Bobby Bones and Matt Cassel are getting ready for the holiday season and Matt recalls some of the gifts he gave to his offensive lineman. What are some of the best (or less than best) QB gifts given? While suits are regular gifts, Bobby reveals how he's bought some of his most expensive suits. NFL Red Zone's Scott Hanson drops by and explains how he broke into the business and met Matt a long time ago. At the same time, Scott relives a laughably regrettable experience with Mike Vrabel. Matt talks about his audition to host Red Zone and who he believes is one of the nicest people he's ever met in the NFL. Plus, is there a bucket list event that Scott would like to cover? Bobby wraps up with the best three games coming in Week 17. Have a Happy Holiday! Then, the guys discuss ways to improve the NBA Cup going forward or if it's ok as is. In Who's Ballin Who's Fallin, Kon Kneuppel hits 100 3's in record time, Draymond Green yells at Steve Kerr, Ben Simmons is going fishing and the Jacksonville Jaguars? The NFL Playoff Picture is coming into full view but teams really muddy-ed the waters with the results of week 16 across the NFL. The Jacksonville Jaguars dropped their statement win of the season on the Denver Broncos and now about 5 different teams can win the AFC's #1 seed. Trevor Lawrence and Co showed they are a legit Super Bowl contending team. The New England Patriots rallied behind Drake Maye and knocked off the Baltimore Ravens to stay a game ahead of the Bills in the AFC East. The Pittsburgh Steelers held on to win a whacky game in Detroit, earning our Hemingway moniker but today DK Metcalf found out that he will be suspended for the final two games of the 2025 NFL season. The Chargers, Texans and Bills all won over teams already eliminated so they could keep pace in the playoff race. And in the NFC, the Eagles took care of the Commanders on Saturday afternoon to feel better about their chances in the playoffs. The Bears had a miraculous comeback against the Packers to further solidify their claim to the NFC North throne. And the fellas breakdown the wild NFC South, a division that both teams, the Panthers and Buccaneers, both seemingly don't want to win. The Denver Broncos have been winning, consistently if not perfectly...however this week their little inconsistencies in play caught up to them against the Jacksonville Jaguars. As the Jags took advantage of every error and dips in play the Broncos presented to them. While the winning streak was great, this gut punch may just be as important if this Broncos Squad is to reach their ultimate goal. #broncos #broncoscountry #broncoscountryblitz #nfl #jaxvsden #podcast

Jerry is in for his first update of the morning, bringing all the sounds from a dismal Sunday that saw both the Giants and Jets spiral further into irrelevance. Elsewhere, the Patriots climbed toward the #1 seed with a win over a Ravens team that is now likely missing the playoffs with Lamar Jackson injured again, and the Steelers escaped Detroit on a controversial, game-ending offensive pass interference call. To cap it all off, the Jaguars stunned the Broncos in Denver.
Jerry is back with the sounds of a local disaster as the Jets surrender eight sacks in a blowout loss and the Giants manage to fall to Vikings backup Max Brosmer after J.J. McCarthy went down. Gio's already scouting for the next Giants regime, falling in love with the "Jersey guy" energy of Jaguars DC Anthony Campanile, while the rest of the league provided pure confusion—from the Ravens inexplicably ignoring Derrick Henry during a fourth-quarter collapse to Mike McDaniel's bizarre post-game presser

Chris and the fellas get deep with the NFL Week 16 previews. A great slate this weekend with both Saturday and Sunday games has us stoked for the playoff race! The Bears and Packers do battle to claim the NFC North with only a few games to play. Will Caleb Williams or Jordan Love lead their team to victory? In the NFC South, the Panthers and Buccaneers scrape for their own divisional lead. The Jaguars and Broncos meet with the Broncos needing a win to keep their lead in the race for the AFC's #1 seed. The Steelers and Lions meet with the loser having their playoff hopes take a huge hit and you know Dan Campbell will do anything to stop that from happening to Detroit. The Ravens need a win over the Patriots to remain in the AFC's playoff race and it could be a battle between QBs (Lamar Jackson and Drake Maye) that we'll see for years to come. We're also keeping an eye on the Chiefs to see how they compete without Patrick Mahomes and the Browns solely for the Sack Watch of Myles Garrett. We finish with a couple game previews that were lost in the Bermuda Triangle and our Thursday Night Time Machine.
