Welcome Back No-Problem Parents! Are you or your teen at your wit's end? Is stress, anxiety, depression, anger, regret, self-doubt, or mind-chatter, ruining your life? Is it holding you back, destroying your happiness, or impacting your health, sleep, relationships, or work? Are you longing to feel good, sleep well, smile more, and just be able to enjoy life? “I've found fast, easy, and reliable techniques. My guest today can help you.   Meet Julian Robus: Your Guide to Finding Happiness and Healing Julian Robus knows the depths of despair and the journey to recovery intimately. At the age of 45, in December 2008, he found himself on the brink of hopelessness. In a world rife with quick fixes and distractions, Julian took a different path. He never believed in the crutches of alcohol, or drugs, and didn't find success in therapy. So he embarked on a quest to discover a natural way out of his anguish. Julian knew there had to be an alternative, a lifeline that didn't require pharmaceuticals or traditional counseling. He cast a wide net, exploring various avenues for healing – from NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) to EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), from Life Coaching to Reiki, and even venturing into the world of hypnosis. But it wasn't until 2010 that he stumbled upon what he would call "proper, real meditation." Meditation became the cornerstone of his transformation, the key that unlocked the door to a brighter future. The positive impact was so profound that Julian was inspired to share his newfound knowledge with others. However, he was steadfast in his commitment to only teach when he had achieved a place of genuine well-being himself. Seven years later, while on a walk with his loyal canine companion, Julian's empathetic nature shone through. A neighbor confided that his wife was grappling with mental health issues, and without hesitation, Julian extended a helping hand. Through just nine happiness recovery sessions, this woman experienced a remarkable turnaround, reclaiming her joy and resilience. Now, Julian Robus is on a mission to empower struggling adults and teens with the life-changing techniques that brought him back from the brink. As a stress reduction, mindfulness, and meditation instructor, he guides individuals toward instant relief, the clarity to banish negativity, and the restoration of happiness. Julian's promise is clear: "You'll START FEELING BETTER in 5 minutes – or it's FREE." Julian Robus embodies the belief that within each of us lies the power to overcome, heal, and find joy once more. His journey from despair to enlightenment serves as an inspiring testament to the transformative potential of holistic approaches to well-being. Julian is here to show you that there is indeed another way – a way that leads to a life filled with happiness, hope, and renewed purpose.   Julian founded Happy Onion Living which helps you to: Quickly quiete your racing or negative mind. Understand what negative thoughts, feelings, beliefs, and behaviours really are.  Where they come from.  Why they come up (To help us, believe it or not) And how to progressively neutralize and dissolve them for good.  The BYPRODUCT, side effect, of releasing them the H.O.L. way is natural calmness, happiness, improved mental health, and productivity.   Learn more about Julian and schedule a free consultation: https://www.happyonionliving.com/   __________________________________________________________________________________   Volume 2 No Problem Parenting; Resources and Stories that Create Confidence and Connection AVAILABLE NOW: Paperback or KINDLE   No-Problem Parenting; Raising Your Kiddos with More Confidence and Less Fear! In this episode, we invited Will Robus to speak with us about cybersecurity. Will is the CEO of Outpost Security, a company that provides a revolutionary approach to managing cyber threats. We kickoff the podcast by asking Will to give us a broad picture of the cybersecurity space, and why it's not talked about that much. Will explained the two sides of the industry: public-facing security to protect private information (i.e.: Target breach 2013), and business data protection. Will talked about the dilemma the industry is facing: if one doesn't invest in cybersecurity, the business is obviously in danger of potential breach; but if one is protected too well, they ask themselves: "Why am I spending so much money on this? Nothing has ever happened to me!" Tim asked about Will's thoughts on quantum internet, and we discussed what information decentralization means to the industry: Will believes that no matter how advanced the technology, as long as there's a human element to it, mistakes will always be made. Overall, data is the new gold, and since our daily life, business and even government operations rely on data more than ever, cybersecurity is not a preference, but a necessity.

It is that time of year, when we chat about the cameras that have been announced in 2018 and toss in some commentary by our in-house experts. We also make time for our favorite new lenses and a few accessories and miscellaneous pieces of gear. At the end of the show, we’ll go around the room and offer our thoughts on each of our favorite cameras from this year. While we already touched upon the new Canon and Nikon mirrorless full-frame cameras in a previous episode, we would be remiss if we didn’t acknowledge these big announcements at the top of the show. Other than these long-awaited announcements, 2018 was a comparatively quiet year for other manufacturers. Sony announced the Alpha a7 III Mirrorless full-frame camera at the beginning of the year, and both the RX100 VA and the RX100 VI; Zeiss has everyone curious about its full-frame ZX1 Digital Camera. Leica put out the Leica Q-P Digital Camera along with M10-D.  Fujifilm bookended its year with two big announcements, the Fujifilm X-H1 in February, and the X-T3 later in the year—and added a few smaller X-series cameras, point-and-shoots, and the Instax SQ6 Taylor Swift Edition along the way. Panasonic announced the Lumix DC-GH5S as the update to the G5, and Olympus released the PEN E-PL9. Several lenses were highlighted during the roundup episode, including the Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 Di RXD Lens for Sony E and the Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC CN lens. The Zeiss Batis 40mm f/2 CF lens for Sony E also found favor, as did the Sony FE 24mm f/1.4 GM lens and the Rokinon 24mm f/2.8 AF lens.  In addition to cameras and lenses, we spoke about new bags from Lowepro and Peak Design; lights from Luxli and Profoto; tripods by Robus; and the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and the GoPro Hero 7.   This really was an episode full of insightful gear talk, and we discussed a wide range of products; we hope you enjoy and that it will help with any gift-buying decisions you may be making. Guests: Chelsea Jensen and Shawn Steiner
