Election Day is here and lines are long all over Pennsylvania. Yes, 80 million have already voted but if this early morning is an indication, we are just getting started. Early votes should already be counted but amazingly, they are not in most places. Absurd. And we explore exactly what it means IF Kamala were to win this thing. Donald Trump worked overtime until 2:30 am in Michigan at a rally while we all slept. He ran a nearly perfect campaign and now we have to believe in the electorate. We have a few more news and notes from the Chiefs win over the Bucs at Arrowhead and a bit of a sidebar as Harrison Butker's PAC has produced a terrific swing state ad for Christians. Jason Kelce comments for the first time about his incident on Saturday with that jerk of a college football fan and a nostalgic bit of my teenage years is dying off.
Another man has been arrested with all sorts of weapons near a Trump rally in California but was released on $5000 bail. This is an odd one and so far it was not thought to be an attempt on the former president's life. Still, Trump is the toughest person ever for putting himself out there like this. Axios reports the in fighting between Dems is getting worse and why wouldn't it? The can't even trot Obama out there anymore to help this campaign as he tripped up too. Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker used the bye week to rally with Josh Hawley and announce he's starting a political action committee. He's all in now. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson Communist Chinese persecuting human rights lawyers ChinaChange.org reports on the ongoing persecution of human rights lawyers, many of whom have attempted to defend Christians who suffer under draconian controls in the country. For nine years the Communist government in China has continued the repression of these lawyers, to include harassment and restrictions placed upon their relatives as well as young children. International Christian Concern also notes that the Christians arrested and imprisoned for their faith are those who have spoken out against socialism. Party officials have also reportedly encouraged thousands of Christians to take down crosses and images of Jesus hanging in their homes and replace them with pictures of China President Xi Jinping. In addition, Chinese Communist Party officials reportedly told citizens that socialism and President Xi would help them with health and financial worries instead of their Savior Jesus Christ. Some villagers have claimed they were threatened with losing state benefits if they did not comply. The Scripture warns of the man of sin, describing him as ”the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” (2 Thessalonians 2:3-4) China released U.S. citizen after 20-year prison sentence China has released an American citizen who has been locked away in a Chinese prison for 20 years. Trump survives second assassination attempt Former president Donald Trump, the Republican candidate for the 2024 presidential election, survived a second assassination attempt on Sunday afternoon at his West Palm Beach golf course, reports the Associated Press. Suspect Ryan Wesley Routh, age 58, had an AK-47 rifle aimed towards Trump, when authorities arrested him. Palm Beach County Sheriff Ric Bradshaw explained that in a subsequent press conference. BRADSHAW: “Now, in the bushes where this guy was, is an AK-47 style rifle with a scope, two backpacks which were hung on the fence which had ceramic tile in them and a GoPro which he was going to take pictures with.” The New York Post reports a truck belonging to the suspect sports a Biden-Harris sticker on the bumper, and Routh “has exclusively donated to Democratic candidates and causes since 2019.” The gunman had waited nearly 12 hours in a sniper's nest for Donald Trump — who was within 300-500 yards -- when the secret service spotted the rifle and fired upon the would-be assassin. Certainly, God's providential protections have been mercifully granted to the former president! Abortion on ballot in 10 states Abortion is on the ballot in 10 states for this November election, reports LifeNews.com. They include Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Maryland, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New York, and South Dakota. The ballot initiatives of Maryland and Colorado, if passed, would remove all restrictions on killing children in the womb. South Dakota is testing an initiative for first-trimester abortions. The rest are ballot measures allowing for abortion in cases of fetal viability. Majority of Americans want abortion legal The most recent Pew Research data indicates that 63% of Americans want abortion legal in all or most cases, while 36% advocate abortion to be banned in all or most cases. Additionally, 57% of Republicans want abortion illegal in all or most cases while only 14% of those identifying as Democrats would advocate the same thing. Democrats and Independents have become more pro-abortion in their views since 2010 — by about 15%. The Republican Party has remained about the same. The most pro-abortion states in America, according to public opinion, are Hawaii, Massachusetts, Nevada, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, Maryland, Washington, Oregon, and Virginia. The most pro-life states, according to public opinion, are North and South Dakota, Idaho, Arkansas, and Utah. Story we are following from the AP: Butker hits a 51-yard winner for KC after penalty on Bengals safety keeps Chiefs alive By Dave Skretta KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Harrison Butker kept making a lonely walk to midfield after each quarter Sunday to check on the direction of the wind, which tends to swirl inside Arrowhead Stadium. He did it one last time during the 2-minute warning, when his Chiefs were trailing the Bengals by two and trying to give him a winning field-goal attempt. When Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the offense did exactly that, helped along by a pass interference call on Cincinnati safety Daijahn Anthony on fourth down in the final minute, Butker once again headed onto the field as Chiefs fans began to roar. Rarely does he miss. And they didn't expect him to this time. With preternatural calm, Butker drilled the 51-yarder as time expired, giving Kansas City the 26-25 victory. Patrick Mahomes threw for 151 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions, but it was his incomplete pass intended for Rashee Rice on fourth-and-16 from the Kansas City 35 that turned out to be decisive. Related Stories Bengals visit Chiefs in matchup of perennial playoff contenders meeting in rare Week 2 showdown Burrow and the Bengals are bumming again after another last-second loss to Chiefs in Kansas City Taylor Swift back at Arrowhead to watch Travis Kelce and the Chiefs The penalty came just after Kansas City had a long gain on fourth down wiped out by a penalty of its own. Joe Burrow threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns, both to Andrei Iosivas, as the Bengals (0-2) came up empty against one of their biggest nemeses for the third straight time. That includes a loss to Kansas City in the AFC championship game. Evan McPherson's fourth field goal gave the Bengals a 25-23 lead with 5:12 to go, and their defense gave them the ball back. But the Chiefs forced a punt with 2:59 remaining, giving Mahomes and Co. the opportunity to decide the game. Unsportsmanlike conduct Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was penalized for unsportsmanlike conduct in the fourth quarter. Chase was stopped short of the first-down marker on second-and-11, and he appeared to be upset that a flag was not throw for a hip-drop tackle. He got right into the face of referee Alex Kemp, who threw the flag. It forced a third-and-22 at the Chiefs 45, and after a completion to Gesicki got 10 yards back, McPherson kicked the field goal that gave the Bengals a 25-23 lead. “It's pretty clear cut. It's just simply abusive language toward a game official,” Kemp said. “I'm not going to repeat to you what he said, but there was no interpretation with the language that he used. Just abusive language.”

I need to be reminded, sometimes, just how much I love baseball. Wednesday was that day as we traveled to Wrigley Field to watch the Cubs punk the Twins and then watched the Royals rock the Bosox on the flight home. What a day. At Chiefs camp, Harrison Butker met with the media and he was brilliant, as always. And the Chiefs are set to play the Jags Saturday, we have a preview. The Rich Zeoli Show- Full Episode (08/07/2024): 3:05pm- On Tuesday night, Kamala Harris introduced her Vice Presidential pick—Minnesota Governor Tim Walz—while appearing at a campaign event at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA. Will Walz provide any sort of electoral advantage in the 2024 presidential race? Examining Walz's 2022 gubernatorial race, NBC election analyst Steve Kornacki concludes that Walz relied heavily on traditional Democrat voters—and didn't have much luck appealing to rural voters or moderates. Videos of Walz making outlandish, far-left statements are now circulating throughout social media. In one clip, Walz explains that socialism is synonymous with neighborliness. While speaking at the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party Convention in 2018, Walz told attendees that his pro-abortion stance was so radical that even former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) suggested he should moderate his position. In perhaps the most damaging audio, Walz can be heard claiming “there is no guarantee to free speech” if the government determines it is “misinformation" or “hate speech.” 3:15pm- Director of Public Prosecutions of England and Wales Stephen Parkinson explained that the United Kingdom will criminally punish citizens that repost messages that the government deems “hateful.” He also explained that he will appropriate “dedicated police officers” to monitor social media. With Democrat Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz having stated that the First Amendment shouldn't extend to speech the government considers “misinformation” or “hate speech,” could similar laws restricting speech be part of the Harris-Walz campaign's platform? 3:20pm- JD Vance Accuses Tim Walz of Lying About Military Service: Caitlin Doornbos and Josh Christenson of The New York Post write, “veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz of “embellishing” his military career and abandoning his National Guard battalion, highlighting that the now-vice presidential pick for the Democrats never served in combat and retired from service ahead of his unit's 2005 deployment to Iraq. In a letter posted to Facebook in 2018 as he first ran for governor, retired Command Sergeants Major Thomas Behrends and Paul Herr said Walz retired from his 24-year tenure in the National Guard after learning that his battalion would be deployed to Iraq, despite allegedly assuring his fellow troops he would join them.” You can read the full article here: https://nypost.com/2024/08/06/us-news/tim-walz-embellished-military-career-for-years-dropped-from-national-guard-unit-ahead-of-iraq-deployment/ 3:35pm- On his way to a campaign event in Wisconsin (a state where Kamala Harris is also actively campaigning), JD Vance walked up to Air Force 2 on the tarmac to speak with reports—noting that he was willing to answer their questions while Harris continues to avoid them. 3:40pm- While appearing on Fox News, Donald Trump called the Kamala Harris-Tim Walz ticket the “most radical” in U.S. history. 4:05pm- Scott Presler—Executive Director and Founder of Early Vote Action—joins The Rich Zeoli Show to discuss his tireless fight to make sure Pennsylvania goes “red” in November. Pressler also reacts to Tim Walz becoming the Democrat Party's Vice Presidential nominee: “Kamala Harris just chose the most regressive, far left…candidate.” You can learn more about Early Vote Action here: https://earlyvoteaction.com/about/ 4:25pm- Cancel Culture Fail: Zach Jewell of The Daily Wire writes, “Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker signed a 4-year $26 million contract extension on Monday, making him the highest-paid kicker in the NFL on a per-year basis…The three-time Super Bowl-winning kicker sparked outrage after telling the graduating class that his success was all because ‘a girl I met in band class back in middle school would convert to the faith, become my wife, and embrace one of the most important titles of all: homemaker.' She now claims she isn't against fracking, but should anyone believe her? 5:00pm- JD Vance Accuses Tim Walz of Lying About Military Service: Caitlin Doornbos and Josh Christenson of The New York Post write, “veterans have accused Minnesota Gov. Johnson meticulously details Tim Walz's many failures while serving as governor of Minnesota. Johnson writes: “Tim Walz has such a bad record as Minnesota's governor that I was astonished when he landed on Vice President Kamala Harris's vice-presidential shortlist. As Minnesota's Center of the American Experiment has documented, under Mr. Walz Minnesota has become a high-crime state. Student achievement has tumbled as spending on schools has skyrocketed. Per capita gross domestic product has fallen below the national average. Minnesotans have joined residents of New York, California and Illinois in fleeing their home state.” You can read the full editorial here: https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-minnesotan-sizes-up-tim-walz-progressive-vice-president-crime-education-covid-e4e757ec?mod=opinion_lead_pos5 5:20pm- Will Tim Walz's presence on the ticket provide any sort of electoral advantage to Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential race? Examining Walz's 2022 gubernatorial race, NBC election analyst Steve Kornacki concludes that Walz relied heavily on traditional Democrat voters—and didn't have much luck appealing to rural voters or moderates. 5:45pm- NBC News Washington Correspondent Yamiche Aclindor reports that the Harris-Walz campaign is “not engaging on whether or not [Tim Walz] was falsifying his military record.” 5:50pm- While speaking with Robert Costa of CBS News, President Joe Biden said he is not confident there will be a peaceful transfer of power in January 2025 if Donald Trump wins the 2024 presidential election. 6:05pm- Dr. EJ Antoni—Research Fellow in The Heritage Foundation's Grover M. According to Dave, he has already received thousands of direct messages on Instagram. 6:45pm- David Gelman—Criminal Defense Attorney & Surrogate for Donald Trump's Legal Team—joins The Rich Zeoli Show. Tuesday is primary election day in Missouri and Kansas and we'll offer up who's running in the biggest races. In national politics, a Kamala ally apparently leaked her VP choice this weekend. It's a clown show. Thanks to a listener, we're encouraging everyone to start a new trend supporting no tax on tips. Disgraced former coach Jon Gruden, dressed in Chiefs coaching clothes, was on the field with the team this weekend in St. Joe. We'll tell you why. Morgan Wallen wore a #7 Chiefs jersey for his show at Arrowhead Friday night where there was nothing but drama surrounding the event. Of course he knows it's Butker's jersey but there is more to this story. MJ Melendez doesn't get a lot of hits but when he does, they seem to be HUGE. None bigger than pinch hitting in the 9th inning on Sunday. Scottie Scheffler cries his eyes out after winning the gold in golf and a famous singer punishes his fantasy football league losers by making them sing on stage.... and they can't sing at all.
It was pretty clear watching the Olympics opening ceremony that the people in charge of the games don't like you and don't care if you watch. In the name of inclusivity, they are exposed as petty and hateful people trying to hurt you. NBC Sports falls short with some bizarre primetime Sunday night programming with Mike Tirico and completely unfunny comedian John Mulaney that just confirmed for me that they don't care if we watch. The Royals lose two of three from the Cubs but are still in the playoffs as of today. But there's something kind of scary lurking out there amongst Royals fans. I'll tell you what it is. Harrison Butker made news around the Olympics but then Saturday got great news from his coaching staff. Kamala Harris attacks JD Vance as only being loyal to Trump and not to his country. This is maybe the dumbest political I've ever heard a Dem make and Vance hit back ten times as hard with a million truth bombs. Google is suppressing searches about the Trump assassination attempt even as Trump says he plans to go back to Butler for another rally.
Were Harrison Butker's bold statements during his recent Benedictine College commencement speech worth all of the public backlash he received in response? Although many are now hailing the Super Bowl winning NFL kicker as a hero for speaking up, others are calling for him to be fired from the league altogether. What exactly did he say that caused so much outrage and what biblical truths can we gather from the controversial (and now viral) speech? For this midweek podcast, Frank unpacks Harrison Butker's words from a biblical worldview and highlights how Butker called out some of the lies, harmful ideologies, and inconsistencies that our culture and national leaders have been feeding us. During this podcast episode, Frank will answer questions like:Does the book of James teach salvation by works? What does the game of football teach us about morality?Do Christians always have to be “nice” in order to be loving?Did Jesus ever engage in politics? How is Joe Biden “neglecting the weightier matters of the law”?Are biblical gender roles oppressive to women? Is comfort the true meaning of life? What are the pros and cons of becoming a Christian? Later in the episode, Frank will share his own personal experience of being canceled in corporate America due to writing his book ‘Correct, Not Politically Correct: About Same-Sex Marriage and Transgenderism‘ and how it launched him into ministry full-time. He'll also talk about the importance of being willing to speak up (like Butker) as a means to fight back against cancel culture and to illustrate TRUE love, even if it comes at a cost. And if you want to learn more about how to stand up for truth in a toxic culture, consider enrolling at Frank's alma mater, Southern Evangelical Seminary! To view the entire VIDEO PODCAST be sure to join our CrossExamined private community. The Chief's kicker, Harrison Butker sparked a major controversy when he gave the commencement speech at Benedictine college, where he promoted traditional family values and a biblical worldview. The meltdown and vitriol towards Butker in the media and from celebrities such as Pearl Jam's Singer, Eddie Vedder has been frankly surprising. Today we discuss what Butker said; how his detractors have lied about his speech; and finally we play the viral clips from Eddie Vedder so you can decide who is being more honest, righteous, and reasonable. ► Buy John's new book, Wimpy, Weak, And Woke http://www.johnlcooper.com/wimpyweakwoke https://a.co/d/j2JNRCV ► Subscribe to the podcast: www.johnlcooper.com Apple: http://bit.ly/cooperstuff Spotify: http://bit.ly/cooperstuffspotify CastBox: http://bit.ly/cooperstuffcast ► Connect with John L. Chiefs kicker Harison Butker's “controversial” commencement address continues to make waves and spark outrage. Now it's former ESPN personality Michelle Beadle's turn to melt down. Whitlock's former colleague tells the Super Bowl champ to “go f*** yourself." Eloquent words from a sports journalist who Jason contends never would have had the same reaction before the proliferation of social media, and he has the proof to show it. Plus, Butker's teammate Travis Kelce finally breaks his silence. No one will be shocked by Mr. Taylor Swift's thoughts. Steve Kim chimes in on Beadle's unhinged rant, plus the pair discuss Stan Van Gundy's take on Butker, Angel Reese's continuing assault on Caitlin Clark, and Dan Le Batard's reaction to Stephen A. Smith's “Up For Debate.” Shemeka Michelle joins “Fearless” to talk about one the most memorable moments in "Wheel of Fortune" history. We want to hear from the Fearless Army!! Kansas City Chiefs Kicker, Harrison Butker, recently gave a controversial commencement address at Benedictine College where he drew on some popular conservative talking points about Pride Month, Covid 19 policies, and the calling of women in the home. Phil, Skye, and Kaitlyn discuss the problems they had with the speech, as well as their frustrations with some of the criticism of the speech, and how Butker's views seem to have been influenced more by conservative politics than the historic Catholic position on these issues. Then, Kaitlyn sits down with Latasha Morrison to talk about her new book, "Brown Faces, White Spaces." They discuss the importance of understanding historical context to grasp the roots and impacts of systemic racism, and practical ways that churches and individuals can engage in the work of racial reconciliation. Plus, a megachurch in Texas tried to manipulate a traffic study for a stop light, and Phil thinks he has proof that News of the Butt is the best part of the podcast. Today, we discuss Pope Francis' recent comments about the fundamental goodness of human beings. The pope made the remarks in a "60 Minutes" interview with Norah O'Donnell and immediately sparked controversy online. We explain why he is wrong about this and explain the doctrine of total depravity. Plus, Harrison Butker's speech caused a stir over on "The View" when Sara Haines criticized the Catholic athlete for attending the Traditional Latin Mass, called Catholicism an "extreme religion," and suggested some people abuse Christianity by cherry-picking Bible verses. We take another look at Butker's speech and explain some of the parts we disagree with. Unlike his critics, NFL kicker Harrison Butker is fearless. The Chiefs star used an invitation to deliver the commencement address at Benedictine College to spread a pro-God, pro-family message. Apparently, that's not allowed in today's society, not even at a Catholic institution. Now, Butker is facing backlash from feminists, the NFL, and even the municipality of Kansas City. Jason dives into the controversy and calls out those protesting the loudest, like Shannon Watts, a gun violence prevention activist and the founder of Moms Demand Action, who used the debate to blame guns and the Second Amendment. Butker espoused common sense. The fact that his statements have been deemed controversial is proof of lethal delusion. Delano Squires joins “Fearless” to share his perspective on Butker's love letter to common sense and a biblical worldview. Go to https://BlazeTV.com and subscribe today! Sara welcomes Blaze News writer Joe MacKinnon to discuss Executive Order 14-019 and its implications for election interference, exploring the Heritage Foundation's findings on federal agencies mobilizing Democratic voter bases and sharing strategies for states to counteract these actions. Sara examines the Daniel Perry case, discussing Black Lives Matter protests and Perry's controversial conviction, highlighting trial inconsistencies, political motivations, and broader issues of self-defense rights and judicial system roles. Daniel was recently pardoned by Texas Governor Greg Abbott. The discussion shifts to Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker, who faced backlash for his speech on abortion and traditional family roles. Despite the NFL distancing itself from Butker, Sara supports his stance on traditional values and free speech. The panel also discusses Epstein's little black book put up for auction, reflecting concerns about hidden evidence in politically sensitive cases. Finally, they cover a bizarre incident involving a German political candidate who filmed himself licking public toilets, illustrating the extremes people will go to for attention. BlazeTV contributor Jaco Booyens and head writer and researcher for Glenn Beck Jason Buttrill join the show. Today's Sponsors: Relief Factor Visit https://relieffactor.com or call 1-800-4-relief.
