John Anthony Castro, a 2024 GOP U.S. Presidential Candidate who notably sued Donald Trump, has been found guilty on all 33 counts related to Federal Tax Fraud. Castro, a frequent guest on The NeoLiberal Round Podcast, had gained attention by suing Trump for violating Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. His legal challenges were discussed extensively on the podcast series “Castro v. Trump,” where he was a key contributor. According to Erin Dooley at the Media Affairs Office at the Texas Department of Justice, in a press release stated that Following a five-day bench trial before Senior U.S. District Judge Terry R Means, he was convicted on all 33 counts of assisting in the preparation of a fraudulent return and was immediately taken into custody” (Press Release  by the DOJ on Friday May 24, 2024: https://www.justice.gov/usao-ndtx/pr/mansfield-tax-preparer-convicted-33-counts-tax-fraud-after-bench-trial).   Despite his high-profile legal battles, Castro's lawsuits in multiple states were largely dismissed. In January, he filed an appeal in Florida against Judge Eileen Cannon's decision to dismiss his case and sought her recusal from all cases involving Trump, citing bias. Concurrently, Castro faced his own legal troubles, being indicted on Federal Tax Fraud charges.   In January 2024, The NeoLiberal Round Podcast released an episode featuring Castro, where he vehemently denied any wrongdoing related to the indictment. He explained the errors leading to the charges and stated that he had taken steps to correct them. Castro expressed confidence in his ability to clear his name and reiterated his commitment to his presidential campaign.   On April 16, 2024, Castro provided an update, maintaining his innocence and preparing for his May 20th hearing. He indicated plans to testify and expressed a desire to step away from politics afterward. However, following the hearing, on May 20th, Castro was arrested and taken into custody.   The Texas State Department of Justice released details of the ruling, revealing that Castro, owner of the virtual tax preparation business Castro & Company, had falsely inflated client tax returns. Jill Biden makes excuses for Hunter Biden portraying him as a victim. “John Anthony Castro was indicted last week on 33 counts of aiding the preparation of false tax returns,” noted The Hill. “Prosecutors claim he ran a virtual tax preparation business that provided customers with tax returns beyond what they were actually owed, defrauding the government.” Inflation accelerated more than December, marking the thirty-third consecutive month with annual prices rising significantly faster than the two percent target seen as healthy by the Federal Reserve. Ai Tax "did nothing wrong! We took corrective action. It's all a bunch of B.S.," John Anthony Castro, President of AI Tax, said via phone with Renaldo McKenzie earlier today, responding to his indictment on federal tax charges. John A. Castro responded to his arrest and indictment on Federal tax Charges by the Internal Revenue Service (#irs). Castro spoke with Renaldo McKenzie of The NeoLiberal Round Podcast and The NeoLiberal Journals at #TheNeoLiberalCorporation, clarifying the issues surrounding the indictment and asserting that he may have been the target of those who want to discredit him given his Presidential bid and lawsuit against Donald Trump (Castro V Trump). Mr. Castro is a GOP 2024 Presidential candidate who is also the main plaintiff in the #CastroVTrump lawsuit, where he is sung Trump for violation of section 3 of the 14th Amendment citing personal injury. The cases are still before the Federal courts in several jurisdictions pending a ruling which, according to Mr. Castro, the courts have been delaying through various tactics. Nevertheless, the indictment claims that Mr. Castro's company, AI Tax, has violated the tax laws by preparing false returns for clients. However, Mr. Castro stated that he knew the issue and worked to resolve it with the affected clients. He noted that the 33 felonies involved 13 of his over 1500 clients and that his company had claimed deductions for but who never qualified for the benefits. Mr. Castro stated that his company tried to fix the issue, which was between $ 3,000 and $ 6,000 in each case, but a few of the clients decided to work with the IRS and take it to federal court. Mr. Castro stated emphatically that his company AI Tax "did nothing wrong and took corrective action. It's all a bunch of B.S.," Mr. Castro said on the phone with Renaldo McKenzie earlier. John Castro was briefly detained on Wednesday, provided a copy of the indictment, which was usual for these arrests, and then returned home. He indicated that he plans on getting an attorney and has already started to assemble a team. However, Mr. Castro is an attorney who runs a successful law practice. In this episode of the series, Castro reports that Judge Aileen Cannon has dismissed the case ruling that he lacks "standing and therefore the court does not have jurisdiction." However, Castro reveals that this was one outcome that was expected as the plan was to appeal all the way to the US Supreme Court. In fact, he broke the news that he has already filed an appeal at the 11th circuit court this past Monday June 26th, 2023, and that he anticipates a ruling by the end of September 2023. Whatever the ruling, the case is sure to head to the US Supreme Court. Moreover, he indicated that he will be requesting the 11th Circuit Court to rescuse Judge Cannon from presiding over any cases involving Mr. Donald Trump. In this commentary, I lifted up come points raised in the new book on the January 6 insurrection: Moreover, the recent January 6 insurrection on the US Capital suggested a deeply rooted backlash by a status quo who had believed that its privilege was being threatened by the rising Black and Brown majority. Hence, with violence they attacked without apology. This behavior seems to support what Martin Oppenheimer had observed from Trotsky that, “every class struggle is thus a political struggle, which in its objectives aims at the abolition of the existing order and at the establishment of a new system,” (Trotsky) and then concluded that “when that new system has been established, if the class that has made a revolution and created a state in its own interest, is too weak to dominate its state, another class may develop to usurp power, and alter the state to meet its requirements,” (Oppenheimer, 13 – 14, 2000). So that the status quo, today, who launched the January 6 attack, would justify it's counterviolence as a plausible and justifiable action to protect its dominance.... Moreover, violence on top of violence creates more violence, which was evident when on January 6 a group of white extremists embarked on a mission to overthrow the US government and referenced, as a rationale for their insurrectionist tactics, that they were using the same violent means Black Lives Matter Movement activists were using during the US protests against the killing of George Floyd, Brianna Taylor and other Black and Brown peoples. But as we move into the tectonic age, information and the control of it is becoming the avenue for which social movements can stake their greatest claim and launch their most lethal strategy to realize equality, justice and equal opportunity for all. The decentralization of social media is the greatest victory for peoples in society, especially those that are marginalized and most vulnerable. Breaking News: John A Castro, a US 2024 Presidential Candidate and a Contributor the podcast has submitted a MOTIONS FOR RELIEF against Donald Trump and the FEC requesting a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) which may essentially upend Trump's candidacy if granted. The Court is to make a decision within the next 24 hours. John Castro joins us to discuss his motions and to update on this breaking news. "Plaintiff John Anthony Castro, pursuant to 5 U.S.C. §§ 701-706 and Fed. R. Civ. P. 65, moves this Honorable Court for the entry of a Temporary Restraining Order (“TRO”) enjoining Defendant Federal Election Commission (“FEC”) from accepting, processing, retaining, recognizing, giving consideration of, or otherwise giving effect to Donald J. Trump's FEC Form 2, Statement of Candidacy, on the basis that such action by Defendant FEC would constitute agency action not in accordance with law since Donald J. Trump is a constitutionally ineligible candidate pursuant to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Alternatively, if and only if the Court determines that a Temporary Restraining Order is not appropriate despite the time sensitive nature of the matters and threat of irreparable harm, Plaintiff moves this Honorable Court for a Preliminary Injunction and requests a Hearing with an Expedited Briefing Schedule. A. BACKGROUND On January 30, 2022, Plaintiff John Anthony Castro formally registered with the Federal Election Commission as a 2024 candidate for the Republican nomination for the Presidency of the United States. On July 25, 2022, Plaintiff John Anthony Castro filed a Complaint for Declaratory and injunctive Relief (“Compl.”) (Docket No. 1) pursuant to the judicial review provision of the Federal Election Campaign Act (“FECA”), 52 U.S.C. § 30109(a)(8), and the judicial review provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, 5 U.S.C. §§ 701 - 706.2 2 See https://www.fec.gov/data/candidate/P40007320/?tab=about-candidate. Case 1:22-cv-02176-RC Document 18 Filed 11/16/22 Page 9 of 302 Count I is based upon an administrative complaint that Plaintiff filed with Defendant on March 23, 2022. Plaintiff's administrative complaint sought to compel Defendant to declare Donald J. Trump a “candidate” within the meaning of FECA. Defendant failed to act on the administrative complaint within 120 days. Federal law, pursuant to 52 U.S.C. § 30109(a)(8)(A), grants the right of judicial review if the FEC fails to act on an administrative complaint within 120 days. As such, the jurisdiction for Count I stems from 52 U.S.C. § 30109(a)(8)(A) due to the FEC's failure to act within 120 days regarding Donald J. Trump's activities mandating his statutory classification as a “candidate” given the invalidity of the FEC's Testing the Waters regulations under the U.S. Supreme Court's Home Concrete standard. Count II effectively states that, because Plaintiff has alleged in his Complaint that Donald J. Trump engaged in, provided aid to, or provided comfort to the insurrectionists that violently attacked our United States Capitol on January 6, 2021, if Defendant were to accept Donald J. Trump's FEC Form 2, Statement of Candidacy, that would constitute agency action “not in accordance with law” pursuant to Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. In other words, because factual allegations in a complaint must be accepted as true and Plaintiff's Complaint specifically alleges that Trump engaged in, aided, or comforted insurrectionists, it must be accepted as true that Trump does not satisfy Section 3 of the 14th Amendment and is, therefore, ineligible to pursue public office. If Defendant were to accept Donald J. Trump's FEC Form 2, Statement of Candidacy, that would constitute final agency action under 5 U.S.C. § 704 that is “not in accordance with law” under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which 5 U.S.C. § 706(2)(A) specifically prohibits. John Castro is suing the FEC & Trump, challenging his eligibility to run again. Do you think that the FEC should allow Trump to run in 2024? Is abortion a Woman's Right? What Rights does the man have and what about higher order ethics?  This was supposed to be a Podcast discussion with John Castro regarding the supreme court's decision to overturn Roe. But he was unable to join us and will do so later in the week. So we have turned this Audio/Video Podcast episode into the beginning or introduction of a series on Roe Vs. Wade where we will lay out some opening arguments and pose some questions. We will have Mr. Castro to respond or comment on these later this week on part 2 and we will also have Ms. Outland, Right's Activist and Women's Advocate to comment and respond in Part 3 of the series. We will then conclude with final thoughts in part 4 of the series later next week. The Supreme Court recently overturned Roe vs Wade, thereby negating women a right that has been on the books for over 50 years. For many, Liberals and pro-abortion and rights activists, this is conservatives taking away women's rights; so, of course I'm looking forward to actually delving into this, and asking my guests about this. The fact is that the justices' decision to overturn Roe has affected a lot of people on various levels, and it will have implications—financial implications as well—for those who depend heavily on funding that is attached to the former Law or Right in which the Federal Government was assisting with subsiding abortion and reproductive health programs, such as Planned Parenthood. But one may ask; why should the federal government allot federal funds from taxes for a woman to execute their individual rights to abort a fetus? This question stems from the argument that if it is their individual right to abort a fetus, then that should not be subsidized. Furthermore, the overturning of Roe for many is significant because it is a right that has been on the books for over 50 years and for many liberals and pro-abortion and rights activists, this is conservatives taking away women's rights and liberties. But Is the right to abortion an inalienable right of every American? Is it a right that is shared by all Americans? Is this right rooted in tradition, history and culture? The answer is what helped to shape today's decision of the Supreme Court to overturn Roe Vs. Wade. We all have a right to life and we must also protect the right to life not just for self but the right of others to live. But when that right to life clashes with the right to choose then we must ask what is the highest ethic? Is it not the right to life? But is abortion of a fetus tantamount to killing a person? Well, it all depends on your value as a conservative or a liberal and this is the sticking point. But if truth be told, the fetus is part of the continuation of life itself. So then one may argue that the fetus' life must be protected as in doing so one is protecting life itself and its continued existence. My Pastor the Reverend Michael Caine of the Old First United church of C Christ in Old City Philadelphia said that “many were in tears over the reversal, but I was pissed,” arguing that the Supreme Court was essentially taking away woman's guarantee of self-determination which he asserted was half the public and the population rights to decide what happens with their bodies, which is now “no longer protected by the US Constitution And lurching and lurching toward states' rights never bodes well for justice or democratic nation,” Rev. Michael Caine of the Old First UCC Church, Philadelphia. Mr. Castro said that "Men can walk away from a pregnancy. Women cannot. This biological difference creates inherent inequality that can only be remedied by granting women the equal right to walk away from an unwanted pregnancy. This is about individual liberty, personal responsibility, and equality."
