This explanation of the Mishna can be used to support Rabbi Yossi son of Rabbi Chanina's statement that an item that enters one's courtyard is acquired by the owner, even without their knowledge. Three tannaitic sources are quoted to raise a difficulty with Rabbi Yossi's opinion.  If one rents for a year and the year becomes a leap year, is the rental of the extra month included in the original price or does the renter need to pay extra? According to the Mishna, this depends on whether the agreement was for months or a year. If the agreement mentions both months and years, the Mishna rules that the money of the leap year month is divided. Rav disagrees with this opinion and Shmuel and Rav Nachman offer opinions as well.

That's what the world might say of God's plan to save us through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. If you've ever felt like society mocks the beliefs of Christians, St. Paul reveals why in this part of his Corinthian letter. The wisdom of God makes little sense to a dying world. The Corinthian congregation was mostly made up of people the world would have considered downtrodden and undesirable but God had called them to be saints. In this episode, Pastors Booe and Adle consider the status of the Corinthian saints and how society looks upon Christians today. Manca in Izidor sta povedala, zakaj sta se odločila za življenje na kmetiji v Velikih selih pri Adlešičih in kaj izdelujeta iz ovčjega mleka.

Première femme à diriger l'Estonie, cette femme politique de 44 ans s'est imposée depuis le début de la guerre en Ukraine comme la voix de la fermeté des pays baltes contre la Russie et pour un soutien total à Kiev. Une position qu'elle défendra à nouveau lors du prochain sommet de l'Otan. Alors que la tension est montée ces derniers jours autour de l'enclave russe de Kaliningrad, à la frontière lituanienne, la question de la sécurité aux limites est de l'Otan sera plus que jamais au programme du prochain sommet de l'Alliance Atlantique, prévu à Madrid les 29 et le 30 juin prochains. L'Estonie de Kaja Kallas, qui est membre de l'Union européenne et de l'Otan, compte bien peser pour un renforcement de la présence militaire occidentale aux frontières des pays baltes. Si l'Otan garde la même stratégie militaire concernant les pays baltes, « Tallinn et des siècles d'histoire et de culture » en Estonie, mais aussi « nos habitants, notre nation » seraient « rayés de la carte » en quelques jours en cas d'invasion russe, prévenait encore jeudi 23 juin Kaja Kallas, lors d'un entretien donné à la presse internationale. Elle souhaite que l'Otan triple ses effectifs militaires dans les pays baltes, en y installant une division complète, soit 20 000 à 25 000 hommes environ. Kaja Kallas est en effet persuadée que l'Estonie et ses voisins sont les prochains sur la liste de Moscou. « Quand mon père [ancien Premier ministre estonien] menait les négociations pour que l'Estonie adhère à l'Otan, dans les années 2000, on lui demandait souvent, “pourquoi ?” et on lui disait que la Russie n'était plus une menace, expliquait-elle le 9 mars devant le Parlement européen. Mais nous connaissons bien notre voisin, aujourd'hui comme hier. » Depuis le début de la guerre en Ukraine le 24 février, Kaja Kallas multiplie les interviews dans les médias internationaux. Avec toujours derrière elle le drapeau estonien, le drapeau européen et le drapeau de l'Otan, elle défend un soutien inconditionnel à Kiev. Une famille déportée en Sibérie L'ancien ministre et ex-eurodéputé centriste Jean Arthuis (qui a rejoint ensuite le parti d'Emmanuel Macron), a siégé avec Kaja Kallas au Parlement européen jusqu'en 2019, dans l'Alliance des démocrates et libéraux (ADLE), une coalition de centre droit. « Elle était très impliquée et très active, se souvient-il, et j'avais conscience qu'elle ne se contenterait pas de sa mission d'eurodéputée. Il est vrai que sa famille l'a bercée dans la politique », dit aussi celui qui a côtoyé Siim Kallas, le père de Kaja Kallas, lorsque ce dernier était Commissaire européen. Côté maternel, la Première ministre estonienne rappelle souvent que sa famille a souffert de la répression quand l'Estonie a été annexée après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. « Je viens d'une famille déportée en Sibérie par Staline sous l'Union soviétique », témoignait-elle le 9 mars devant le Parlement européen, dans un tailleur aux couleurs de l'Ukraine. « Ma mère n'avait que six mois quand elle a été envoyée de force avec sa mère et sa grand-mère dans un wagon à bestiaux vers ce que les Estoniens appellent “la terre froide”. » Et quand elle est interviewée par une chaîne de télévision américaine, elle n'hésite pas à reprendre le présentateur. « Merci, mais je suis obligée de vous corriger : nous ne faisions pas partie de l'Union soviétique, nous étions occupés par l'URSS », a-t-elle répondu - poliment, mais fermement - à Fox news, le 15 juin dernier. L'Estonie directement impactée par le conflit en Ukraine L'Estonie est - proportionnellement à son PIB - le premier soutien financier de l'Ukraine. Alors que les négociations entre Moscou et Kiev sont au point mort, Kaja Kallas n'hésite pas à critiquer ceux qui parmi les dirigeants occidentaux peuvent être tentés de pousser l'Ukraine à abandonner une partie de son territoire pour mettre fin à la guerre. Elle ne partage pas non plus les déclarations du président Emmanuel Macron, qui appelait à « ne pas humilier » la Russie. ► À lire aussi : Estonie: les libéraux du Parti de la réforme remportent les législatives « Elle dit qu'il ne faut pas arriver à tout prix à une paix rapidement, mais arriver à une victoire de l'Ukraine, ce qui est assez différent », souligne Céline Bayou, chercheure associée au Centre de recherche Europe-Eurasie de l'Inalco et rédactrice en chef de la revue Regard sur l'est. « Pour Kaja Kallas, si on essaie d'aller plus vite et de négocier trop vite avec la Russie, on risque de laisser le champ libre à Moscou pour recommencer [une guerre dans l'un des pays voisins] et donc on ne résoudra rien », résume-t-elle. Kaja Kallas a gagné en popularité depuis le début de la guerre en Ukraine, mais elle vient de perdre sa majorité au Parlement après des désaccords avec le Parti centriste. Cette formation politique, qui compte dans son électorat une partie de la minorité russophone du pays (environ 30% des Estoniens parlent russe), défendait une hausse des allocations familiales, « parce que l'Estonie a en ce moment l'un des taux d'inflation les plus élevés en Europe, explique Céline Bayou. Les prix de l'énergie ont explosé, car l'Estonie applique les sanctions européennes à l'égard de la Russie, mais aussi, car elle vient de décider qu'elle n'importerait plus ni pétrole ni gaz russes. » La guerre pèse donc sur la situation interne du pays, au point de mener à une crise politique : Kaja Kallas est en ce moment en pleine négociations pour former une nouvelle coalition et tenter de retrouver une majorité au Parlement, quelques mois seulement avant les prochaines élections législatives, prévues en mars 2023.

Boris Grabrijan se je rodil doma na kmetiji dedka Nikolaja Peteha v Velikih Selih pri Adlešičih v Beli krajini. S starši in dvema sestrama je otroštvo preživel v Črnomlju v bloku. Vendar pa so se ves čas vračali na kmetijo pomagat pri kmečkih opravilih. Boris je bil tako navdušen nad delom na kmetiji, da je skoraj vse počitnice preživel tam. Najraje se je ukvarjal s konji in tudi drugo živino, ki jo je vsak dan vodil na pašo. Vendar je življenje prineslo nove poti in izzive in tako je končal pedagoško gimnazijo, se vpisal na biotehniško fakulteto-višješolski študij živinoreje in postal kmetijski inženir živinorejske smeri. Ob tem je bil tudi inovator. Del njegove poti pa je bil tudi na področju politike. Precej se je angažiral pri ustanovitvi Zveze slovenske kmečke mladine in Slovenske kmečke zveze. Bil je kot vodja kabineta ministra za kmetijstvo Cirila Smerkolja leta 1996. Svojo kariero je nato nadaljeval na Kmetijsko gozdarski zbornici Slovenije in se od tam zaradi razhajanj v pogledih vrnil v Belo krajino. Tu pa je bil izbran za direktorja Krajinskega parka Kolpa. Boris Grabrijan je gost v oddaji Razkošje v glavi, njen avtor je Milan Trobič.

Her clients include some really exciting filmmakers such as Alma Har'el, Eva Husson, Aneil Karia, Remi Weekes, Mahalia Belo and Georgia Parris, among many others.  It was really exciting to delve into this side of the industry for the first time and ask Roxana about how she spots talent, how she supports her clients and works with them, whether its at all competitive and what her ambitions are as an agent.  I have to give you a heads up that the sound recording quality on this one isn’t the best, and I deeply apologise for that. A lover of life, Adèle McLay is a mother, wife, great friend, dancer, vegetarian foodie and traveler, coaching entrepreneurs worldwide to achieve greater success in their businesses for 20+ years, and a life coach. She has six books being published by 2016. Leaving investment banking, Adèle bought into a consulting firm, working with New Zealand's biggest corporations, midsize companies and charities, helping them to be more successful. In many ways it was a precursor to her current coaching practice. She still uses her financial skills in property acquisition and management with her husband.
