Focusing on the future and creating the tools that help produce high-quality bulls for the beef industry – that's the message from the cattle feeding segment back to Angus breeders in this episode. A feeder's top priorities are cattle that stay healthy, get big, marble well and use resources efficiently, and if cattlemen send those kind of raw materials, this episode's guests pledge to make the most of them. If today's cattle are “high-performance athletes,” hear directly from those who are the final step in making them winners.HOSTS: Miranda Reiman and Mark McCullyGUESTS:Tom Fanning, general manager for Pratt Feeders Group, oversees the four yards that make up the feeding company: Buffalo (Okla.) What did we miss? NLD bug, FULLRBF, FTX, anyone? Bitcoin Monthly with BQA and Antomous Bitcoin monthly 0021 In today's episode we got back up to speed on all the software updates that were released over the last two months. BlueWallet has now enabled exporting transaction history and labels and we hope the various wallets out there can agree on a standard for this. Samourai Dojo now allows you to access Fulcrum in your local network and SeedSigner published an experimental release for a custom SeedSigner operating system. This will be a huge jump in security and performance and it will also allow the removal of the microSD card once powered on. SparrowWalllet has added tab icons and it only took them 16 hours to integrate BQAs request to be able to adjust the QR-code density so less good cameras can read them. HodlHodl is now integrated with Trezor, Umbrel allows community app stores and Samourai Wallet has redesigned it's user interface for STONEWALLx2 and Stowaway collaboration as well as introduced a JoinBot for making collaborative spends without manually choosing a collaborator. Getting into the major discussion points of the day we went through the details of both NLD bugs and gave our oppinions on the way the situation was handled by Burak who expoited the bugs. We also take our time to go through the pros and cons of the ongoing discussion around the new option FULLRBF in the pre-release of Bitcoin Core v24.0. Lastly we touch on the accounts of Aaron van Wirdum and Sjors Provoost who attended the pro forma hearing in the case against Tornado Cash developer Alexy Pertsev. Fun times in Riga and mobile competition for peer-to-peer bitcoin exchanges. Bitcoin Monthly with BQA and Antomous Bitcoin monthly 0020 In today's episode I spoke to BQA and Antomous about how much fun they had at the Baltic Honeybadger 2022 conference in Riga. BQA gave a talk during the event for bitcoin beginners and Antomous had a booth representing SeedSigner and Vulcan21. It seems it was a pure bitcoiner event with a high signal-to-noise ratio. One of the larger announcements of the conference was the mobile only peer-to-peer bitcoin exchange “peach”. BQA had the chance to test the app and goes into detail on the setup and workflow. Although we love Bisq and Robosats, this is exactly what we have been waiting for. The app is currently still in beta, but we shouldn't have to wait long for the official release. Speaking of Bisq, they released a minor update with a lot of small improvements. We also talked about two major updates from the two big players in lightning: CLN and LND. MyNode is also working hard to close the gap to the marketplace-based platforms in the node implementation competition and Trezor has finally integrated coin control. To wrap up Antomous let us know that the SeedSigner is finally available again at Vulcan21 and that they are putting out a daily Twitter guide series on handling a SeedSigner. Bitcoin monthly 0019 In today's episode I spoke to BQA and Antomous about tornado cash being shut down and the implications for users of ethereum. Although none of us use ETH it still shows the intent of governments around the world and is a good reminder why decentralisation and bitcoin are so important. We also talked about border wallets and updates to seed tools 2.0. We had a general conversation about the importance of privacy and potential ways businesses could help ensure bitcoin thrives. Healthy cows have healthy calves. However, there's more to it than that: what traits are your livestock passing down? Calving ease, temperament, and maternal instincts are important to consider when breeding. Planning and record keeping are key.
The Beef Quality Assurance has been helping cattle producers keep herds healthy and consumers safe since the late 1970s. Like any successful program, BQA has evolved with producer and consumer needs, instrumental in recent successes in re-building beef demand.

I sat down with Rodolfo and BQA to talk bitcoin, cold card and freedom. Rodolfo is the CEO & Co-founder of Coinkite and has been involved in bitcoin since 2011. He began building bitcoin-only hardware because there was nothing on the market that met his needs. Bitcoiners love the Coldcard hardware wallet and for good reason, When it comes to features, updates and security, nothing really comes close. The work ethic and thought that goes into the features we all love, is relentless. The don't trust verify ethos has never been more achievable than with features like dice rolls, for added entropy, and ability to verify software every step of the way. Everything you could possibly need to become a sovereign individual is available at Coinkite, including seed plates, cold power, micro SD's and dice. The Coldcard way is to strike a balance between hand holding its users to avoid loss while allowing users all the functionality they could possibly desire. They don't dumb it down too much because they don't want to keep their users dumb. This is a philosophy I love. Offer enough to test yourself and learn but make the barrier of entry broad enough to give as many people as possible a chance to embark on the journey. No, it might not the simplest option out there, and maybe this isn't a product for you grandma, but that's ok.
