When you invest in your business, are you getting the most out of it? Many entrepreneurs focus on what the investment might give them instead of what they bring to it, leaving huge potential untapped. The difference between a good return and a radical return isn't the amount spent; it's how fully you show up, how fanatically you engage with the coaching, and how you take ownership of your results. In this episode, I share what it looks like to be a radical student and how that mindset produces 10X returns. You'll also discover the specific behaviors that separate radical students from those who barely break even. From overcoming fear and discomfort to leveraging every ounce of coaching, I outline the strategies that ensure your investments don't just pay off; they transform your business. Running a business is a constant cycle of making educated guesses, testing those guesses, implementing new strategies, evaluating what works and what doesn't, and then doing it all over again. This reality catches many coaches off guard - they expect to find one right answer that works forever, but that's simply not how business operates. In this third part of my Launch Secrets series, I'm breaking down the decision-making framework that helped me turn two failed launches into a completely full program. You'll learn how to create strategic questions that actually move you forward instead of keeping you stuck in fear-based thinking. I share my exact 48-hour pivot timeline, the backup plan strategy that makes me braver with decisions, and why moving fast once you have clarity is crucial for momentum. Are you holding back from offering your services or raising prices because you fear being called a "cash grab"? That shame can hit hard, making you question your intentions, integrity, and even whether you belong in this industry. It can keep you small, prevent you from serving your clients fully, and stop you from creating programs or offers that could have a real impact. In this episode, I break down why "cash grab" is actually a derogatory term designed to shame entrepreneurs for running profitable businesses. You'll learn how to maintain integrity while protecting profit, how to integrate your coach brain with your entrepreneur brain, why multiple offers don't equal desperation or overwork, and how to handle the grief when others try to keep you small. Most importantly, you'll discover how to distinguish healthy entrepreneurship from the shame that can stop innovation and growth. When your launch doesn't go as planned, your brain immediately starts creating stories. Stories about why no one wants your offer, why you're not cut out for this, why the price must be wrong. These stories feel true in the moment, but they're rarely based on actual evidence. They're based on fear. In Part 2 of this series, you'll hear my exact framework for identifying where things are going wrong and how to form hypotheses based on real data rather than fear-based assumptions. Discover which specific data points to track (and which ones to ignore) based on your business goals, and the reason finishing your full launch plan matters more than immediate results. Are you carrying shame around the way you hustle in your business? In this episode, I explore how hustle shame shows up for coaches and clients and why it's one of the most damaging forces in our industry. When you feel shame about the work you do to achieve your goals, it affects how you receive coaching, how you relate to your clients, and how you view your own accomplishments. I share how understanding and addressing hustle shame can transform your mindset and your business relationships. Hustle shame doesn't come from the hustle itself. It comes from the thoughts and beliefs driving it. I break down the five most common ways hustle shame manifests and how these patterns can sabotage both growth and satisfaction in your work. Tune in to discover how to stop hiding from your hustle, release the shame, and build a business that allows you to achieve your goals while staying fully present in your life. Is the coaching industry a pyramid scheme? Five people asked me that last week, and I get why. Between coaches coaching coaches, sketchy screenshots, and straight-up liars, the noise is real. This episode kicks off a three-part series on launching, but it's not about logistics. Instead, I'm diving into the foundation that makes everything else work: relationships. Whether you're a business, health, or relationship coach, the principles I'm sharing apply to how you sell your coaching, whether through formal launches or everyday conversations. You'll learn how unprocessed emotions can show up physically, why acknowledging failures is key for clear decisions, and how appropriate vulnerability builds genuine connections. I share how transparency (without trauma dumping) led to invaluable feedback and why consistency outweighs perfection when building trust. Are you hustling to reach your goals, or are you working hard with intention? In this episode, I explore the crucial difference between hustle and hard work, two mindsets that drive how you approach your business and life. The way you work affects not only the results you create but also your relationship with those results. While hustle comes from fear and urgency, hard work is grounded in belief and intentionality. Tune in this week to learn how to differentiate between hustle and hard work and why it's important for both your growth and wellbeing. I'll share how shifting from hustle to hard work allowed me to build a seven-figure business and how you can apply this mindset to scale your own success, sustainably. “World power is infinitely better than willpower.” At the heart of every business breakthrough is the ability to turn hidden potential into repeatable skills. Freedom, friendship, and purpose aren't things you stumble upon; they're capabilities you can practice until they become second nature. When fundamentals like belonging, influence, and co-creation are mastered, advanced business skills—marketing, sales, partnerships, leadership—become natural extensions rather than uphill battles. Dave Buck shares how persistence turned him from eager student to the right-hand man of Thomas Leonard, the father of professional life coaching. He unpacks the origins of the industry, the lessons of human connection, and the coaching methods that evolved from trial, error, and challenge. His journey proves that sometimes you don't just choose a dream—the dream chooses you. Buck is CEO of CoachVille and a pioneer who has spent 30 years shaping the profession of life coaching. As a mentee and daily collaborator of Thomas Leonard, he helped codify modern coaching methods and today leads programs like Get Your Power Back, designed to restore human connection as the foundation for business and leadership transformation. Do you ever feel like no matter how hard you try, life just keeps happening to you and nothing seems to go as planned? That was me for years, fully living in the hot mess identity. Luggage would get lost, technology would fail, people would show up late, and somehow none of it was ever my fault. I believed the world dictated my day, my energy, and my results, and I spent more time reacting to circumstances than leading my life. In this episode, I share thirteen specific shifts that helped me shed the hot mess identity and consistently show up as a reliable, resourceful, and prepared coach and business owner. This includes honoring my word no matter the circumstances, planning for other people's potential messiness, building buffer time into every part of my day, and stopping the habit of shaming myself or letting others shame me. By implementing these changes, I was able to move from chaos to calm, create space to execute at my best, and fully own my actions and results. This disconnect between how we think clients should behave and how they actually show up is something I see coaches struggle with constantly - whether they're brand new or have been coaching for years. We create these unspoken rules and expectations for our clients, then feel disappointed when they don't follow them. The truth is, your clients' behavior isn't about you - it's about them being human. And the good news? You have way more influence over how your clients show up than you think. Through the four simple strategies I share in this episode, you can help your clients become better at being clients while also examining your own patterns and assumptions. When it comes to creating the life or business you want, the biggest barrier is often the story you keep telling yourself about who you are. Identity urges are the habitual patterns your brain offers up that reinforce the version of yourself you've always believed to be true. These urges can feel as permanent as your DNA, keeping you stuck in old habits and sabotaging even the best-laid plans. In this episode, I share how shifting your perspective from seeing these habits as fixed traits to seeing them as urges completely changed how I approach personal transformation. From breaking free of the “I'm always tired” story to moving past a victim mentality and the “I'm a hot mess” identity, I walk through how to notice the urge, sit with it, and choose differently. By learning to observe and respond differently to your urges, you can build a version of yourself capable of achieving far more than you imagined. Have you ever noticed how the energy you bring to a consult completely changes the conversation and the results? In this episode, I revisit one of the most foundational mindset shifts that transformed my coaching and sales: seeing every client as whole, capable, and perfect right now, regardless of their circumstances. When you speak to clients from their highest self, objections shrink, connection deepens, and you create consults unlike any conversation they've ever had before. You'll hear how to practice this mindset before every consult, why it's more impactful than any script or process, and how connecting with clients from this place of belief transforms your sales, your coaching, and the experience you offer. I also share examples from my own journey, from my first coaching calls with Brooke Castillo to working with clients today, illustrating how this simple shift can create extraordinary results and deeper fulfillment for both you and your clients. You know that feeling when you hit a milestone in your business and suddenly everything feels different? In this episode, I'm exploring what I call the "vulnerability tax" - the hidden cost of success that makes established coaches close off just when they need openness most. The more success we create, the more we feel we have to lose by admitting we don't have all the answers. Through my own experiences – like that first $100k year when everything suddenly stopped working – I've learned that the most successful business owners are actually the most open to being wrong. Discover why the vulnerability tax exists and how to break out of the performance cage that's keeping you from the strategic support and authentic connections you need to keep growing. Have you ever felt like something is missing on your consult calls, even when your process is solid? I'm revisiting this conversation because connection on consults is one of the most overlooked yet powerful skills in coaching. When you show up fully present, engaged, and genuinely caring about the person on the other end of the call, everything changes—for them, and for your ability to guide, serve, and inspire. Connection isn't about a perfect script or following a step-by-step process. It's about fully seeing the human in front of you, believing in their potential, and holding a vision for them that's bigger than their doubts. In this episode, I dive into how to engage with clients so they feel heard, understood, and capable of transformation. You'll hear examples from real coaching situations that show how presence and energy on a consult make all the difference, and how tuning into shared humanity creates trust, engagement, and meaningful breakthroughs. There's a common pattern I see with many coaches, especially when they hit a roadblock in their business. They dive into introspection and mindset work instead of asking, “How do I solve this?” But relying solely on self-concept work can sometimes keep you stuck. In this episode, I'm going to share why self-concept work isn't a one-size-fits-all solution and when it might actually be holding you back. You'll also learn how to balance mindset work with practical, actionable steps that lead to tangible results in your business. After the longest break I've taken from social media in years, I'm back—clearer, lighter, and more grounded than ever. In this episode, I'm sharing where I've been, the powerful opportunities that have come my way, and the deep deconditioning I've been moving through when it comes to the online coaching space and my social media presence. I talk about: The “niggle” I felt at the start of the year that changed everything. How I knew I needed to unplug and reset my online presence. Why I'm no longer willing to follow outdated “rules” of marketing and business. The standards I hold in my work—and how I'm making sure my online presence reflects them. Questions you can ask yourself to see where you might need to decondition, too. If you've been feeling pressure to show up a certain way online, or you're ready to bring more consciousness, leadership, and depth into your presence—this one's going to hit, babe.
Do you show up for every consultation with the same energy and level of service, no matter who's on the other side of the call? Most coaches treat consultations as a necessary step to getting paid, but they miss the opportunity to deliver one of the most valuable services they offer: the full experience of coaching. In this episode, I'm revisiting this important concept and breaking down why consultations should be viewed as a service, not just a sales call. When you approach consultations as a chance to truly serve your potential clients, regardless of their financial situation, you'll shift both your mindset and your business results. I'll share a conversation with a 2K for 2K student who almost wrote off a prospect based on financial assumptions, and how shifting into service energy completely changes the outcome. In this episode, I'll share why you should always give your best during consultations and how this mindset shift will serve you and your clients in the long run. My entire business is built on helping coaches find their own way of doing things. But the more coaches ask me for permission to do things their way, the more I realize just how many “rules” we've picked up along the way about the “right” way to do things. In this milestone 250th episode, I'm giving you full permission to trust yourself and your evolution as a business owner. You'll discover why outgrowing your current model isn't failure but evolution and why sitting in the unknown without forcing the next step might be exactly what you need. This episode is your permission slip to come back to whenever you need to hear that your way of doing business is valid, even if you've never seen it modeled before. This episode isn't a takedown. It's a reckoning and a redirection. If you've ever looked at the coaching industry and thought, "Am I crazy, or is this whole thing starting to feel… off?"—you are not crazy, you are not broken, and you are definitely not alone. In this powerful solo episode, Samantha pulls back the curtain on the manipulative tactics, the performative spirituality, and the underbelly of a world that often hurts more than it helps. Having navigated the industry for eight years, she shares her own complicated relationship with it—the good, the bad, and the lessons learned from feeling scammed, foolish, and manipulated. This is a masterclass in developing the one skill that matters most in this new era: Discernment. Samantha breaks down the "manipulation blueprint"—from love bombing and high-pressure sales to the narcissist/codependent dynamics at play. But this isn't just about what's broken; it's about what we are building. This episode is an initiation into High Frequency Leadership: a new paradigm rooted in truth, embodied service, and transparency over performance. It's time to take your power back, trust your gut, and become the kind of leader the world actually needs.
Every year or so I take the time to create a State of the Coaching & Transformation Industry report - because the industry is rapidly changing, and knowing what's going on can be vital to helping you make the shifts needed to thrive in the year ahead. I'll be honest: each year as I break down the data, one of my main conclusions is always that we as coaches and practitioners need better, exceptional skills in order to meet the growing needs of the population and to stay competitive. The same is true for 2025 into 2026, and here's some what you'll learn in the episode: Two data points of very, very good news about the coaching industry in 2025 (these numbers astound me) 4 factors to be aware of that might be contributing to slower pace of client acquisition What you can do 2025 into 2026 to distinguish yourself from the crowd and grow After you listen, let me know what stands out for you! Ever had an experience where someone made assumptions about your ability to buy before you even had the chance to speak? I recently walked into a high-end car dealership, dressed in designer clothes and driving a luxury vehicle, only to be met with repeated passive-aggressive questions about my budget. Despite showing clear signs of being a serious buyer, the salesperson's assumptions shut down the potential for any real connection. This situation highlights a critical mistake many coaches make in their businesses. The key to success in sales is simple: treat every potential client with the same level of respect and always deliver your best process, no matter your assumptions. In this episode, I'll share why showing up with integrity in every sales conversation, regardless of the prospect's situation, will transform both your income and your impact. In this second part of my conversation with sales expert Justine Beauregard, we explore how to sell with authenticity. Justine, who helps scale businesses to as much as $300 million, shares more of her proven approach to sales, focusing on how to secure the right clients without relying on manipulative tactics. You'll learn to see sales as a natural extension of your work of supporting others by offering them something they need, rather than pushing a sale. If you're still grappling with discomfort around sales, this episode will help you rethink your mindset and give you the confidence to step into sales with clarity and ease. How do you balance massive business growth with the demands of motherhood? After a year of extraordinary growth and transformation, I've discovered that the more abundance I create in my business, the more abundance flows into my home life, and vice versa. This realization has completely shifted how I approach both entrepreneurship and motherhood. In this episode, I'm sharing the real journey of evolving from focusing on material success to finding deep contentment in both my family and my work. You'll discover how I've grown my business while actually reducing complexity, why I'm choosing lean operations over empire-building, and how celebration and desire have become my primary drivers instead of discipline and willpower. In this episode of The Nancy Levin Show, I'm pulling back the curtain on the side of the coaching industry most people avoid talking about—the part that feels inauthentic, performative, and even disheartening. If you've been hesitant to call yourself a coach because of what you're seeing out there—coaches overcharging without experience, giving generic advice, or chasing likes instead of client breakthroughs—you are not alone. And you are needed. Together, we explore how to rise above industry noise and root yourself in integrity, compassion, and real skill. Because becoming a successful life coach doesn't mean playing the game—it means redefining it with purpose, presence, and heart. What we explore: Why the coaching industry's lack of regulation can create confusion—and how to be part of the solution. The truth about high-ticket pricing and why alignment matters more than numbers. How to spot surface-level coaching—and what deep, client-centered transformation actually looks like. Why real impact begins with listening, not telling. How to build a business that reflects your integrity and attracts abundance. Ready to lead with integrity? Do you ever find yourself thinking, “No one can know I'm struggling with this”? I've been there. But this thought might be one of the most dangerous beliefs you can carry as a coach. It's normal to think you can't show vulnerability, but what I've learned over time is that transparency doesn't make us less of a coach. It makes us more human and more relatable to our clients. In this episode, I dive into why trying to hide our fails from our clients only isolates us, increases pressure, and ultimately weakens our ability to serve them. I'll also share how my own struggles with transparency have shaped my approach to coaching, and how embracing vulnerability has created deeper connections with my clients. Perfection is a myth, and it's time we start normalizing the messy parts of coaching and business. I'll explain how indecision has shown up in my own life and business, especially when I've been faced with big decisions. I'll break down why getting off the fence quickly is so important for creating momentum.
