Drake vs Kendrick was in the airwaves but when Shaq released a diss track aimed at Sharpe, further mocking Sharpe's career and questioning his credibility as a sports analyst. This move added a layer of entertainment to their ongoing beef, highlighting the personal nature of their disagreement. The beef between Shaquille O'Neal and Shannon Sharpe centers around comments Shaq made about Nikola Jokic and the 3rd MVP award in four years. During an "Inside the NBA" segment, Shaq expressed his opinion that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander "SGA" deserved the NBA's MVP award over Jokic, despite his respect for Jokic's game.Uncle Shay "Unc" responded on his "Nightcap" podcast, suggesting that Shaq's remarks were rooted in jealousy because Jokic's multiple MVP awards highlight what Sharpe perceives as Shaq's underachievement in his career. Sharpe criticized Shaq for not maximizing his potential, arguing that Shaq could have won more MVPs and championships if he had taken his career more seriously.Did this overshadow the fact that Jokic's is now a 3x MVP and again not a US born player. That Shaq just Kanye West his moment. Or bigger play by media.... Tap in and let us know your thoughts on this Black in Sports episode....
