We had the pleasure of interviewing Keith Wallen over Zoom video!BREAKING BENJAMIN guitarist KEITH WALLEN will drop his latest solo album Infinity Now on May 3 via Rise Records.Wallen has shared the video for "The Wolf”. "'The Wolf' is a song and a concept that I felt a lot of us can identify with," Wallen says. "We've all known those people that for whatever reason we just can't break ourselves away from them. An addiction on every level, all the while knowing it's a toxic situation. You break all those promises to yourself that you'll stay away, but ultimately there you are again."Commenting on the video, he shares, "The video for 'The Wolf' was shot in a beautiful house in south Nashville. Directed by Courtney Dellafiora, we wanted an intimate look and setting that was reminiscent of waking from a dream in the middle of the night, and then grabbing the guitar and playing the song. The most exciting thing of all with getting to work with 'Bane,' the real live wolf actor and his amazing training staff for the shoot! That was a first for me, and I couldn't be happier how the video turned out."ABOUT KEITH WALLEN:Keith Wallen is a prolific songwriter responsible for soaring melodies and hypnotic hooks heard across modern rock radio. The West Virginia-born troubadour uses his solo work as a vehicle to explore his multifaceted passions, moving seamlessly from the smart pop of '80s favorites like The Police and Depeche Mode to the big moody riffs of '90s grunge heroes like Alice In Chains, Soundgarden, and Stone Temple Pilots. His co-writing collaborations include compositions with Saint Asonia, Fuel, We Came As Romans, Red, Dorothy, and Korn guitarist Brian "Head" Welch's Love And Death. Wallen bares his soul as a solo artist with earnest resolve, powering his honest anthems with commanding vocals. A former member of Adelitas Way, Keith was among his first calls when Benjamin Burnley decided to reform and reconfigure his band. Dark Before Dawn, Breaking Benjamin's powerhouse comeback, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Ember followed in 2018.Keith's self-produced acoustic and piano-driven Allies EP arrived in 2014. His debut solo album, 2021'sThis World Or The Next, featured "Dream Away," a song streamed 1.4M times on Spotify alone. His second solo album, Infinity Now, includes production and co-writing contributions from Kevin Thrasher (RIVALS, Jelly Roll) and work with Dan Braunstein (Spiritbox, Dayseeker) and Andrew Baylis (Sleeping With Sirens, Jelly Roll, Brantley Gilbert).Produced by Kevin Thrasher (Jelly Roll, RIVALS) and mixed by Joel Wanasek (Rain City Drive, Scott Stapp), Keith's sophomore solo album, Infinity Now, extends a warm invitation into the singer/songwriter's heart and mind. Hard rock bombast meets intimate pensiveness via engaging songs like "Blackout," "Strings," and first single, "Headspace Holiday."As guitarist for Breaking Benjamin, a solo artist or songwriting collaborator, the common threads through Keith Wallen's work are honesty, authenticity, and heartfelt spirit. We want to hear from you! MASSIVE show today as we announced Act 1 in the Altra Rocks! Summer Concert Series at Copeland Park & Events Center. Seether, Skillet, Fuel, 10 Years, and Keith Wallen on Saturday, May 4th! We definitely talked about the incredible weather we've been experiencing recently, got an update on the shooting at the KC Chiefs Super Bowl parade, and talked about how many hours we spend in the kitchen every year. Had a wonderful story about a cop that saved a child's life after a motorcycle traveling 100mph crashed into the vehicle the child was riding in. We discussed our upcoming Opening Day bus trip to Am-Fam Field to see the Brewers & Twins on Tuesday, April 2nd, and Shaw was able to figure out this week's movie clip during "You're Killin' Me, Shaws", so Zach didn't win Brian's Morning-Show money! During today's "Bad News with Happy Music", we had stories about a candlelight vigil for a Hooters in West Virginia, high school kids who need permission slips to watch Disney movies in school, a guy who modified a toy car so that it can go 92mph, some criminals who stole over $600 worth of ice cream, the world's LARGEST snake has been found, a lawsuit concerning dating apps being addictive, a security company that had a major glitch, a clumsy bar dog in Scotland, and a guy in Canada who was catfishing dudes with a hole in a sheet.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Listen to “The Wolf” on all streaming platforms here: https://orcd.co/wescagethewolf “I hope this song resonates with the masses and is embraced as a symbolic work of art that encourages triumph and hope,” says Cage. “‘The Wolf' is about the spiritual dichotomy of the higher and lower self.” To further illustrate his vision, Cage has released the official music video for “The Wolf,” which recently premiered on Metal Injection. Produced by Glitter and Gold Media, and filmed at Le Grand Restaurant in Los Angeles, California, the video shows Cage contending with darkness while searching for the light. Cagenotes, “In the video, I play the two contrasting incarnations of the same character. His lower self, in his case, is one of destitution, zero self control, addiction, oblivion and failure, while his higher self is depicted through a being who is of power, elevation, awareness, organization and overall success. Both forces live in us all.” By Cage's own admission, battles with addiction once saw him digging his own grave. An advocate for recovery who went to the depths of despair and emerged that much stronger, Cage's music speaks with a wisdom beyond his years, shaped by hardened experience. Now a dedicated family man in his early 30s, Cage embarks on a courageous new chapter, creating ambitious hard rock no less lacking in authenticity or edge but designed to connect on a bigger scale. His music is equal parts reflective and inventive, with hooks that resonate with diverse crowds.

As guitarist and backing vocalist, he's brought his tireless enthusiasm to Breaking Benjamin since the multi-platinum rock band's 2014 reformation, appearing on Dark Before Dawn (2015) and Ember (2018), as well as countless worldwide tours. As solo singer, songwriter, and performer, Keith explores everything from melancholy balladry to inventively re-imagined pop music. He draws upon a deep well of experience and inspiration. His father was a ‘60s crooner and his mother was a professional dancer. He heard big band standards arouse the house. Quite simply, music (and the arts) are part of his DNA.Wallen first enjoyed Active and Modern Rock radio success with the Knoxville, Tennessee based Copper, which he co-founded with a friend he'd known since first grade back in West Virginia. During his four-year stint with Las Vegas rockers Adelitas Way, which included two full length albums and three co-writing credits, Wallen found himself rubbing shoulders with tour and festival mates like Guns N' Roses and Deftones. With Wallen part of the reconfigured lineup, Breaking Benjamin's powerhouse comeback album Dark Before Dawn debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 in 2015 and went gold a year later. “The Diary of Jane,” a single from 2006's Phobia, was certified triple-platinum in September 2019.Beginning with his 2014 debut EP, Allies, Keith has used his solo work as a vehicle to explore his multifaceted passions, moving seamlessly from the smart pop of his ‘80s favorites like Tears For Fears and The Police to the big and moody riffs of Metallica and Alice In Chains. Subsequent singles explore everything from synth-pop to dark grunge. As guitarist for Breaking Benjamin, a solo artist, and songwriting collaborator, the common threads through all of Keith Wallen's work is honesty, authenticity, and heartfelt spirit.Take some zany and serious journeys with The Pipeman aka Dean K. With the release of their highly anticipated new album - 'Perfectly Preserved' - and a globally streamed album release concert only a week away, Love and Death, the anthemic hard rock project spearheaded by Brian 'Head' Welch (Korn) and Jasen Rauch (Breaking Benjamin) have revealed the full list of special guests joining them as they take to the stage for the first time in eight years. Joining the band for their epic streaming event on February 12th will be Lacey Sturm of Flyleaf, Keith Wallen of Breaking Benjamin and Matty Mullins of Memphis May Fire. Tickets available here.    The band have also shared a clip of behind the scenes rehearsal footage for the event, which can be viewed here or by clicking the image below. The official trailer for the event can be viewed here.    Speaking on his excitement for the upcoming streaming event, Brian "Head" Welch shares:    "Regarding the album release concert February 12, I'm actually quite shocked that we are going to pull off such an amazing event with some special very guests who live in different states–all during a world-wide pandemic!"    Love and Death have also treated fans to the third new track from 'Perfectly Preserved'. Titled "The Hunter" and featuring Keith Wallen from Breaking Benjamin, the track is accompanied by a thought provoking lyric video providing a visual commentary to the lyrical theme of the song, showing the state our society currently finds itself in. The video for "The Hunter" can be found by clickinghttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfa4PmIzGr0&feature=youtu.be                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Elaborating on the meaning behind the new track and it's visual accompaniment, Welch adds    "We've been very fortunate to have such a professional team around this project to help us put out such quality content with our latest release. Our newest track "The Hunter” feat. Keith Wallen is no exception. Naro Studios along with Soft Surrogate really helped get our message across in "The Hunter” regarding the many different crises that our society in America has been facing as of late. It truly is a work of art."   "The Hunter" follows the release of lead single "Down" which was released in November 2020, marking the band's first new music in 8 years and subsequent track "White Flag". Since its release, "Down" has hit 1.2 million total global streams to date with the official music video and lyric video amassing 937k YouTube views to date.    About Love and Death    Love and Death began with the similar raw, authentic emotional honesty that drove singer/guitarist Brian “Head” Welch to multi-platinum, Grammy Award winning heights as a cofounder of genre trailblazers Korn. Forged as an outlet for recovery and redemption in a season of change, the formation of Love and Death resulted in the dynamic 2013 debut Between Here & Lost. The album spoke plainly to the hearts of similarly disenfranchised fans all across the world.    Love and Death now return with Perfectly Preserved, a crushing yet accessible full-length follow-up, driven by the spiritual resilience inherent in the first record, combined with an even starker depiction of real-life struggle. Anger, broken relationships, lowered self-worth, and the collision of optimistic values with oppressive systems are all on display, from the arresting refrains of “Tragedy,” “Death of Us,” and “Affliction,” to the bold, conqueror driven anthem of “White Flag.” Simply put, it is heavy music to vigorously confront depression, heartbreak, and pain.   Perfectly Preserved marks the introduction of guitarist, bassist and co-songwriter Jasen Rauch as a full-fledged member of the band, as well as second time producer for Love and Death (co-production from Joe Rickard). Jasen, best known as an integral part of chart-topping rockers Breaking Benjamin, produced Love and Death's first album in 2013. Completing this definitive lineup as they charge into this new chapter are the band's original guitarist, JR Bareis, who now shares vocals with Welch, and powerhouse drummer Isaiah Perez.    Much like A Perfect Circle or Stone Sour, Love and Death isn't a “side project” or replacement for the guys' respective bands. It's an extension and companion, offering each of them a unique outlet to explore different aspects of their creative passions.    It's also an opportunity for further collaboration with their friends from other bands. “The Hunter” features Jasen's Breaking Benjamin bandmate (and solo artist) Keith Wallen, who was also a major co-writer on the project, and longtime comrade and former Flyleaf singer, Lacey Sturm lends her vocals to a metallic rendition of a surprising pop cover.    As their fans have learned to expect, Love and Death are fearless in their open examination of contradictions and failure, making confessional music with an underlying anchor of purpose and hope. Like the band's very moniker suggests, both ‘Love' and ‘Death' are very present in all that they do.     Love and Death Are Brian “Head” Welch – Vocals, Guitar Jasen Rauch – Bass JR Bareis – Guitar, Vocals Isaiah Perez – Drums   My thoughts on the Hunter straight away you are hit in the face with melody plenty of punch and drive from the guitars with some lovely tones, Keith wallen vocals are out of this world and fit so well with the track, production is crisp and clean and for me is the perfect boarder for the track to be placed into , overall a great track and I can't wait for this album.   Pleased to announce Setting The Tone's Interview with JR from Love and Death I recently got the chance to sit down with JR from Love and Death to discuss their release of the new album Perfectly Persevered released on the 12.2.2021 Okay continuing with our Love and Death special, we now have Setting The Tone's interview with JR from Love and Death,Once again, a huge thank you to JR, I wish the guys all the best with the release of the album Perfectly Persevered   Love And Death links can be found below. http://www.loveanddeathmusic.com https://www.facebook.com/LoveandDeathMusic https://twitter.com/LoveDeathMusic https://youtube.com/user/LoveandDeathMusic7 https://www.instagram.com/loveanddeathmusic/ https://open.spotify.com/artist/4nrzg6bzMCRGsdQ5eD4d19?si=rzm_V1nUQuCfM-4XqpaQcw https://music.apple.com/us/artist/love-and-death/517704185     Check out the latest vide for.
