Bojan Rojc sta del zdravstvenega tima, ki na nevrološkem oddelku Splošne bolnišnice v Izoli skrbi za rehabilitacijo bolnic in bolnikov po preboleli možganski kapi. Sogovornika sta v tokratnem Ultrazvoku predstavila tako imenovano aktivno sobo, ki omogoča, da v Izoli v procese okrevanja lahko vključujejo nove tehnologije; na primer očala za navidezno resničnost, prilagojene računalniške igrice. "Politykom najbardziej zależy na tym, żeby wymiar sprawiedliwości nie działał, był rozchwiany. Mają w tym interes - jeżeli popełnią przestępstwo, nie będą sprawnie osądzeni" - mówił w Porannej rozmowie w RMF FM Zbigniew Kapiński - I prezes Sądu Najwyższego. "Kiedy obejmowałem funkcję prezesa Izby Karnej, myślałem, że już przekroczyliśmy pewne granice. Okazało się, że te granice są dalej" - przyznał. "Wciąż wierzę, że przyjdzie opamiętanie" - dodał, odnosząc się do prób politycznych ingerencji w wymiar sprawiedliwości.

KEFI Gold and Copper's (KEFI) annual report and accounts have been released for the year to December 2025, and the company's chairman, Harry Anagnostaras-Adams has taken the opportunity to update investors on progress at the Tulu Kapi project as well as in Saudi Arabia. The construction process is now well underway at Tulu Kapi, and the low projected cost per ounce means that annual EBITDA could run anywhere in the range of US$355 million up to nearly US$700 million. While construction is going on, though, serious exploration will once again resume, as the company attempts to prove that Tulu Kapi isn't just a one-off, but is in fact the first in a district-scale play. 

Suada Kapić je sarajevska rediteljica, scenaristkinja, medijska pionirka i osnivačica nezavisne multimedijalne kuće FAMA, prve takve vrste u bivšoj Jugoslaviji. Sa samo 16. godina je glumila jednu od partizanki sa Serge Gainsburgom i Jane Birkin u partizanskom filmu Milutina Kosovca iz 1971. godine, "19 djevojaka i jedan mornar". Nakon završenog studija književnosti odlučila je upisati studij režije kod čuvenog talijanskog redatelja Federica Fellinija, no audicija je otkazana zbog ubistva premijera Aldo Mora. Potom je upisala režiju u Beogradu kod Dejana Mijača. Prije rata u bivšoj Jugoslaviji pokrenula je prvu nezavisnu TV kuću pod nazivom FAMA, koja je snimala čuveni talk show serijal "Umijeće življenja" sa vodećim protagonistima političkog života tadašnje Jugoslavije, od Karadžića, Tijanića, Mesića, Šuvara i drugih. Tokom opsade Sarajeva pokrenula je neke od najvažnijih projekata dokumentovanja života pod opsadom, uključujući legendarni „Sarajevo Survival Guide“ i „Survival Map 92–96“, stvarajući jedinstvenu arhivu svjedočanstava o svakodnevnom preživljavanju u ratnim okolnostima.Njena dugogodišnja misija bila je sačuvati iskustva građana Sarajeva od zaborava, kroz hiljade prikupljenih priča, intervjua i dokumenata koji danas predstavljaju jedno od najvažnijih svjedočanstava o opsadi u modernoj historiji. Kroz umjetnost, medije i kulturu, Suada Kapić istražuje teme sjećanja, otpora, ljudske izdržljivosti i mehanizama preživljavanja u ekstremnim okolnostima. Po tym, jak prezesowi PiS posłuszeństwo wypowiedział Mateusz Morawiecki, następny w kolejce ustawia się Karol Nawrocki. Prezydent właśnie kompletnie zignorował sygnały ostrzegawcze wysyłane z Nowogrodzkiej w sprawie obsady stołka I prezesa Sądu Najwyższego. Nie ma co kryć — w trwającej politycznej wojnie o kształt wymiaru sprawiedliwości I prezes Sądu Najwyższego to posada kluczowa. Dlatego Kaczyński nie chciał się zgodzić na nominację dla sędziego Zbigniewa Kapińskiego, który ponad ćwierć wieku temu uczestniczył w wydaniu orzeczenia uznającego, że Lech Wałęsa nie był agentem komunistycznej bezpieki. Udowadnianie, że Wałęsa to „Bolek" nadaje życiu Kaczyńskiego sens, więc nie ma się co dziwić, że prezes oczekiwał od swego prezydenckiego wybrańca, że nie zgodzi się na takiego kandydata. A Nawrocki po cichu Kapińskiego powołał — czyli olał Kaczyńskiego. Dla jasności: nie był w tej prezesowskiej olewce sam. Za Kapińskim lobbowali ważni w pisowskiej kaście ludzie: nie tylko zbuntowany Morawiecki, ale także zmarginalizowany Andrzej Duda i odchodząca szefowa Sądu Najwyższego, była wiceminister w rządach PiS Małgorzata Manowska. Znaczy to tyle, że jest na prawicy grupa polityków, którzy mają wystarczającą siłę, by przeforsować swych ludzi na ważne stanowiska — mimo oporów Kaczyńskiego. Tak się zaczyna detronizacja. Ale naturalny — od ponad dwóch dekad — przeciwnik Kaczyńskiego, szef Koalicji Obywatelskiej Donald Tusk także przeżywa problemy. Rok temu dostał ciężkie baty, bo jego kandydat Rafał Trzaskowski przegrał wybory prezydenckie. Teraz z kolei — raptem po dwóch latach kadencji — odwołany w referendum został prezydent Krakowa Aleksander Miszalski, ważna postać KO. W związku z tym twórcy słuchowiska politycznego „Stan Wyjątkowy" Andrzej Stankiewicz i Jacek Gądek analizują wyborczą skuteczność Tuska na rok przed wyborami parlamentarnymi. Wnioski są brutalne. Premier nie odrobił lekcji po ubiegłorocznej porażce Trzaskowskiego. Koalicja Obywatelska wciąż nie potrafi prowadzić kampanii w nowych realiach, gdy trzeba walczyć z botami rozpowszechniającymi wytworzone przez AI chwytliwe, kłamliwe treści. Tak teraz było w Krakowie, a za rok będzie tak w całej Polsce.

 W "Poranku Wnet" Pierwszy Prezes Sądu Najwyższego Zbigniew Kapiński mówi o wyzwaniach, które stoją przed nim jako osobą kierującą jedną z najważniejszych instytucji państwa polskiego. Deklaruje gotowość podjęcia rozmów ze swoimi oponentami, zarówno ministrem sprawiedliwości Waldemarem Żurkiem, jak i sędziami i ławnikami. "Potrzeba jest dobra wola, ale przede wszystkim poszanowanie porządku prawnego" - podkreśla sędzia. 

Kamila Biedrzycka gości Renatę Kim z Newsweek Polska oraz Agatę Szczęśniak z OKO.press. Publicystki analizują kulisy powołania sędziego Kapińskiego i zaskakujące działania prezydenta. Czy Karol Nawrocki RUGA Cenckiewicza i Kaczyńskiego, działając "NA ZŁOŚĆ PREZESOWI"? Ekspertki oceniają, że dla Nawrockiego najważniejsze jest być w opozycji do rządu. – Sławomir Cenckiewicz niepotrzebnie reaguje na gorąco i przez to wytraca swój wielki autorytet – ostrzega Marian Kowalski. Publicysta skrytykował personalne wojenki w obozie niepodległościowym, które wybuchły po nominacji sędziego Kapińskiego przez prezydenta Karola Nawrockiego.

Decyzja prezydenta Karola Nawrockiego o powołaniu Zbigniewa Kapińskiego na urząd I prezesa Sądu Najwyższego wywołała lawinę komentarzy i otwartą krytykę ze strony lidera PiS, Jarosława Kaczyńskiego. Jacek Sasin studzi jednak emocje i staje w obronie głowy państwa. – Podjął taką decyzję, ja to szanuję – zadeklarował, wskazując, kto dzisiaj jest prawdziwym wrogiem prawicy. 

Powołanie Zbigniewa Kapińskiego na stanowisko I prezesa Sądu Najwyższego wywołało kontrowersje. Sekretarz Stanu w Kancelarii Prezydenta RP Wojciech Kolarski w Polskim Radiu 24 ocenił, że prawnicza kariera Kapińskiego "od samego początku jest przykładem modelowej kariery sędziego".

Prezydent Karol Nawrocki nominował Zbigniewa Kapińskiego na stanowisko I Prezesa Sądu Najwyższego, co zostało odebrane jako wyraźny sygnał usamodzielnienia się głowy państwa wobec sugestii Jarosława Kaczyńskiego. Nowy prezes, znany z krytyki kontrowersyjnych ustaw dyscyplinujących sędziów oraz dbałości o czystość składów sędziowskich, staje przed zadaniem zakończenia destrukcyjnego konfliktu w wymiarze sprawiedliwości. Były Szef BBN Sławomir Cenckiewicz publicznie zaatakował decyzję Karola Nawrockiego, ale jego stary kolega z okresu publikacji książki "SB a Lecha Wałęsa" Piotr Gontarczyk zdecydowanie stanął po stronie nowego prezesa SN. – To była znakomita decyzja pana prezydenta – mówi historyk. 

 Wewnętrzne napięcia w obozie prawicy coraz trudniej ukryć. Piotr Semka w rozmowie komentował relacje między prezydentem Karolem Nawrockim a Prawem i Sprawiedliwością, spór wokół nominacji sędziego Kapińskiego oraz głośne wystąpienie Sławomira Cenckiewicza. – „Część PiS jest nieufna wobec Morawieckiego” – stwierdza publicysta.

This was the best way to close out this season! In this episode we would like to introduce Kapi'olani CC graduate, Sergeant First Class (SFC) Ken Takemura, recruiter for the Hawai'i Army National Guard. His journey may not fall under the "typical" pathway but it is more common than you think. As one of three with a single mom, he had to figure out how to make it work with the resources provided. He made some huge sacrifices at a young age that includes working full-time, fulling his duties with the Hawai'i Army National Guard, and taking courses at Kapi'olani CC that helped create the best version of himself. He adds how "everyone has their own clock" and how learning is a lifelong process no matter where you go. Please enjoy our season closer and share widely!

This Farrington High School graduate has been doing amazing things in the hospitality industry. He demonstrated his grit and determination through many of his accomplishments such as the 2024 Leader of the Year Award with Embassy Suites to his 2025 Na Poʻe Paʻahana Engineering and Maintenance Person of the Year. We are so excited to share with you all another amazing interview with a former Kapiʻolani CC student, Ms. Sofia Matias. She talks about coming from humble beginnings to traveling the globe. She credits her mom who provided the space and support to truly be her genuine self. Even after completing her Bachelorʻs degree in Political Science in 2021, she is still a life long learner. Her words of advice include to always be curious and to take risks and one of her many gems was "I donʻt know what I want to be but I know how I want to feel" when talking about her future self. She also has a podcast called "The Wāhine Collective". Please enjoy and share widely. She talks about how one of her Early Admit courses called IS 109 taught by Kumu Losch, helped discover her passion in music. She her strength and resiliency got her through some very challenging times and in the end, graduated in May of 2024 with her Associate in Science in Music and Entertainment Learning Experience (MELE) degree with a concentration in Music Business and Production.
