In this episode of The Next Chapter, I welcome survivor advocate and former law enforcement officer Kara Robinson Chamberlain back to Voices for Justice. Since Kara's first appearance in 2022, she has co-created and hosted Survivor's Guide to True Crime, helped shape a scripted film about her life, worked on a documentary exploring ethics in true crime, and stepped into a new role as the host and investigator of Somebody Knows Something. Kara shares how motherhood pushed her beyond coping and toward healing, and how her lived experience influences the way she approaches families, witnesses, law enforcement, and the online true crime community. We discuss the responsibility of telling real people's stories, the complicated balance between public participation and speculation, and why ethical storytelling requires care, nuance, and a clear call to action. I also ask Kara about the families and moments that stayed with her while filming, and why this next chapter is about using her platform to help other people find answers. Somebody Knows Something airs Mondays on Freeform and streams the following day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+ for eligible United States bundle subscribers. If you have information about any case featured in the series, please contact the appropriate law enforcement agency directly. ESV 7 So to keep me from becoming conceited because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, a thorn was given me in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to harass me, to keep me from becoming conceited. 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. 9 But he said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 10 For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

NIV 39 Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman's testimony, "He told me everything I ever did." 40 So when the Samaritans came to him, they urged him to stay with them, and he stayed two days. 41 And because of his words many more became believers. 42 They said to the woman, "We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world."

NASB 31 Meanwhile the disciples were urging Him, saying, "Rabbi, eat something." 32 But He said to them, "I have food to eat that you do not know about." 33 So the disciples were saying to one another, "No one brought Him anything to eat, did he?" 34 Jesus *said to them, "My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work. 35 Do you not say, 'There are still four months, and then comes the harvest'? Behold, I tell you, raise your eyes and observe the fields, that they are white for harvest.
Somebody Knows Something is a true crime series that asks whether the internet's obsession with unsolved cases, Reddit threads, true crime social media, armchair detectives, can actually help crack cases that have gone cold. Kara Chamberlain and executive producer Ari Mark join the show to talk about it. Kara, who hosts the series, brings a deeply personal understanding of violent crime to these stories: she's a kidnapping survivor herself. This episode covers the show's first two cases: the disappearance of baby Sabrina Aisenberg, missing from her crib in Valrico, Florida since November 1997, and the disappearance of 16-year-old LaShaya Stine, last seen in Aurora, Colorado in July 2016. Kara and Ari talk about why they chose these two cases, what they uncovered while making the series, and what it means for families who've been asking people to pay attention for years to finally have a platform that might reach the right person. Somebody Knows Something premieres on Freeform and streams the next day on Hulu and Disney+. NIV 27 Just then his disciples returned and were surprised to find him talking with a woman. But no one asked, "What do you want?" or "Why are you talking with her?" 28 Then, leaving her water jar, the woman went back to the town and said to the people, 29 "Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Messiah?" 30 They came out of the town and made their way toward him
Update on our week: Daniel watched The Backrooms and gives his criticism of the new horror film. While Noel and Daniel have different takes on it, the money it has generated cannot be ignored, pointing to a wide acception from the global audience. Daniel also watched Memento, directed by Christopher Nolan. The guys discuss the complex story that leaves you guessing what is happening throughout. The directional style disorients the average viewer and leaves you in a constant state of uncertainty, almost putting you the shoes of the character's mental state. With the Spider-Man movie finally here, Daniel watches Punisher: One Last Kill and gives his thoughts on the short movie/special. He really enjoyed it and disagreed with people's criticism of Frank Castle's emotional state. Andy shares recent postings regarding Hulk Hogan as this marks the 1 year anniversary of the passing of the wrestling legend. The guys discuss some of the positives and criticisms of the late great Hollywood Hulk Hogan. Andy gives an update on the New Jersey drones from a while back and conspiracy theories that have continued to circulate. Noel gives his honest review of Masters of the Universe. He stated that the early part of the film dragged on, but post the first 20-30 minutes, the action ramped up and the film found its groove. As an entertaining popcorn flick, its succeeds, but if you take it too seriously, you are likely to be dissappointed. Kaley Mullin is a sociologist and cultural insights practitioner who cofounded Cool Shiny Insights after serving as Head of Youth and Trends at YouTube and working on Disney's ABC Family to Freeform rebrand. In this episode, she explains what semiotics does for brand strategy, how cultural listening differs from social listening, and how to use the residual/dominant/emergent framework to time market moves. The conversation covers why brands consistently enter cultural spaces too late, what made Carhartt's cool-by-accident trajectory so instructive, and what organizational structures most marketing teams are still missing.

Blogger and model The Strange Goth and comedian Dave Carter joined Hannah and Mark for a fun show and found that they had a lot in common. The Strange Goth talked about her parents recognizing the darkness within her at an early age. How she initially found he goth scene in the Bay Area but has now found a home in the Los Angeles scene. She talks about what it was like to be on the cover of LA Weekly's goth issue, why she doesn't wear black all the time, what it is like being a woman of color in the goth scene and set the scene for her future wedding where she will walk down the aisle on fire. Dave talked about how he discovered death rock and darker music while serving in the Air Force (where he was assigned to play volleyball), his beginnings doing improv in the hallowed halls of Second City in Chicago, his work as a voice over actor as the voice of dramas on FreeForm among others, how his wife reacts to him making jokes about her in his stand up act and how he is at a point now where his 5 year old daughter gives him advice on how to audition and survive in show business. And we discussed the eternal arguments…are The Smiths, Marilyn Manson and Depeche Mode goth?
Welcome to Printing Money Episode 40. Matthias Schmidt-Lehr (AMPOWER, Executive Partner) joins Danny for this episode and we are very thankful to have him back. In Episode 40, Danny and Matthias approach markets and deals largely with AI in mind. AI is a huge enabler for the 3DP/AM industry, but in different ways for different parts of the industry. First, Danny and Matthias discuss the desktop 3DP/AM market with respect to industrial users and of course also with respect to AI. Then the discussion shifts upstream to industrial 3DP/AM applications of AI. Along the way, there are some very topical 3DP/AM deals and financings to reference. Finally, Danny and Matthias manage to exhaust the limits of AI, with respect to 3DP/AM deals anyway. So, they dive in for a few laps of more general deal analysis. Throughout this episode there are a lot of reference to past deals and episodes. Historical references are made to Backflip, Axial3D, Euler, Interspectral, Freeform, Seurat, VulcanForms, Alloy Enterprises, Metal Powder Works, 6K Additive, and more. We mentioned Matthias' past appearance on Printing Money, but also a heads up to stay tuned for some more great AMPOWER content coming to 3DPrint.com soon. Please enjoy Episode 40 and check out our previous episodes too. This episode was recorded July 14, 2026. ESV 16 Jesus said to her, "Go, call your husband, and come here." 17 The woman answered him, "I have no husband." Jesus said to her, "You are right in saying, 'I have no husband'; 18 for you have had five husbands, and the one you now have is not your husband. The opportunity catapulted her career, opening doors thanks to rave reviews by critics. She went on to make her Broadway debut in Vincent and Brixton, a classic play based on Vincent van Gogh, at the Lincoln Center Theater, then London's West End, before moving to Los Angeles to pursue a career in television and film. From stage to screen, Sarah emphasizes the importance of leading with your strengths by sharing a story of how a last-minute gut decision to perform a monologue instead of a musical number at a casting director workshop launched her career. NET 5 Now he came to a Samaritan town called Sychar, near the plot of land that Jacob had given to his son Joseph. 6 Jacob's well was there, so Jesus, since he was tired from the journey, sat right down beside the well. It was about noon. 7 A Samaritan woman came to draw water. Jesus said to her, "Give me some water to drink." 8 (For his disciples had gone off into the town to buy supplies.) 9 So the Samaritan woman said to him, "How can you—a Jew—ask me, a Samaritan woman, for water to drink?" (For Jews use nothing in common with Samaritans.)

NIV 20 So I will stretch out my hand and strike the Egyptians with all the wonders that I will perform among them. After that, he will let you go. 21 "And I will make the Egyptians favorably disposed toward this people, so that when you leave you will not go empty-handed. 22 Every woman is to ask her neighbor and any woman living in her house for articles of silver and gold and for clothing, which you will put on your sons and daughters. And so you will plunder the Egyptians."
