listening to so I knew I'd enjoy making it. I wanted to make a mix that you'd play while sitting by the pool, looking out over the Aegean Sea or the Hollywood Hills with a cocktail in your hand and hope in your heart. This is certainly no high-energy gym mix — it's a 180 from everything else on this page (with the exception of my "NYC Made Me Do It" podcast, which has a strong deep house section in it). It's certainly not my best mixing technically, but it's my first time doing a podcast mostly at 124 BPM. For a while towards the top I even experiment with 3 and sometimes 4 tracks playing at once. Still, I'm really happy with how it turned out and I hope you enjoy it as well. My next high energy February podcast should be done in a week. My Upcoming Live Schedule: February 2nd – Size Sundays, Here lounge, West Hollywood February 3rd - "Vampire Academy" release party, Lure nightclub, Hollywood February 16th – Tortilla Republic, West Hollywood February 21st - 23rd, 2014 – [Elevation: Park City] (gay ski week) February 28th - Stripper Circus, Share Nightclub, Las Vegas March 23rd – Size Sundays, Here lounge, West Hollywood The Tracklist: "Thy Name," Shaylom "Warm Up," Pavel Petrov & Marten "Can't Give Up" (Chus & Ceballos Vocal Remix), Denver feat.
