In the 3rd episode of The Caddy Series, it was a pleasure to be joined by LPGA Tour, Solheim & Ryder Cup pro caddy Jack Clarke as he phones from home in Florida after a busy 2024 season on the bag with the legendary Anna Nordqvist in a season which saw Jack on the bag for the Majors as well as being at Solheim Cup in Virginia (Anna's 9th) in an event that Jack and now wife Swedish star Madelene Sagström famously had their mini 'honeymoon' and actually got paired together in the same session as Anna/Madelene teamed up together! Jack kindly offers his advice on the expertise of being a Professional caddy! Jack was a fine player in his own right winning Amateur events and turned Professional at 18 years old where he would achieve a Challenge Tour Tour card in 2013/14 before a sad run of injuries hindered his player career and had to give it up at 27 years old! We learn about Jack's experiences as a player! In late 2017 Jack got a call from Gemma Dryburgh to perhaps caddy for Gemma on the LET in which he accepted and would go on to caddy for European Solheim Cup star Caroline Hedwall which included be on her bag at 2019 Solheim Cup at Gleneagles where Suzann Pettersen famously sunk the winning putt to beat the US. Jack has caddied in 3 Solheim Cups & 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome only losing the once which was this year's Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones. He would be on the bag at 2021 Solheim in Toledo for partner Madelene Sagström, be on the bag for the superstar Ludvig Aberg in Rome where Ludvig & Hovland famously defeated Koepka & Scheffler 9&7 and was on the bag with Anna Nordqvist this year. 2023 was a great year for Jack with getting the bag of the promising talent Ludvig Aberg and was able to share alongside 2023 Ryder Cup win also 2 individual wins together at Crans Montana for Omega European Masters and a stunning victory by Ludvig at RSM Classic on PGA Tour. We find out just what makes Ludvig Aberg so good! I had a great chat with Jack about all things Golf and he comes across as a really likeable guy while also being a well respected figure as a good caddy! I hope you enjoyed it! Reminder guys that the podcast is nominated in 2025 Sports Podcast Awards for Best Golf Podcast and I need the help of all you lovely people to help me try and cause a shock! Would love your votes as we try to get bigger! Please be sure to leave a 5 star review as it helps massively with the growth and be sure to like, subscribe and download on Apple Podcasts & Spotify! Let's be honest it could've easily been 5 or 6 for young Tommy Watson but our Jack Clarke regen decided to let Stoke off a little bit on Saturday by scoring just the two of his first senior goals for the club. Maybe he's saving some for our visitors on Tuesday night? What's the crack? We won a game for the first time in what feels like forever, so another one this week will do us nicely, cheers Reg. A brace for a brilliant young talent: he's not really flying under any radars here is Tommy. Especially not announcing himself on Sky repeatedly. Just how many goals could we have won that game by exactly? Should Mayenda get more of a chance midweek or does Connolly have a shout for a place? Is Patrick Roberts just misunderstood? Are people not seeing what he offers us or is he not offering enough of what we need? How much rotation will we see from RLB on Tuesday when we face a Bristol City side with a decent away record... Who starts in that back line and who gets dropped? Does Luke O'Nien make way for Ballard and Mepham or does Ballard sit the game out? Will this decision mean anything longer term? Martin goes full ragebait, Gav has some plugs for you and the lads try to find something significant to complain about. Aye. All this and more. Three league games, three clean sheets, three wins and top of the EFL Championship table! Regis Le Bris becomes the first manager in our history to achieve this and it's delightful, fucking delightful. What's le crack? ROMAINE MUNDLE; Upon stepping into the still flaming shoes of the outgoing Jack Clarke he only went and won the game for us didn't he. Unbelievable Jeff. TOP OF THE LEAGUE; Aye we're only three games in we know but that's a historic run for Sunderland AFC and everything is falling into place for RLB. Rigged again; Can you drop Chris Rigg at this point? Another brilliant performance from our young midfield, but a bit of déjà vu for our Dan Neil as he was sent off after a second yellow with 5 minutes to go. Anthony Patterson hasn't had anything to do for weeks so what is he doing to entertain himself whilst Hume, Alese, O'Nien and Cirkin form a practically impenetrable wall around him; as far as we can tell it is the first time in our history that we have won three without conceding so aye. Impressive work lads. Alexandre Mendy has been spotted swimming up the east coast of England but may have run into trouble through the night around Lowestoft, drones have been sent to look for Sunlun's number one fan; Jack Clarke's departure announced by Sunderland and Ipswich as well as more talk of incomings at the club and a few of your questions. All this and more! Aye we recorded a preview and it was mint but everyone involved went and sold their players, so upon hearing the news of Jack Clarke's imminent departure our Gav and Martin sat down for a chat at 1am. Fabrizio Romano announced on his social media feed at 22:24 on Thursday night that our Jack the lad will be leaving Sunderland AFC for Ipswich Town following a medical on Friday morning so... How are we taking this news? Is the £20 million fee with an as yet unknown sell-on clause enough for one of our most talented players? What do we think RLB will do for now to address the absence of Jack on the left? Wilson Isidor is very close to an announcement as a Sunderland player; so what do we know about the former Rennes, Monaco and Zenit forward? The promising young RB Salzburg striker Roko Simic could be a Sunderland player soon if reports are to be believed; do we like the look of him? The Mendy saga continues with another statement from the player on his wish to join Sunderland; Oh and we play Burnley tomorrow yes so the lads squeeze a bit in about their ever evolving squad and our prospects against them as they visit the Stadium of Light for a rare 3pm kick-off... It's all going on. Thanks for the memories Jack! Ha'way the Lads! Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Welcome back to The Falling Apart Podcast, episode 10—where the chaos of being a Leeds fan is always front and center. This week, Ricardo, Tom, Jimbo, and Sam wade through the deafening silence of the transfer window, injecting just enough humour and sarcasm to keep us all from losing it completely. After a Wi-Fi meltdown and a desperate 20-minute drive to find a signal, the lads dig into the latest 'Farke Press Conference,' making wild guesses about signings (or the lack thereof) and wondering how on earth the squad's supposed to cope with a month of tumbleweeds. We've got fiery debates over the likes of Jack Clarke and Largie Ramazani—spoiler alert: Ramazani signs mid-podcast, and you can almost hear the collective sigh of relief. Expect a painful recount of all the players we've lost, and the dubious optimism pinned on those yet to arrive. Just when it all seems a bit too grim, breaking news of a potential signing gives us a rare glimmer of hope, and the lads' spirits are briefly lifted. To wrap things up, Sam dreams up his fantasy transfers, and we take a look ahead to the upcoming scrap against Sheffield Wednesday. Don't forget to stick around for the 90+15 post-game rant, and as always, subscribe, slap us with five stars, and follow Jim on X for his daily dose of whingeing. Cheers! Hosted on Acast. Reaction as Sunderland thrash Sheffield Wednesday plus Jack Clarke and transfer latest
Our Gav and Martin are back to full podcasting duties as the new SAFC 2024/25 season begins with a nice tidy win over Cardiff City in Wales yesterday to get their teeth into! What's the crack? How do the lads feel about that result? Reg isn't as happy as you might think but as first League games go in charge, that wasn't bad at all. A clean sheet, two goals and three points; can't really ask for more can we? Especially away from home. Dennis Cirkin. That's all. Did Jobe have his best performance in a Sunderland shirt or just his best performance in a Hummel Sunderland shirt. No, they didn't pay us to say that. What did the lads make of our general style of play and who - besides our goalscorers on the day Luke O'Nien and Jack Clarke - really made the difference for us? Attempting to answer a few of your questions (quickly) and more! Ha'way the Lads! #SAFC #EFL #EFLChampionship Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Our disorganised (and now slightly late) season review continues as we all await imminent news from our dear club about our imminent head coach. But we aren't talking about managers at all here (we'll react to that when we get an official announcement) as today our Gav, Chris and Martin's focus is on the players themselves. What's the crack? Now the lads are away on their hols and with plenty of time to reflect, who do we think stood out in the past season? Besides Jack Clarke aye..The lads try to sell Patto for a giggle; but how do we feel about the goalkeeping situation? Is Young a bit too young for a chance? We may have the best pair of full backs in the league if Cirkin was able to stay fit, so what did the lads make of our attempts to deal with injuries this season, what exactly is Leo Hjelde and will Pembele stick around next season? Are O'Nien and Ballard good enough for a promotion push or do they need further assistance and more experienced competition? Will Ballard be snapped up by someone or is it too early for him? Dan Neil, Pierre Ekwah and that central midfield issue; The lads debate the qualities of both players and of course look at the risk of losing Neil in the summer. Jobe; What do we do with the younger Bellingham brother? He's had a decent season for a lad his age but has he been mismanaged? The Jack Clarke debate; Will he stay or will he go? Martin fights valiantly against the position of Gav and Chris on this, but we can all agree that the saga may go on for a while yet. Paddy Roberts and the rest; Aye I won't list everyone but Gav does so what do we do with all these wingers, tens and alleged forwards? Should we have sold Roberts when we had the chance? Why did we bother with Burstow? Is Rusyn actually decent or a competition winner? What happened to poor Jewi? All this and so much more!Another pod will follow... Imminently. Hosted on Acast. WE WON THE FOOTY AGAIN AND EVERYTHING IS BACK TO NORMAL! Aye our Gav and Chris reconvened to wax lyrical once more about the joys of comfortably winning matches as Sunderland beat a terrible Norwich side over the weekend; Jack Clarke got back to tearing things apart, Dan Neil just keeps getting better and even Trai sort of got back on the scoresheet with an absolutely intentional strike/cross because why the f*** not eh? What's the crack? PGMOL are still on a warning, but even they couldn't stop the Lads on Saturday; So how are we feeling after all that? Jack Clarke and Dan Neil may just be two of the very best players in the division but try keep that to yourselves aye; the lads try to convince everyone they should stick around Sunlun for a while longer. What a goal man. Just aye. Still got it on repeat. GO WATCH THE GOAL AGAIN! A brilliant performance from all the lads; besides the aforementioned not-so-secret weapons, who really stood out for us and how confident are we heading into the Swansea game this weekend? Play to the whistle Pierre; Was that offside? Should Ekwah be paying any attention to the linesman anyway? There's been a mixed reaction to Rusyn's first start; what did the lads make of what he brought to the side? Is he a better option in that position than who we've seen so far? Ah there's all kinds going on, from your three word reviews to Gav getting a couple goes at predicting the last result until he got it right to just pointing out how shite Norwich were. Should probably give it a listen and we'll be back midweek. HA'WAY THE LADS! #SAFC #EFL #EFLChampionship Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

Elsewhere, there's a Jack Clarke love in, yet more praise for Ipswich and the origin story of Perry Ng's name in our Championship round up whilst Blackpool and Peterborough share 6 goals and Derby's woes continue in League One. Reaction as Jack Clarke inspires Sunderland to 3-1 Norwich City win
Our Gav and Chris were joined this week by a very tired Martin from the land down under as they tried to work out what time of day/night it was, chatted about the win on Friday and look at your thoughts and opinions on all things SAFC right now! What's the crack? CLARK, CLARKE WILL TEAR YOU APART, AGAIN! Just aye. Jack Clarke is too good for this division. How good is this side? Do we know how high the ceiling is for some of the talent we have? Burstow played his best game for the Lads so far, what did we think of his performance? Cheers for the points Chansiri? Sheffield Wednesday are in a bit of a state at the moment, bless them, and he's not exactly helping matters; Sunlun 2.0 - We often think of "doing a Sunlun" as a negative but has that changed recently? What has actually driven our successes on the pitch, and how much has our new approach changed people's perception of the club? We go through a few listener points and of course the three word reviews, as Gav once again gets carried away… Or does he? Are we good enough to challenge this season? All this and a lot more! Ha'way the Lads! #SAFC #EFLChampionship #EFL Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
VAR is the main topic of discussion this week from the Tottenham vs Liverpool game and other key incidents which marred the Premier League. We take a look at big wins for Wolves, Palace and Villa. The EFL's key results are mulled over, including Tommo's EFL corner this wee being on Jack Clarke and we are straight back on the horse with another Pyramid Podcast treble after a less than ideal start.

HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaI'm alright Jack; The p*** biscuit saw red at Loftus Road after trying to snap Jobe's leg in half, before our very own Jack Clarke fired in a beautifully timed equaliser. Funny.Well that was f***in delightful; how do the lads feel after that performance?Ainsworth; what the f*** was he wearing honestly? A lovely 20% possession for the shithouse is all he's got to show for his tactical genius. Again... funny.Goals for Dan Ballard and an assist for one of our new French lads as Abdoullah Ba finished the game off in style! Just class from so many today wasn't it?So as it stands we sit 7th in the EFL Championship with a couple nice wins under our belt; looking forward to Blackburn on Wednesday? Sky News and Global Fishing Watch have discovered many of the UK's marine conservation zones and marine protected areas are often protected in name only. Since January 2022, tens of thousands of hours of damaging fishing practices like dredging and bottom trawling have taken place in the so-called protected zones.Although damaging to our ocean's havens, the practices aren't illegal. So how can we allow commercial fishing to continue while allowing our seabeds to recover and thrive? On this week's ClimateCast, Tom Heap is in Bognor Regis to speak to fourth-generation fisherman, Clive Mills, who has returned to his fishing boat after being pushed out because of a lack of supply. Twenty years on, he's pledged to only fish sustainably and is encouraging others to do the same.Plus, we look at the state of fishing in our waters internationally with Jack Clarke from the Marine Conservation Society.Podcast producer: Emma Rae Woodhouse Climate producer: Mickey Carroll Editors: Paul Stanworth and Wendy

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Aye. An exhausted Gav and Chris cracked out the defibrillators and sat down just now to try calm themselves after an insane finish to the 22/23 EFL Championship season, as the mighty Sunlun thrashed Preston by three goals (our new best friends Blackburn sank Millwall) and we somehow find ourselves fighting for promotion to the Premier League in our first season back from League One! What's the crack? WE F***ING DID IT LADS AND LASSES! How do we feel? I'm utterly exhausted like, but how do these two feel? DO THE TONY MOWBRAY; He got us there, the gorgeous chocolate covered b*****d, but can he take us one step further? An attacking masterclass; what a team this is, just how good were the Lads today? AMAD LAD! What a goal from the absolute f***ing boy, followed up by equally gorgeous finishes from Pritch and Jack Clarke! Ah they say all kinds. Gav tells you he told you so and the lads think about booking their hotels for Wembley now rather than later…WE ARE THE SUNLUN! HAWAY THE LADS! #SAFC #EFL #EFLCHAMPIONSHIP #TilTheEnd Hosted on Acast.
