We have a BRAND NEW set for the show today along with Premier League winner and Leicester Legend Marc Albrighton! This week there was loads of talking points from the Premier League fixtures including Bournemouth cruising past Manchester City as they ENDED their 32-game unbeaten league record. Fighting for that number one spot is Arsenal, who also lost 1-0 to Newcastle with Alexander Isak scoring a header that sent them to 10th in the table. Liverpool also get a comeback win over Brighton scoring two goals in two minutes, however we discuss what might happen to the Reds if they lose 3 KEY PLAYERS... On the other hand, at the bottom of the table we saw some big six pointers, with Southampton hosting Everton and clinching a 1-0 win, Rambo with some incredible saves too! Ipswich will feel robbed with not getting a penalty and Kalvin Phillips saw red as they conceded a last minute equaliser to Leicester. Wolves and Crystal Palace were the last game on the Saturday ending in a frantic 2-2 draw with questions now posed to Gary O'Neil and his job. To round off Saturday's matches, Nottingham Forest beat West Ham 3-0 as they end the weekend in 3rd place with Chris Wood scoring AGAIN! Looking at the Sunday fixtures, Dominic Solanke scored two goals to seal a big 4-1 win over Aston Villa, with James Maddison also scoring a class free-kick for his 50th Premier League goal. Finally, what was set to be a blockbuster between Manchester United and Chelsea ended 1-1 with Manchester United fans looking forward to their new manager Ruben Amorim and hoping he can bring back the glory days... Finally we end with The Football Fill-In Quiz, can Marc get the guests tally off the mark for the season or will Ben or Tom triumph again? Watch the full episode on Spotify below! A much-needed 4-1 win over Ipswich has calmed fears going into the international break. There was free-flowing attacking football, signs of a style of play, new signings impressing and our best players putting in top draw performances once again. All of this means James is joined by a 'slightly' more positive Will to discuss the match, Michail Antonio's display, the atmosphere inside the London Stadium and much more.. including having a laugh at Kalvin Phillips. Blue Moon Podcast - A Manchester City Show

The winter break is over and Manchester City return with one of the most unwinnable games they could ever wish for... Spurs away in the FA Cup. David Mooney is joined by One Football's Dan Burke and the editor of Football 365, Sarah Winterburn, to preview that game, along with the trip to Burnley. We get insight into Spurs from Rosa from the Hometown Glory podcast, while Joe from TurfCast explains why things haven't gone to plan for Burnley this season. Since it's 20 years to the round where City came back from 3-0 down to beat Spurs 4-3 with ten men in an FA Cup replay, we hear from the players involved in that game to get their memories, too. Plus, we round-up the week's news - looking at Omar Berrada's move to Old Trafford, the departure of Kalvin Phillips, and (very briefly) the arrival of Claudio Echeverri from River Plate. ========== To get bonus podcasts or to listen without the ads, join our Patreon: http://www.patreon.com/BlueMoonPodcast

Hello Rank Squad! It's a slightly belated drop from us this week, but with the January window just days away from opening, we thought it was high time to take a look at some of the rumours that are flying around, and for Transfer Guru Dean Jones to give some insights on how likely they are to happen, whilst Jack adds some thoughts on how each of the players would fit into their rumoured new destinations. We discuss Gonçalo Inacio - linked with Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool; Jean-Clair Todibo - linked with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur; João Palhinha - linked with Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester City; Kalvin Phillips - linked with Juventus, Newcastle United and Crystal Palace; and Ivan Toney - linked with Chelsea and Arsenal. There's also time for Things We Love, where Dean shares a story of sending little Dylan to bed with United 2-0 down to Villa, only for the Red Devils to turn things around in fine style, whilst Jack discusses being sent for a hotdog by Betis' joke announcement of Joaquin returning to the club, and also the signing of USMNT international Johnny Cardoso. It's Ranks!
