Providing feedbacks and feed-forwards in an effective way enhances one's Leadership Presence.Feedbacks and feed forwards are generally offered to correct something, to improve performance, or to highlight something that could be done better. It need not be so always. One could catch someone doing things right, and offer a feedback. And accentuate the positive. Someone asked a leader ‘Why would you commend someone for doing something they're supposed to do?'The leader answered: ‘So they keep doing it.'It's important that in our focus on things to correct, we are not blind to the positive things people do on a daily basis. When you catch people doing the right things and offer feedback, it provides clarity, builds trust and psychological safety. Also it helps people to become the best version of themselves.Providing feedbacks and feed-forwards in an effective way – it enhances one's Leadership Impact! My name is PK NarayananWishing you the best, Thank you.

The biggest cause for the lack of Leadership Presence is because most Stressed Successes are focusing all of their attention and energy on the problem out there. And what does our diligent brain love to do? Obey our command. So if we're focusing on a past event or a probable future (usually negative), then that gives us very little energy to focus on what actually matters which is - ourselves. And the ironic question we have to ask is, “Where can we affect the most change and who can do it?” The answer is, “Here and me”. And yet, most people continue to harp on the past and worry about the future and act from THAT place, which is not the present moment nor is that state of being the most effective. In this episode of the Stressproof Podcast we're going to break down the mechanism of the brain (and what to do about it) and how to start feeling into a different state so that YOU can begin to effect change here and now.

In this episode Judith Germain and Katherine Lazaruk discuss professional presence and leadership beyond stereotypical norms. Key Takeaways Leadership presence is innate and can be cultivated, but does not guarantee taking on a leadership role. Knowing your true self and being congruent with internal and external expression builds presence. Diverse perspectives are needed at leadership tables for organisations to thrive. Non-white women face double bias and must navigate risks in self-expression. In this conversation Katherine argues leadership presence is more than superficial rules, exploring what's beyond the dominant white male paradigm. Judith counters some innate presence remains regardless of choices. They discuss how current success measures harm humanity and the planet. Continuous growth is unnatural; balance and limits are needed. Leadership must evolve for whole human beings. Katherine Lazaruk is a professional presence expert and maverick. She started her business in image consulting but hates shopping. Katherine knows what's it like to be an outlier in an industry and knows how it can be turned into an advantage.
