Estimated reading time: 6 minutes Folks, I've been in an exreme pain with no relief and decided to let AI take the reigns. While it's a bit heavy handed, it does sum up this volume really well. I'm in need of a much deserved and extended break. I'll be back by the end of January or early February. Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II: The Year Tightens Its Grip on the Dancefloor Volume 2 of Top Dance Songs of 2025 lands with a very different energy than the opening chapter. Where Vol. I introduced the shape of the year, this set confirms it. The middle stretch of 2025 leans deeper into groove, emotion, and vocal-driven hooks that work just as well at sunrise as they do at peak hour. There's also a noticeable shift. Fewer throwaway tracks. More intent. Producers focused on longevity rather than chasing quick viral moments. As a result, Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II feels cohesive, confident, and built for repeat listens. A Strong Opening That Sets the Mood Jonas Blue & Malive kick things off with Edge Of Desire, a smooth builder that balances melody with restraint. It doesn't rush. That tone continues with Calvin Harris and Jessie Reyez on Ocean, where Calvin leans back into emotional songwriting without losing club weight. The Ultimate Spring Break Dance Party Mix 2024! Top Dance Songs 2025: Our Year-End Review Iconic 90s Dance Hits: Ultimate House Classics from 1994-1995 - Vol. 2 90s House Classics 1994 - 1995 Vol. 3: Nostalgia Meets the Dance Floors Old School House Music: 90s Club Anthems from 1994-1995 - Vol. 1 John Summit's presence is immediate. Light Years featuring Inéz opens the door to the melodic side of his catalog this year. It's followed later by Crystallized and Palm Of My Hands, reinforcing how deeply his sound is shaping Top Dance Songs of 2025 across multiple lanes. Chrystal's The Days in the NOTION extended remix brings early-2000s euphoria into a modern frame. It hits that sweet spot between nostalgia and now. Vocal Tracks Doing the Heavy Lifting Vocals matter more in this volume. James Hype's Waterfalls delivers bounce and clarity, while Zerb, Ty Dolla $ign, and Wiz Khalifa's Location gets a darker, more hypnotic edge thanks to the Agents Of Time remix. Calvin Harris returns with Blessings, featuring Clementine Douglas, who quietly becomes one of the defining voices of Top Dance Songs of 2025. She also shines later alongside Sonny Fodera on Tell Me, adding continuity and warmth to the set. David Guetta's triple appearance shows range. Gone Gone Gone (Done Done Done) with Teddy Swims and Tones And I leans pop-forward but stays functional. If (A Better World) with Cedric Gervais taps into classic Guetta tension. Together with Hypaton and Bonnie Tyler surprises with its emotional pull. Underground Energy Meets Mainstage Polish D.O.D's Wrap Yourself Around Me keeps things playful, while Rivo's Last Night in the Korolova remix adds late-night drama. Cloonee's Stephanie (HNTR remix) brings gritty tech-house swagger that resets the room. SIDEPIECE delivers one of the cleanest hooks in the set with Cry For You. It's simple. It works. Chris Lake appears twice and makes both count. Ease My Mind with Abel Balder stays smooth, while Toxic with Ragie Ban brings sharper edges. Mau P's The Less I Know The Better continues his streak of minimal, effective club tools. Max Dean, Luke Dean, and Locky's Can't Decide keeps that momentum rolling. Remakes, Reworks, and Smart Risks Felix Jaehn and SHOUSE's Walk With Me leans into communal energy, while Alok and Alan Fitzpatrick reframe Friday, I'm In Luv with respect rather than gimmicks. Disco Lines and Tinashe's No Broke Boys brings bounce and attitude. Fred Again, Skepta, and PlaqueboyMax's Victory Lap (The Hills Remix Dirty) adds grit that cuts through the polish elsewhere. Dom Dolla's Dreamin featuring Daya is one of the strongest crossover moments in Top Dance Songs of 2025, bridging vocal emotion and club pressure without compromise. Closing With Authority Argy and Meduza's Melodia featuring PollyAnna closes the melodic arc beautifully. Artbat and Vintage Culture follow with She The Last One, locking into a deeper, hypnotic groove. The final stretch feels intentional. Ed Sheeran's Sapphire gets unexpected lift via Charlie Lane. Lady Gaga's Abracadabra in the Kastra remix brings theatrical flair. Delerium and Sarah McLachlan's Silence returns through John Summit's extended lens, proving timeless tracks still matter when handled right. CID and Taylr Renee close the set with Fancy $hit, a confident exclamation point that leaves the floor satisfied, not exhausted. Why Volume 2 Matters Top Dance Songs of 2025 Vol. II isn't louder than Vol. I. It's smarter. More refined. It shows a year settling into its identity. These tracks aren't chasing trends. They're defining them. This is the volume you revisit months later and realize how many of these records stayed in rotation. That's the mark of a strong year. Until the next time...ENJOY! Estimated reading time: 6 minutes We've officially reached the pinnacle of the Top Dance and Club songs for 2025, and the result is… complicated. While the year wasn't devoid of quality, it landed short of expectations when viewed as a whole. There were standout records. There were undeniable earworms. However, the depth simply wasn't there. Party Favorz is closing out the year with just two volumes instead of the usual three or four. That decision wasn't arbitrary. Typically, the year-end list overflows with must-have club records, forcing careful balance across multiple releases. This time, that pressure never arrived. Volume 2 may end up slightly longer—or not. That call will be made once the final mix comes together. Either way, the numbers told a clear story. The Songs That Carried 2025 To be fair, 2025 did deliver several massive Dance and Club songs that refused to leave our heads. Tracks like Don't Wake Me Up, Destiny, Coming Up, Beautiful People, Dior, Hypnotized, Blessings, The Days, Stephanie, Say My Name, No Broke Boys, Dreamin', and Tell Me were all high-rotation records with real staying power. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Us-4C6Bz5nQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_QcgxGxk1kQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2fSojJqyNY Each of these songs qualifies as an earworm in the purest sense. They connected quickly. They tested well on the floor. They held up across repeated listens. Yet even with those highlights, the overall list felt thinner than what's typical for a year-end roundup. That reality forced a rare adjustment. Adjusting the Bar for a Changing Market Historically, Party Favorz has relied on combined YouTube and Spotify streaming totals, supplemented by Beatport Top 10 entries that may not dominate mainstream platforms. That approach usually paints a complete picture of the year. In 2025, however, the mega-streaming hits were fewer and farther between. To round out the Top Dance Songs of 2025, the qualification threshold was lowered to one million combined streams. That wasn't a compromise in taste. Instead, it acknowledged a shifting landscape where listener attention is more fragmented than ever. With more genre-specific releases competing for smaller slices of the audience, fewer tracks reached those runaway numbers we once took for granted. The Ultimate Spring Break Dance Party Mix 2024! The Biggest Dance Songs of 2025 ...So Far! | Catch-Up 2025 The Season's HOTTEST Dance Club Songs: Jingle Electric 2021 Catch-Up 2024 Volume II: The Biggest Dance Club Songs of the Year…So Far! Top Dance Club Songs of the Year 2024 Volume I | The Year's Biggest Bangers! [Expanded] In the end, selection came down to resonance. Which songs stuck? Which records translated across clubs, playlists, and repeat plays? Judged by that metric, this list still delivers. Why John Summit Dominated the Year One thing listeners will immediately notice across both volumes is the heavy presence of John Summit. That wasn't favoritism—it was math. Summit continues to generate reliable streaming numbers while actively pushing beyond his comfort zone. Rather than repeating past success, he's collaborating with established vocalists and artists who haven't necessarily crossed into the mainstream. That approach results in original records that feel intentional rather than formulaic. Yes, he could easily deliver another “Shiver.” Instead, he's expanding his range. Along the way, Summit has also revisited classics like Sweet Disposition, Silence, and I Wanna Go, using them as connective tissue between generations. Between those moments, he released tracks such as Palm of My Hands, Focus, and Light Years, which showcase genuine artistic growth while giving his live sets far more dimension. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d2jQjvNtawA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hizmDQ83kRI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FNHfPqti1V8 Other Artists Who Defined the Year Beyond Summit, several names consistently showed up in the data. PAWSA, Prospa, and Odd Mob all posted strong streaming numbers that matched their growing influence on the global house scene. Meanwhile, David Guetta and Hypaton delivered one of the year's standout reinterpretations by sampling Bonnie Tyler's early-'80s classic Total Eclipse of the Heart for Together. It's dramatic, bold, and unapologetically built for big rooms—one of Party Favorz' favorite remixes of 2025. James Hype also maintained momentum with Don't Wake Me Up and Waterfalls, proving his run over the last few years is no fluke. In a surprise twist, Jonas Blue caught listeners off guard with the house-driven Edge of Desire, which performed far better than many expected. Clementine Douglas: A Defining Voice After last year's chart-topping collaboration with Calvin Harris on Happy, Clementine Douglas made it clear she's no one-off success. In 2025, she appeared prominently across multiple key releases—reuniting with Harris on Blessings, teaming with MK on Come Find Me, and joining Sonny Fodera on Tell Me. Few vocalists shaped the sound of the year as consistently as she did. Closing the Year Strong So while 2025 may not go down as a banner year for Dance and Club music, it certainly wasn't a loss. These two volumes capture the biggest records, the most memorable hooks, and the tracks that carried us through crowded floors and long nights. As Volume 2 lands in early 2026, Volume 1 sets the tone—focused, intentional, and packed with highlights worth revisiting. Welcome to Top Dance Songs of 2025 Volume 1.Until the next time...ENJOY! What I've heard is a scene flooded with well-meaning producers who often sound exactly alike. Tools once locked behind studio doors now sit on every laptop, and the consequence is clear: presets rule, random samples of half-forgotten hits scatter everywhere, and every third track chases the same Afro-House rhythm. Variety exists, but you have to dig deeper than ever to find it. Catch-Up 2025 exists for that very reason. Quantity over quality is wearing thin Party Favorz screens hundreds of promos each week, covering every style under the dance umbrella. The inbox overload means true standouts must punch harder than ever before. When 30 tracks recycle the same kick, bass patch, and “nostalgia” hook, listeners start wondering whether they're hearing a playlist or a single endlessly looping song. The “biggest dance songs of 2025” must clear a higher bar, yet the supply of fresh ideas keeps shrinking. That sameness forced me to lower the usual entry threshold just to assemble this Catch-Up 2025 mix—and I do not lower bars lightly. A remix masterclass from Lola Young & David Puentez Still, flashes of genius shine. Lola Young's soulful “Messy” has owned my headphones since January. Early bootlegs skimmed by with polite Future-House padding, fine for playlists but hardly memorable. Then David Puentez arrived. He kept Lola's raw vocal front and center (even if the verses are a little buried underneath the mix), ratcheted the tension with a snarling synth stab, and slipped in some Stutter House nobody saw coming. The result hits like a confetti cannon on a festival main stage—proof that originality can burn through the noise. This is exactly the mindset the biggest dance songs of 2025 need. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o7e13RNXQ7w Streams, stats, and the shrinking spotlight Remember when dance singles pulled 20 million YouTube streams in a week? Now a clip clears 1 million and the industry calls it a “smash.” Much of that traffic moved to Spotify and Apple Music, but pulling numbers is still tougher than ever. Compiling data for Catch-Up 2025 became an exercise in compromise. Lowering stream requirements let slower-burning records claim a slot, and I'm betting some late-season releases will surge before the final Top Dance Songs of 2025 list drops in December. For now, this midpoint snapshot reflects reality—even if reality needs a caffeine shot. John Summit keeps things interesting Credit where it belongs: John Summit refuses to coast.

Matt talks about R&B first dance songs to play as a married couple. Important Links View the complete list of R&B first dance songs. See all Wedding Songs Podcast episodes Podcast Transcript R&B music is soulful, it's romantic, and I think it makes for some of the best wedding songs you can play as a married couple. Today I am going to be focusing on more of the newer songs so of course, these are not the tried and true classics that you can find. Examples like Sam Cook and Nat King Cole. I just want to give you some ideas that are outside of the box that maybe you haven't thought of, that maybe describe your relationship and your love for each other. Now, if you prefer to read the list, or listen to the list (as you know we cannot play the list legally), you can do so on the website MyWeddingSongs.com and just search for First Dance songs and it will come up. While you are on the website, make sure you sign up for our monthly newsletter of all the new wedding songs released in the previous month, plus what is trending. Let us go ahead and get started with the first song on the list. It is by Veto and is called “Forever”. Released in 2022 it is a brand new song but it is quickly becoming very popular. Lyrics include…You have all the leverage, girl, I'm yours if you want it, Let's make it forever, girl. Another great new song is by Selah Sue called “You (Rework)” with the lyrics…All I need is time in your embrace, It's always so much better, Never in my life I've felt this way, Yes, you are all I need. Another one of my recent favorites is by Ric Hassani and is called “Angel (Acoustic Version)” You may not have heard of him yet, but this is a fantastic first dance song with the lyrics…I might lose sleep tonight, ‘Cause finally my dream has come true, I was created for you, You are my angel. As I said, the lyrics fit very nicely into a first dance song. Now, this next song was on top of the R&B adult chart, and it is by the popular Kem with his song “Stuck On You”. It was released in 2022 with the lyrics…And your love, Is all I needed, To be fearless, Baby, I'm stuck on you. And, the last song I have, released in 2022, is by an artist probably most well known for his song “Down”. It is Jay Sean with his song “Incomplete” with the lyrics (I should say the lover lyrics)…Never know when it could be different, If there was no you, I'd be, I'd be incomplete. Probably my favorite song on the whole list is by the artists Jose James and Taali with the song “I Found A Love”. Lyrics include…I found a love, The kind to hold, The kind that lifts you from the bottom of your soul, The kind that makes, The broken whole. Next up is Leela James in 2021 with the song “You're The One” with romantic lyrics…You're the one that treats me right, Just the way I like, You're the one. I like the connotations of this next song, “At My Worst” by Pink Sweat$ and Kehlani with the lyrics…If you stay forever, let me hold your hand, I can fill those places in your heart no one else can, Let me show you, love, oh, I don't pretend. Next up is actually a popular first dance song, “Conversations In The Dark” by John Legend, released in 2020. Lyrics include…You get hung up on your flaws, Well, in my eyes, you are perfect, As you are. Another duet is “Anything For You” by Ledisi and PJ Morton. It was released in 2020 with the lyrics…I will do anything for you, You are my life, one means us two, Anything, anything for you. Rahsaan Patterson released “Sent From Heaven” in 2019 with the lyrics…Thoughts of you rise like the sun, and, My days are much brighter Because you're sent from heaven. Another popular first dance song is by Snoh Aalegra “Find Someone Like You” released in 2019 with the lyrics…I've been waitin' my whole life, to find someone like you, Find someone like you. Here is another song that is not going to be on everybody's radar. Derran Day's song “My Word” was released in 2018 with the lyrics…Cross every star,

Your girls are BACK and the episode starts off strong with Rachel dropping a bomb on Jess. Which leads us to the question - what is the weirdest thing you've ever done for money? The girls share a lot of laughs after Rachel comes clean about how she spent her morning. Rach fills everyone in on her dress buying trip to Chicago and gives her advice and new found knowledge after saying "yes to the dress" (too chueg??). Jess finally receives her Christmas gift from Rach and it has us reflecting on #2021yearofgrowth. Jess and Rach bond over their new Survivor obsession, and Rach tries to be relevant by watching the newest reality TV craze, but Jess already beat her to it. The meat this week is a lot of music talk, and a lot of jokes. We want you all to know how much we love you and we love your love, but maybe if your first dance was to 'At Last' you had a high neckline dress and got married in a barn?? Maybe if your first dance song was "Honeybee" you had your Bach party in Nashville?? Maybe you are basic as hell and we are here to say we see you and we honor you! Most of the shade thrown was also shade we could through at ourselves, so we hope you know this episode was all in good fun! Over 100 people submitted their first dance songs, and we are so thrilled to have you all a part of the FB&W community!Instagram- @forbetterandworsepodTwitter- @4betterandworsepodTikTok- @forbetterandworseWatch our episodes on YouTube- https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCku0ZFVoy85uV3Lb8emND4g

Per #Wikipedia Crystal Waters is an American house and dance music singer and songwriter, best known for her 1990s dance hits "Gypsy Woman", "100% Pure Love", and 2007's "Destination Calabria" with Alex Gaudino. All three of her studio albums produced a Top 40 hit on the Billboard Hot 100. In December 2016, Billboard magazine ranked her as one of the most successful dance artists of all time. Her accolades include six ASCAP Songwriter awards, three American Music Award nominations, an MTV Video Music Award nod, four Billboard Music Awards and twelve #1 Billboard Dance Chart hits. Her hit song "Gypsy Woman" was sampled in musician Trey Songz's 2017 song "1x1" from his album Tremaine the Album, which she co-wrote. _________ Waters' first job in the music world was as a backup singer at a local recording studio. She realized she wanted the creative control of writing her own music. Meeting the Basement Boys at a D.C. conference, they agreed to collaborate. Waters' self-described style was jazz and the Basement Boys was house. The first two songs she wrote for the 'Boys were "Makin' Happy" and "Gypsy Woman". Waters signed a writing contract with Mercury Records in 1989.[citation needed] Her single "Makin' Happy", with contributions by remixer Steve "Silk" Hurley, shot quickly to #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs.[citation needed] With her 1994 follow-up album Storyteller, Waters made a mainstream comeback with her hit single "100% Pure Love", which hit number 11 on the Billboard Hot 100,[5] #1 on the Billboard Dance Club Songs and became one of the longest-charting singles on the Hot 100 at 45 weeks ("Gypsy Woman" had remained on the chart for 16 weeks). Along with the single, her second album Storyteller, sold over 1 million copies in the United States. Feminist scholar and social activist bell hooks described Waters as "fierce and politically on the job" because of the singer's socially conscious lyrics. Waters performing in 2013. In 1996, Waters participated in the AIDS benefit album Red Hot + Rio, which was produced by the Red Hot Organization, performing the song "The Boy from Ipanema". In 2007, the mega European hit "Destination Calabria" by Alex Gaudino, featuring vocals by Crystal Waters, went to #1 on the European Pop Chart in over 30 countries. The track is a mashup, taking the instrumental from Rune's "Calabria" and the vocals from Alex Gaudino's and Crystal Waters' "Destination Unknown", both originally released in 2003. It was produced with the help of Maurizio Nari and Ronnie Milani (Nari & Milani), matching the saxophone hook/riff from "Calabria" to Crystal Waters' voice. "Destination Calabria" was released as a 12-inch single by the Italian label Rise Records, and as a CD single on March 19, 2007 by British label Data Records. It originally charted in Australia in February 2004, peaking at #98 under the title "Destination Unknown" before being re-released as "Destination Calabria" and reaching #2 in 2007. In 2012, "Le Bump" with Yolanda Be Cool gave Waters another #1 on the Beatport House Chart. With DJ Chris Cox in 2013, the #1 Billboard Dance Club Songs hit "Mama Hey" was listed as one of Billboard's "Top 50 Dance Songs of 2013". In November 2015, Waters released "Synergy", and in October 2016 she released "Believe". Both songs quickly rose to the #1 spot on the Billboard Dance Club Songs.[citation needed] Her 2017 single "Testify" with Hifi Sean was released on Defected Records and went straight to the A-List on BBC Radio and garnered another #1 spot on the Billboard Dance Club Songs. Her third collaboration with Sted-E & Hybrid Heights, titled "I Am House", reached #1 in the club charts in Spring 2018, giving Waters a total of twelve #1 singles in the US Billboard Dance Club Songs. In February 2020, she began a monthly radio/podcast show called "I Am House." "About once a year, or so, someone creates a song specifically to make a dance. The lyrics say what to do and we do it. But, what was the first? What was the best? We will look into it this week."
