The 6-foot-4, 315-pound All-American was widely considered to be among this year's top 10 prospects. However, pre-draft analysis included concern about his short arms, similar to what happened a year ago with cornerback Roger McCreary. The Titans selected McCreary in the second round, and he was one of their most consistent performers throughout the 2022 season. ... Skoronski was the first of six picks Tennessee made in this year's draft. All six were on offense, which is a franchise first. ... For the second year in a row, the Titans drafted someone they hope will be their quarterback of the future, Will Levis of Kentucky. Levis unexpectedly dropped out of the first round, and his selection -- a year after Malik Willis was picked in the third round -- was not universally celebrated by the fan base. ... To get Levis, the Titans traded up from the No. 41 overall pick to No. 35. By the time they made their third pick, a host of notable wide receivers were chosen, and if there is one position at which this team needed some immediate help, it was wide receiver. ... Tennessee finally selected a receiver in the seventh round. They made Colton Dowell of Tennessee-Martin their final pick (seventh round, 228 overall) and the 30th wide receiver overall selected. ... In his first draft as a general manager, Ran Carthon showed he was willing to be -- when possible -- aggressive. Trai said Peter Skoronski is the best offensive lineman in this draft and described him as an alpha – even comparing him to guys like Alan Faneca and Maurkice Pouncey. Trai has Broderick Jones as his second-best option for the Steelers. Trai talked about players getting pigeonholed as they go into the draft and how they can work their way out of that. Even though Trai loves Skoronski, he'd prefer to get a player without having to trade up and deal away some assets. He mentioned a few guys the Steelers can get with the 32nd overall pick if they don't get one of the top guys in the 1st round. He spoke highly of Dan Moore and thinks Chukwuma Okorafor would be the odd-man-out up front. He suggested going after a defensive tackle or corner at 17 because he thinks offensive line can be had later in the draft. When asked if he wants to trade up for Jalen Carter, Trai said YES YES YES. In the third hour, Mike Mulligan and David Haugh were joined by Cubs Radio analyst Ron Coomer to discuss the team's 6-2 loss to the Dodgers on Thursday and its strong West Coast road trip recently. The Chicago Bears have made some major moves that include the trade with the Panthers for multiple draft picks and D.J. Moore. Plus, they added three big-time free agents Tremaine Edmunds, T.J. Edwards and Nate Davis. The team has also made major strides with quality depth signings that make sense for this roster.However, where is Ryan Poles going to find players to fix the glaring holes left on the offensive and defensive lines? Are there any quality free agents left or will the Chicago Bears need to focus on the 2023 NFL Draft?

BREAKING NEWS: The Giants have signed Daniel Jones to 4-year deal at roughly $160M with potential for more and then franchise tagged Saquon Barkley. After Jones looked like a bust after 2-3 years, what should be the timeline for rookie QBs? The NFL Scouting Combine has wrapped up in Indianapolis. Peter Skoronski had a very good performance, but will the short arms scare other teams away? Some draft analysts have Skoronski listed as a guard instead of a tackle. Mullsy made a push for Broderick Jones because he believes he has the highest ceiling out of the group. Steelers insider Mark Kaboly from The Athletic joined the show. Mark said Andy Weidl can put together the Steelers draft board, but the final call will come from Mike Tomlin, Omar Khan and Art Rooney II. Mark labeled it as the most important draft in decades. Mark doesn't think the Steelers will go get Jordan Addison, as in trade up for him, but he could see him becoming the 17th overall pick if the top offensive linemen and top cornerbacks are gone. Mark talked up Calijah Kancey, but said he was too good for the Steelers to have a shot at 17. Mark said Peter Skoronski is still his top target wit the Steelers first pick because there is still a need to build the offensive line. Mark expects Robert Spillane and Myles Jack to be back, but still expects inside linebacker to be targeted. Mark still thinks Mitch Trubisky would rather be elsewhere instead of signing an extension in Pittsburgh.
