Content warning: arson, assault, fetal abduction, kidnapping, attempted murder, murder, substance use, and substance use disorder. As shared in part one, Angelique Robledo is an incredible mother and survivor living in Arizona. She was born in Southern California, but after a pivotal move nearly four hundred miles east in her middle school years, she found herself having trouble fitting in. Several years later, and not long after finding out she was pregnant, Angelique was introduced (by a mutual friend) to a Maricopa newcomer who she seemed to have a lot in common with. Over the next several months she would get to know the also-18-year-old via text and social media; they would discuss their pregnancies and build what Angelique considered a friendship. But everything changed on February 16, 2011, when their burgeoning relationship became nearly lethal. The Broken Cycle Media team is deeply honored and grateful that Angelique was willing to so rawly share about her experiences and all that came next for her after courageously surviving an alleged attempted fetal abduction and attempted arson. Development of intuitive abilities and the importance of approaching spirituality as a creative project rather than a competitive sport. The importance of developing intuition through regular practice and reflection. She explains that intuition is often experienced as subtle sensory information beyond rational thought, possibly connected to quantum physics and neuroscience. Katie emphasizes the need to distinguish between genuine intuitive insights and ego-driven desires or subconscious manipulations. She suggests starting with low-stakes situations, identifying one's dominant intuitive sensory gateway, and maintaining openness and healthy skepticism. Katie also emphasizes the importance of addressing past traumas and belief systems that may hinder the reception of clear, intuitive information. She recommends working with certified trauma processing professionals to release emotional blockages and enhance intuitive abilities. Katie discussed the concept of toxic spirituality, which she defined as a spectrum of behaviors and beliefs that can be damaging to individuals. She mentioned that it can range from well-meaning but ungrounded communities to more extreme forms of manipulation and exploitation. Katie emphasized the importance of understanding trauma and mental health when dealing with spiritual awakening and the need for a nuanced approach. The potential for unregulated spiritual spaces to be exploited by emotionally immature or toxic individuals. Dr. emphasized the importance of self-responsibility and safety in these experiences. They also mentioned the growing interest in psychedelics and their potential therapeutic use, leading to more discussions about reaching spirituality. Katie and Dr. discussed the potential benefits and risks of spiritual experiences, particularly those involving psychedelics or shamanic rituals. They emphasized the importance of finding a safe and supportive environment for such experiences, as well as the need for proper training and mentorship. They also cautioned against the dangers of seeking quick fixes or shortcuts in spiritual growth and stressed the importance of integrating spiritual experiences into daily life. They agreed that spiritual experiences are more common than people realize but often go unspoken. Remember to Subscribe, Listen, Review, and Share! In this soul-stirring episode, Kaye sits down with legendary music producer Martin Glover—known globally as Youth. From working with icons like Kate Bush, U2, and Paul McCartney to recording with the Gyuto Monks of Tibet, Youth’s legacy in sound is undeniable. But behind the fame lies a profound spiritual odyssey. Youth shares his journey from a life-shattering LSD experience at 21—followed by hospitalization, medication, and biblical hallucinations—to a 7-year integration that sparked his spiritual awakening. His path led through Shamanism, Druidry, and ancient mystery schools in a deep search for meaning. Together, Kaye and Youth explore the sacred intersection of sound, spirit, and self—alchemy, opposites, the Druid’s cup and sword—and the universal truth: all paths lead to the same place. E403– "Inner Voice: A Heartfelt Chat with Dr. Foojan Zeine." In this episode, Dr. Foojan Zeine chats with Omid Nemati. Omid's formal education is a postgraduate degree in business administration, and he is a pilot instructor in general aviation. His active writing journey started around 2013, and the core idea has been to create a tool that can navigate us as humans, both as individuals and as a community (such as families, organizations, nations, and the global population), through various situations. He authored the notion of APS, which GPS inspires. It recognizes possibilities through a coordinated perspective, a highly detailed concept. APS, with its many integrated tools, is based on consilience. With the help of today's technology, different scientific experts—whether individuals, bodies, organizations, or publications—can contribute their input. APS then collects the data and generates a collective APS perspective (point of view), which could lead to wisdom and/or scientific inventions. This approach allows us to understand the range of probable possibilities that may occur in the future, whether for an individual, a community, or an organization. This is how APS was developed and came into existence. His first publication was released in 2019—a novel titled The Human Miind & Patterns of Characters. Today, we will discuss his new book, APS ACOS Positioning System. Evolving communication tool for tomorrow. # 1 on the 20 Best California Mental Health Podcasts list by FeedSpot. https://podcasts.feedspot.com/california_mental_health_podcasts Check out my website: www.FoojanZeine.com, www.AwarenessIntegration.com, www.Foojan.com Summary Dr. discussed the evolution of communication tools, specifically the Acos Positioning System (APS). Omid explained the concept of "tomorrow's literacy" as a form of communication that has evolved from verbal to written. He highlighted the importance of this evolution in transmitting perspectives and perceptions across different geographical locations and periods. Omid explains that genetic needs, including efficient communication and relationships, drive human inventions. He describes his concept of people moving between situations on a timeline, with each situation representing a person's current state. Dr. Foojan relates this to a predictive model of human behavior, incorporating both internal processes and external communication. Omid confirms this interpretation, adding that his model, Aps, considers both changeable and unchangeable factors in human life, with the changeable aspects relating to his MIIND model and the unchangeable aspects involving self-awareness and scientific facts. Omid discussed the concept of Attacko, a tool that collects and unifies perspectives from various sources, similar to how numbers were invented to represent quantity. He compared this to Chat GPT, which collects data but lacks a coordinated perspective. Omid emphasized that Attacko enables anyone to contribute their perspective, regardless of their scientific education or knowledge. Dr. asked about the openness of Attacko, to which Omid clarified that it is open to everyone to put their perspective in the system. Dr. and Omid discussed the application of APS in various contexts, including HR training, psychotherapy, and personal development. They explained how APS can facilitate communication between a company and its customers by collecting and integrating individual perspectives into a unified perspective. This process allows for rapid decision-making and adaptation to changing needs. The software also provides recommendations based on the data it collects, enhancing the speed and quality of communication. Dr. Foojan Zeine discussed the concept of a platform that collects and personalizes data based on user interests, such as Chat GPT. Omid clarified that this platform is not related to Aps, but is a fundamental technology that allows software like Chat GPT to operate. He also explained the idea of a generated, coordinated perspective as the deepest level of human understanding, which AI can process faster. Omid suggested that AI may eventually reach perspectives that humans have not yet invented, leading to a potential imbalance in communication between humans and AI. Omid discussed the concept of AI reaching beyond the human perspective, potentially inventing things none of us could have thought of. He mentioned the idea of a "zone" where AI surpasses human understanding and the importance of having coordinated perspective tools to trace how AI reaches these zones. Dr. raised concerns about the implications of AI reaching beyond human perception and the need to understand how AI gets to these zones. Dr. and Omid discussed the potential of AI to collect and merge perspectives from a global population, creating a unified perspective. Omid emphasized the importance of understanding AI's behavioral scale and promoting mutual respect between humans and AI. He also introduced the concept of Aps, a cost positioning system, and mentioned that his book on the topic is available on Amazon. Omid discussed the importance of invention and communication, particularly in AI. He emphasized the need for mutual respect in communication with AI. Dr. agreed, sharing their experience with the AI chatbot, Mira, which was trained using the awareness integration theory. They compared the process of training AI to raising a child, noting that the AI could grow beyond its creators and potentially become a valuable and empathic entity. E402– "Inner Voice: A Heartfelt Chat with Dr. Foojan Zeine." In this episode, Dr. Foojan Zeine chats with Tami Kiekhaefer, LCSW, a seasoned psychotherapist with nearly 25 years in private practice. As the author of From Chaos to Calm: A Six-Step Strategy to Break Through Anxiety and Preparing for the Jungle: Avoiding Snakes and Pitfalls on the Path to Healthy Love, she empowers high-achieving women to break free from anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. Tami's approach blends practical strategies with deep self-awareness, helping clients build confidence and resilience. She offers virtual, confidential sessions via phone and Zoom, making support accessible no matter where you are. www.healthyhealing.net # 1 on the 20 Best California Mental Health Podcasts list by FeedSpot. https://podcasts.feedspot.com/california_mental_health_podcasts Check out my website: www.FoojanZeine.com, www.AwarenessIntegration.com, www.Foojan.com Summary Dr. and Tami discussed the topic of anxiety, its normality, and its impact on individuals. Tami emphasized the importance of recognizing the roots of anxiety, which she identified as a lack of control over one's environment and negative thought patterns. She also highlighted the significance of being aware of one's body and managing its symptoms to prevent anxiety from spiraling out of control. They discussed the benefits of body-centered yoga and meditation techniques for stress management. Tami shared her experience of using these techniques to lower her blood pressure and emphasized the importance of breathing exercises. Dr. suggested incorporating singing into breathing exercises to make them more enjoyable. They also discussed the prevalence of panic attacks masquerading as heart attacks, with Tami estimating that around 80% of ER visits for suspected heart attacks are panic attacks. Tami discussed the importance of managing anxiety by activating the left brain to assess situations logically rather than relying solely on emotions. She emphasized that the left brain cannot be used simultaneously with the right brain, which is responsible for emotions and creativity. Tami suggested exercises to activate the left brain, allowing for a more logical approach to anxiety. Tami indicated that people often feel out of control when they focus on external factors and that they can regain a sense of safety by shifting their attention to internal control. She proposed writing down what one can and cannot control, emphasizing that the list of controllable factors is usually longer than the uncontrollable ones. Dr. agreed, adding that even if one cannot control external events, they can control their own actions and reactions. The conversation ended with Tami encouraging people to focus on their skills, accomplishments, and marketability to boost their confidence and reduce anxiety. Dr. discussed various types of anxieties, including existential ones such as moving from one phase of life to another, anxieties about illnesses, death, and loneliness, and anxieties about past completions and redefining oneself. Tami shared her theory about experiencing multiple midlife crises every 7 years, which she believes is linked to her children's developmental stages. Both agreed that these transitions often involve unknowns and a lack of confidence in oneself, as one has not yet proven their ability to navigate these new situations. Tami and Dr. discussed strategies for overcoming anxiety and building confidence. Tami emphasized the importance of facing fears and avoiding avoidance, which can exacerbate anxiety. Dr. shared his approach of focusing on strengths and resilience and trusting himself to learn and adapt. They also discussed the importance of self-trust and executive functioning in managing anxiety. Tami used the example of driving in the snow to illustrate how avoidance can lead to a downward spiral and how facing fears incrementally can help build confidence. Tami and Dr. discussed the impact of anxiety on individuals, particularly during the pandemic. They highlighted how anxiety can be both a collective and personal experience fueled by external factors such as social media and news. Tami emphasized the importance of recognizing anxiety as an emotion and not letting it control one's life. She shared personal experiences and strategies for managing anxiety, including naming it and practicing gratitude. The conversation concluded with Tami encouraging others to seek help and guidance in managing their anxiety. In the spiritual space, phrases like “the shadow self is dying” or “ego death” are often thrown around — but are they truly aligned with Source, love, and Oneness? In this potent episode, Kaye Doran invites you to pause and reflect: Are the words we hear, speak, or teach energetically congruent with what we know about unconditional love and interconnectedness? Or are they bypassing the deeper truth? Kaye unpacks why the shadow self doesn’t die - it transforms. And why the ego, when redirected through conscious awareness, can become a sacred ally; the Divine Ego working in alignment with Soul. Rather than killing off parts of self, true spiritual leadership calls us to integration, not elimination. This episode is a powerful reminder to question spiritual soundbites, return to your inner voice of knowing, and lead from the place beyond the shadow of the belief system - where Soul, Source, and your successful self, speak clearly. Many of Henri Nouwen's deep spiritual insights arose from experiences of anguish. In the Inner Voice of Love, Nouwen penned spiritual imperatives for himself during the most difficult period of his life. Meant to be a deeply personal journal, friends encouraged him to offer it as a gift of consolation for those who live through the pain of broken relationships and immense loss. In this podcast conversation, Wendy speaks with Diane Marshall, a retired therapist, who was an intimate friend of Henri's. Diane and Henri shared each others' burdens during painful times, and their friendship birthed new hope. ___________ Book Discussed: The Inner Voice of Love https://amzn.to/3fq4CKN (US) https://amzn.to/37kJJOm (Canada) ___________ SUPPORT THIS PODCAST: henrinouwen.org/donate/ * SIGN UP FOR FREE DAILY E-MEDITATIONS: henrinouwen.org/meditation/ * MORE FREE RESOURCES: henrinouwen.org/ * FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA: INSTAGRAM: www.instagram.com/henrinouwensociety/ TWITTER: twitter.com/nouwensociety FACEBOOK: www.facebook.com/nouwensociety/ PINTEREST: www.pinterest.ca/henrinouwen/

Hello Everyone, Today is an inspiring episode.
E400– "Inner Voice: A Heartfelt Chat with Dr. Foojan Zeine." In this episode, Dr. Foojan Zeine chats with Pattie Ehasei. Known as "The Duchess of Decorum" by her 1M followers, Pattie Ehsaei has established herself as one of the leading financial experts today. Pattie's TikTok teachings on female equality in the workplace, financial literacy, workplace decorum, and financial independence for women have over 8.1 MILLION likes—answering questions such as "How do I maintain financial independence in a relationship?" "How do I make and keep a budget?" "How do I maintain my power in the workplace?" "How do I ask for a raise?" "How do I navigate male-dominated industries?" These are the types of questions that Pattie provides real and honest answers to, and they keep her fans begging for more. She has spent the last 20 years in a multifaceted career focused on finance. From managing divisions of banking institutions, business development, investment banking, and raising capital from sovereign wealth funds in private equity, Pattie has seen all sides of the industry and has quickly become an authority in this space. A lawyer by trade and currently a Director of Mergers & Acquisitions financing for a major national bank, Pattie is the perfect example of "tough but fair" and believes that success comes from information and empowerment. Pattie's direct approach, peppered with levity and some real takeaways, made her an instant success and a highly sought-after speaker. She has delivered keynote addresses for numerous platforms and organizations, including Create & Cultivate, the Iranian American Women's Foundation, the Women's Investment Summit, the New England Women in Banking & Mortgage Conference, and the University of Denver STEM Program. She's also been a panelist for events that inspire the next generation of women, such as the Meet Me in Malibu Influencer Panel. Pattie's voice can also be seen in print on Forbes.com and MSNBC, where she shares her wisdom as a financial contributor. We will discuss her highly anticipated book, Never Date A Broke Dude. Pattie gives readers practical advice on finance and romance in this book and breaks down exactly why "a man is not a financial plan"! www.pattieehsaei.com # 1 on the 20 Best California Mental Health Podcasts list by FeedSpot. https://podcasts.feedspot.com/california_mental_health_podcasts/ Check out my website: www.FoojanZeine.com, www.AwarenessIntegration.com, www.Foojan.com Summary Dr. and Pattie discussed the importance of financial independence for women in relationships. Pattie emphasized that money determines power dynamics in relationships and that women should have enough financial freedom to support themselves. They also discussed the societal expectations placed on women and the need for women to have the skills and knowledge to re-enter the workforce after raising children. Pattie shared her experience of starting her TikTok channel at 50 and the challenges women face in pursuing new opportunities after a long period of not working. They discussed the importance of having a strategy rather than just hoping for success. Pattie shared her experience of wanting to become financially responsible but relying on hope instead of planning. She emphasized the need for a plan, whether it's related to finances or career development, and the importance of budgeting and acquiring necessary skills. Dr. shared her experience of spending every dollar she made and not having a plan for the future, which led her to invest. Both agreed on the importance of having a plan for personal and financial growth. Pattie discusses the importance of investing for the future and shares her experience dating a financially unstable partner. She emphasizes that investing is simpler than many think, involving just a few steps and consistent contributions. Pattie explains that her book title, "Never Date a Broke Dude," stems from her own experience, which led her into significant debt and emotional distress. She acknowledges her complicity in the situation and highlights how societal pressures can lead people to prioritize relationships over financial stability. Pattie emphasized the importance of economic independence and self-worth in relationships, stating that when one partner feels they have no choice but to stay in a relationship, they may take advantage of the other. Pattie mentions that her book addresses this issue to help women realize their value and empower themselves to seek better treatment in relationships and life. *iTunes (https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/i...) *Google Play (https://play.google.com/music/m/Inpl5...) *Stitcher (https://www.stitcher.com/) *YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/DrFoojan) *Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/DrFoojanZeine/) *Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/Dr.FoojanZeine) *Twitter (https://www.twitter.com/DrZeine/) *LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/in/DrFoojanZeine) *Tiktok (https:///www.tiktok.com/dr.foojanzeine)
