The Steelers agreed to terms with LB Malik Harrison, formerly of the Baltimore Ravens, on Monday so we discuss what he brings to Pittsburgh and the contract he will reportedly sign. We also discuss how his addition played a part in LB Elandon Roberts agreeing to terms with the Las Vegas Raiders on Monday night. We discuss what Roberts signed for as well. The Steelers seem poised to sign CB Darius Slay after the Philadelphia Eagles officially release him, so we discuss what his addition to the team might mean. Monday was a busy day for the Steelers when it comes to them having several of their unrestricted free agents agreeing to terms with other teams, so we go over that list of players. The Steelers have built a large compensatory draft pick value so far this offseason, so we address that topic during this show. Gio is feeling relieved that the Giants and Jets seasons are over. Gio actually bet on the Giants yesterday and it was a rocking chair spot for sure. Jerry did a 6-leg women's college basketball parlay. Gio has been seeing Theo Von clips on social media. We also took calls from people that enjoy the comedy of Jo Koy. C-Lo returns for an update and tells us Ron Rivera has been fired and the Commanders have hired a former Warriors executive to help with a head coach and football operations person. And the Panthers have fired their GM. Bill Belichick met with the media this morning and had zero information. He said he's under contract and will keep doing what he's doing. Rob Saleh talked about the adversity they faced and ending on a high note. The Giants beat the Eagles and many Giants could be moving on, including Saquon and Tyrod Taylor. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about NFL coaches that have been fired since last night. Gio brought up the Miami mall incident where there were rumored to be 8 to 10 foot aliens. It was teenagers fighting, of course. We talked more about Jo Koy hosting the Golden Globes.

Her research and teaching focus on American politics, Black ethnic politics, campaigns and elections, and public opinion. Prof. Greer's book Black Ethnics: Race, Immigration, and the Pursuit of the American Dream (Oxford University Press) investigates the increasingly ethnically diverse black populations in the US from Africa and the Caribbean. She finds that both ethnicity and a shared racial identity matter and also affect the policy choices and preferences for black groups. Professor Greer is currently working on a manuscript detailing the political contributions of Barbara Jordan, Fannie Lou Hamer, and Stacey Abrams. She recently co-edited Black Politics in Transition, which explores gentrification, suburbanization, and immigration of Blacks in America. She is a member of the board of The Tenement Museum in NYC, The Mark Twain House in Hartford, CT, Community Change in Washington, DC, and serves on the Advisory Board at Tufts University in Medford, MA.   She is a frequent political commentator on several media outlets, primarily MSNBC, WNYC, and NY1, and is often quoted in media outlets such as the NYTimes, Wall Street Journal, and the AP.
