A flurry of news on Duke hit the feed today so Donald and Jason jumped on the Duke Basketball Roundup to chat about it. First up, we have another member of the 20226 team as Jack Scott, a wing from Princeton has committed to play at Duke. Jack figures to be a deep bench/practice player for the most part but the podcast gang have plenty of thoughts about how he fits and what he does for Duke. After the break, there is a ton of news coming out of the NBA Draft combine. Isaiah Evans isn't there (someone remind Jason that we need to talk about that), Tyrese Proctor isn't player, and we are getting measurements on Cooper, Kon, and Manman. The DBR Podcast has all the Duke news you could want as we await the lottery and learn where Copper will be planting his Flagg next season. Learn more about your ad choices. III. ManMan is the special creation of God, made in His own image. He created them male and female as the crowning work of His creation. The gift of gender is thus part of the goodness of God's creation. In the beginning man was innocent of sin and was endowed by his Creator with freedom of choice. By his free choice man sinned against God and brought sin into the human race. Through the temptation of Satan man transgressed the command of God, and fell from his original innocence whereby his posterity inherit a nature and an environment inclined toward sin. Therefore, as soon as they are capable of moral action, they become transgressors and are under condemnation. Only the grace of God can bring man into His holy fellowship and enable man to fulfill the creative purpose of God. The sacredness of human personality is evident in that God created man in His own image, and in that Christ died for man; therefore, every person of every race possesses full dignity and is worthy of respect and Christian love.
Week four of ASU's spring practice kicked off on Monday with a session that featured some big plays, loud hits, a the defense getting the edge. Get a rundown of the action and hear from ASU freshman running back Demarius "Man Man" Robinson.

Raphas Part: 27:20 min. A game at upstart SMU was supposed to be one of the biggest challenges left on Duke's schedule and most folks expected a close contest that would likely no be decided until the final minutes. It didn't take long for Duke to dispel that notion. The DBR Podcast crew cannot gush enough about this game where Duke jumped all over SMU and never let up for a second. Tyrese Proctor, Manman, Caleb Foster, and several guys get shout-outs but it is the performance of Cooper Flagg that really stands out as he impacts every aspect of the contest on both ends of the floor. A word of warning -- be careful as you listen or you might get caught up in a wee bit of irrational exuberance... the guys even calculate Duke's chances of winning out the rest of the regular season. The Duke Blue Devils didn't look great in a win against Incarnate Word, but a win's a win. Donald and Jason jump on quickly after the game to recap it on Episode 672. Duke was led by a career night from Khaman Maluach, who was the star of the first half. Isaiah Evans was the pace car in the second half. But while ManMan had a great night and Evans had a great half, Duke struggled on offense. After the headlines, Donald and Jason get to the good and bad from this game. It was a game where Duke really struggled to put Incarnate Word away in the first half and let them hang before the defense took over in the second half to make it a bigger win. Still, they needed to play through yet another slow start and needed to have more intensity and mental sharpness throughout the game. After the break, we discuss Maalik Murphy's decision to enter the transfer portal. He will not play for Duke in the bowl game against Ole Miss, and we discuss his season at Duke. We wish him the best as he moves on and we talk about the state of the portal in college football. Despite many fans being angry at him leaving and the transfer portal at large, Duke has so far had it pretty easy despite the high profile departure. And, help could be on the way. The Blue Devils took care of business in resounding fashion against another overmatched opponent on Friday night, hitting the century mark as they defeated the Army Black Knights. When the threes weren't working, Duke pounded the glass to stake themselves to a nice lead. And then, when the threes began to fall, the rout was on. The Duke Basketball Roundup breaks it all down from Manman's board dominance to a sterling showing by the Duke bench to Cooper's overall excellence (and his cramps). But, ever the analysts, Jason and Donald don't just focus on the good they saw, there is plenty of conversation about what Duke needs to work on as we prepare for much stiffer tests in coming weeks, including Kentucky in just a couple days. Today on the W&J show, the boys talk about companies going back and forth with DEI policies, and a horse named Man Man that keeps getting violated at night.
Here on the DBR Podcast, we get by with a little help from our friends. Jason and Donald welcome in dozens of fans of the podcast to their first ever live podcast. It was a huge weekend of Duke sports so there is plenty to talk about. It all begins with a recap of the exhibition win over Lincoln. The podcast crew (and friends) enjoyed the coming out party of Cooper Flagg and Kon Knueppel (who we are nicknaming Kon Ktripple). The guys also saw very positive things from Tyrese, Manman, and Maliq as Duke unveiled a lethal attack and also showed themselves to be a team full of long, pesky defenders. I mean, how can you not enjoy a 50+ point beatdown? After the break, the party continues with a look at the big, big football win on Friday, Duke's first ever victory over Florida State and a statement making win that ensures Duke is bowl eligible. There is much praised for the resiliency of this crew, especially the impressive defense. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
