Hi team, another English episode for you on the menu today - and what a guests honestly. You have to know that I love getting into these conversations from the bottom of my heart. They inspire me so much every time - just the way our new team member does! She had nothing to do with football for the most part of her life just to turn it all around in the blink of an eye and become a true leader, trailblazer and living LEGEND in women's football. And by now you already know that our conversations in this podcast are so much more than JUST business, or JUST sports - they always go deeper. And so did we today: we talked a but about Buddhism, about how we all are interconnected - and therefore can't ignore women - about football, about the first and only club who pays their women's team and men's team equally. Where women's football is headed and so much more. But enough, you should listen for yourself. This is our new team member: Karen Dobres **Schnitt und Postproduktion: Andy Aksen** https://www.aksenmedia.de/ https://www.linkedin.com/in/andyaksen/

In the 1990s, businessman Ramm Mylavaganam created a new way to analyse football matches, which would change how managers and coaches saw the game forever. Whilst trying to sell some high-end massage chairs to Derby County, he found their assistant manager Steve McClaren watching hours of footage of opponents, trying to gain an advantage. This gave him an idea – filming every minute of a match and then analysing the footage could be something football clubs want to invest in. His idea would revolutionise the way football clubs looked at data, players and opponents. He's been speaking to Tim O'Callaghan. Eye-witness accounts brought to life by archive and testimony. Sporting Witness is for those fascinated by sporting history. We take you to the events that have shaped the sports world through the eyes of the people who were there. For nine minutes, you become a fan in the stands as we take you back in time to examine memorable victories and agonising defeats from all over the world. You'll hear from people who have achieved sporting immortality, or those who were there as incredible sporting moments unfolded.Recent episodes explore the forgotten football Women's World Cup, the plasterer who fought a boxing legend, international football's biggest ever beating and the man who swam the Amazon river. We look at the lives of some of the most famous F1 drivers, tennis players and athletes as well as people who've had ground-breaking impact in their chosen sporting field, including: the most decorated Paralympian, the woman who was the number 1 squash player in the world for nine years, and the first figure skater to wear a hijab. You can learn all about fascinating and surprising stories, such as the tennis player who escaped the Nazis, how a man finally beat a horse in a race, and how the FIFA computer game was created.(Photo: ProZone analysing a game between Reading and Manchester United. The Patriots are shorthanded tomorrow against the Jets, but they should still take care of business against a bad team. Who are the top contenders in the NFL this year? There seems to be much more parity this season than in years past, which could help the Patriots make a deep run.
With all the injuries the Patriots have been dealing with this week, who could make the most of their opportunities? Could we see Efton Chism III get involved? How can the Patriots get the one seed, and do they need it to make a deep playoff run?
Mego and Turp react to a feature piece on new Celtics' owner Bill Chisholm. Jaylen Brown has said this season has been his favorite one yet, and it's easy to see why as he has been proving doubters wrong all season. Can the C's make a playoff run when Jayson Tatum returns? Maxx Crosby is not happy with the Raiders after they have shut him down for the rest of the year, could he be traded next offseason?
Six players have already been ruled out for tomorrow's Patriots vs. Jets game. Should the Patriots have any trouble taking care of business? The team could greatly benefit from getting the one seed in the AFC, how likely is that to happen? Which team would the Patriots match up the best with in round one of the playoffs?

Fabrice Ondoa, merci Merci beaucoup.
