You have the right to remain silent. Luckily when one of John's employees was suspected of stealing a set of wheels off of a truck, he chose not to exercise that right. After John breaks down the story and makes a few attempts to get the suspect on the air, we finally get him on to tell his side and of course, he's got a lot of excuses. We call Uncle Roy to verify the facts and we even have video proof, but the former employee says he's innocent. Did he do it? You be the judge! Ed Ashurst has cowboyed on the most iconic ranches in Arizona. His experiences working cattle in the mountains, deserts and along the Mexican border have inspired more than a dozen books, both fiction and nonfiction. He is also a working cowboy who has ridden and gathered cattle and horses on over seven thousand square miles of the American West, accumulating over fifty years of experience as a big ranch cowboy. He currently manages a large cattle ranch in southeastern Arizona. He has also been involved in producing rodeos and horse shows, as well as horse sales, and has competed in the rodeo arena for over fifty years. His books are about his life's experiences covering different aspects and scenes that race across his vivid memory and water a fertile imagination. All that he has written originates from stories that are well worn from being told many times. He believes that storytelling is an art form that is no less important than painting or sculpting, and people say that his books read as if the storyteller is there in person. Here is a list of books he was written in the order in which he wrote them: "Miracle or Coincidence," "Real Cowboys," "Wagon Boss," "Mavericks," "Alligators in the Moat," "The Life and Times of Warner Glenn," "Stealin' From The Neighbors," "Charlie Gould," "Stories That Terrell Shelley Told Me," "Mel Potter and Friends," "Kidnapped," and coming soon, "Some of Them Dallied, Some Tied Hard and Fast.” If interested in Ed's books go to Amazon

Imagine being in a record store, just flipping through the LED ZEPPELIN section of albums on November 8, 1971, and finding an album that appeared unfamiliar, mysterious, and perhaps even a bit out of place. The album cover gave no reference as to the band's name or any discernible album title, the back cover had no track listing, there were no pictures of the band. There was nothing. On the front cover, there is nothing more than a framed picture showing an old, bearded man standing with a cane and carrying a large bundle of sticks on his back, hanging on the weathered wall of a semi-demolished home once belonging to someone who has long since passed away. On the back cover, a high-rise apartment building jutting into the bleak, grey sky, surrounded by smaller apartment homes and lush greenery in the foreground. On the spine of the album, where one would expect to see the name of the band and the name of the album, there were only four distinct, unusual symbols. In time, it would come to be known by many names: RUNES, ZOSO, UNTITLED, and the most common name of them all, LED ZEPPELIN IV, which would go on to become the biggest selling album in the band's catalog and one of the top 10 biggest selling albums in the history of ALL music. Get ready to “have a good August” and remember that “sometimes words have 12 meanings” because it's time to take “Dry July” a step further and step up your “pause game” while we share some kind words regarding our neighbors that were likely caused by a case of “Alabama jet lag”. Discover the only other thing that was missing from Gojira's historic performance at the Olympic opening ceremonies other than “dragons and more fire”, understand the real reason why we ALL had to learn to play “the recorder” in elementary school, and JOIN US as we pay tribute to the sonic “transmogrification” of LED ZEPPELIN and dive into the enigmatic mystery that is their 4th (and otherwise “Untitled”) album, LED ZEPPELIN IV. Bass player Jordan Kroeger had already been in a band that had dabbled in bluegrass and jam bands, this initial band being Stealin' Strings. He already had a professional relationship with mandolin player Ryan Ogburn, and they eventually formed a 4-piece bluegrass band in Milwaukee. Eventually, the band found where they are now when Kroeger, Ogburn, banjo player Jon Peik, fiddle player Ernest Brusubardis IV, and guitarist Greg Brundage performed together in an Old & In The Way tribute show. This tribute show was the moment the band cemented into the group they are today.
