He set out to create a meme page during the pandemic, but has since used his Instagram fame to raise more than $30 million for humanitarian causes. He was aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla carrying aid to Palestinians when they were arrested by Israeli naval forces. Tommy and his fellow Jewish-American friend David Adler were singled out and forced to be filmed with Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir when the convoy was intercepted. Tommy spent 5 days in an Israeli prison and returned home to Los Angeles on Friday. Dr. Dhiaa Daoud is a Palestinian-American emergency physician and humanitarian. His work in Gaza during the 2024 war inspired him to found the Doctors for Hope Foundation, which provides medical care and rebuilds essential infrastructure. President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced far-reaching new tariffs on nearly all U.S. trading partners — a 34% tax on imports from China and 20% on the European Union, among others — that threaten to dismantle much of the architecture of the global economy and trigger broader trade wars. Trump, in a Rose Garden announcement, said he was placing elevated tariff rates on dozens of nations that run meaningful trade surpluses with the United States, while imposing a 10% baseline tax on imports from all countries in response to what he called an economic emergency. The president, who said the tariffs were designed to boost domestic manufacturing, used aggressive rhetoric to describe a global trade system that the United States helped to build after World War II, saying “our country has been looted, pillaged, raped and plundered” by other nations. On March 18, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case Murthy v. Missouri challenging whether the government can induce social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook to censor constitutionally protected free speech.   A sinister web of federal agencies, the White House, social media platforms, NGOs and others are orchestrating a vast system of censorship to suppress viewpoints that contradict “preferred government narratives”about COVID-19 policies, climate change, election integrity and other issues that should be open to free & fair debate. The Supreme Court is being asked to decide on a lower court injunction that ruled that the Biden White House, the FBI, the Department of Justice, the Surgeon General, the CDC, the Department of Health and Human Services and many other federal agencies are not permitted to communicate with or coerce social media companies for “the purpose of urging, encouraging, pressuring, or inducing in any manner the removal, deletion, suppression, or reduction of content containing protected free speech.” Joining Bill in this episode are two people who were inside the Supreme Courtroom on March 18, plaintiff Aaron Kheriaty MD and his lawyer Jenin Younes.' Aaron, a physician specializing in psychiatry, was fired from the University of California after challenging its Covid vaccine mandate in Federal Court. Jenin's with the New Civil Liberties Alliance and served as senior special counsel on the Weaponization Subcommittee.

Newsom, NCLA represents several California physicians whose First Amendment rights were violated by Assembly Bill (AB) 2098—a law that subjected physicians to discipline for giving patients advice about Covid-related matters that didn't comport with the “scientific consensus.” Many bad government actors have avoided facing legal consequences for unconstitutional actions by abusing the mootness doctrine.
