In the 3rd episode of The Caddy Series, it was a pleasure to be joined by LPGA Tour, Solheim & Ryder Cup pro caddy Jack Clarke as he phones from home in  Florida after a busy 2024 season on the bag with the legendary Anna Nordqvist in a season which saw Jack on the bag for the Majors as well as being at Solheim Cup in Virginia (Anna's 9th) in an event that Jack and now wife Swedish star Madelene Sagström famously had their mini 'honeymoon' and actually got paired together in the same session as Anna/Madelene teamed up together! Jack kindly offers his advice on the expertise of being a Professional caddy! Jack was a fine player in his own right winning Amateur events and turned Professional at 18 years old where he would achieve a Challenge Tour Tour card in 2013/14 before a sad run of injuries hindered his player career and had to give it up at 27 years old! We learn about Jack's experiences as a player! In late 2017 Jack got a call from Gemma Dryburgh to perhaps caddy for Gemma on the LET in which he accepted and would go on to caddy for European Solheim Cup star Caroline Hedwall which included be on her bag at 2019 Solheim Cup at Gleneagles where Suzann Pettersen famously sunk the winning putt to beat the US.  Jack has caddied in 3 Solheim Cups & 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome only losing the once which was this year's Solheim Cup at Robert Trent Jones. He would be on the bag at 2021 Solheim in Toledo for partner Madelene Sagström, be on the bag for the superstar Ludvig Aberg in Rome where Ludvig & Hovland famously defeated Koepka & Scheffler 9&7 and was on the bag with Anna Nordqvist this year. 2023 was a great year for Jack with getting the bag of the promising talent Ludvig Aberg and was able to share alongside 2023 Ryder Cup win also 2 individual wins together at Crans Montana for Omega European Masters and a stunning victory by Ludvig at RSM Classic on PGA Tour. We find out just what makes Ludvig Aberg so good!  I had a great chat with Jack about all things Golf and he comes across as a really likeable guy while also being a well respected figure as a good caddy! Les étalages du magasin sont bien fournis grâce aux invendus et grâce aux dons des particuliers. Des opérations de récolte sont organisées régulièrement et les dons des particuliers permettent d'apporter une aide précieuse à ce magasin pas comme les autres. La prochaine récolte des "Cartons Solidaires" a lieu aujourd'hui et demain dans tous les commerces de la région. L'association a désormais suffisamment de bénévoles pour cette action de 2 jours mais recherche toujours des personnes d'accord de l'aider sur le long terme. L'objectif principal de l'association Noloco Partage est de récolter les invendus ainsi que des produits de première nécessité, dans le commerces de la région du Haut-Plateau valaisan afin de les distribuer gratuitement, dans son Magasin Solidaire, aux personnes de la région se trouvant en difficulté temporaire. Les bénéficiaires sont en majorité des personnes seules ou des familles qui peuvent bénéficier de l'aide octroyée par l'association pour un temps défini en accord avec les partenaires sociaux. Afin de constituer des stocks pour les prochains mois dans son Magasin solidaire à Crans-Montana, Noloco Partage organisera les 15 et 16 novembre prochain une collecte dans divers supermarchés, action pour laquelle des bénévoles sont actuellement recherchés. Ces denrées sont enduite triées, mises en valeur et distribuées par une vingtaine d'autres bénévoles qui travaillent au magasin. 2x fois par année, une septantaines d'autres bénévoles assurent une permanence dans les magasins de la région pour l'action "Cartons solidaires" afin d'inciter les clients à acheter et à donner des marchandises de longue conservation. In this podcast, Philippe Rey-Westlund and Byron Rey-Westlund talk about their labor of love and fine dining with the creation of Underground Dining at Naglee Park in the Silicon Valley.  We learn about how this idea was born, how it blossomed into a full-time job for its creative chef Byron and how Philippe's family history of running a hotel and restaurant in Crans-Montana, Switzerland helped him to become the welcoming host for an eclectic clientele. Both Byron and Philippe talk about their travel and dining experiences and how cuisine from different places influenced Byron's culinary explorations and dishes.  With humour and a touch of irreverence, they describe some of their underground dining events, give advice to people who may be interested in creating an Underground Dining venue and their favourite places to go for Underground Dining. Byron Westlund Jr. grew up in Cupertino, California surrounded by fruits orchards. Cupertino, before becoming the Apple Corp. headquarters was a small village one hour south of San Francisco populated mostly by Italian and Mexican immigrants. There he was introduced early to the delicious tasty layers of ancestral Mexican cuisine.  After college, Byron worked in technology and with the responsibilities of holding leadership positions, he was afforded the opportunity to travel the world for business. As an adventurous and curious person, Byron would explore the food scene everywhere he landed. With offices and staff he would visit, on an almost monthly basis, Grenoble, Lyon, Geneva, Mexico City, Tokyo and Singapore.  Byron would go out of his way to sample all local tastes and traditional dishes.  Upon his return home to Silicon Valley, he would spend hours recreating the flavors and structures of the dishes he so loved while out in the world. Underground Dining at Naglee Park was inevitable and for ten years, became Byron's retirement-from-technology job, but way more fun and creative. Byron always loves nothing more than welcoming friends and family to his table to share with them his passion and love for good, heart-warming, soul-lifting food and good times.  Dr. Philippe Rey is the Executive Director of ACS in the Silicon Valley, California.  He first joined Adolescent Counseling Services in 1998 as Caravan House Program Director. After three years at Caravan, he became a member of the executive team as Associate Director and has now been the agency's Executive Director since 2004.  Philippe was born and raised in the French-speaking region of Switzerland and came to the United States in 1984 to attend the University of California at San Diego. In 1997, his doctorate in clinical psychology with a concentration in child and family therapy was conferred by Alliant International University in San Diego. Before pursuing graduate studies and a career in psychology, Philippe graduated from business school in Sion, Switzerland.  With his husband Byron, Philippe operated an "Underground Dining" establishment which served as a cultivation & fundraising vehicle for ACS since 2011.

Ozdil Nami is a Turkish Cypriot politician. He held various political positions but he is mostly known in the Greek Cypriot community as the Turkish Cypriot Negotiator and advisor of the Turkish Cypriot leader Mustapha Akinci. Under this capacity, he participated in the Crans Montana talks in 2017. We will talk about his personal journey, the Turkish Cypriot Community, Cyprus and the recent developments with the appointment of Maria Angela Holguin Cuellar as the UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy on Cyprus.
