As Thanksgiving approaches, Pastor Jordan Dunahee reflects on gratitude and shares a personal story about his connection to Illinois basketball. He humorously describes a game's 'Money Grab' segment, drawing a parallel to life's struggles with money and how the world's system is broken compared to God's economy. As part of the 'Relentless Pursuit' series, he emphasizes the significance of generosity as a pillar of discipleship. Pastor Jordan explores the biblical definition of generosity, urging congregants to view it as a gift rather than a burden. He delves into 2 Corinthians 8:1-9, highlighting the Macedonian churches' example of generosity despite their poverty. He underscores the importance of prioritizing generosity by first giving ourselves to the Lord and trusting Him with our finances. He shares a personal testimony about experiencing God's faithfulness in finances. Pastor Jordan concludes by emphasizing the grace of generosity, reflecting on God's ultimate gift through Jesus, and challenging the congregation to respond in generosity, prayer, and worship.

There is something at the center of our shared human experience, something deep in our souls, that longs to cry out to something beyond ourselves. Every person—man, woman, and child, Christian, Buddhist, or even Atheist—will find it hard not to exclaim their gratitude to a ‘Higher Power' for the greatest joys in life, or beg that same ‘Power' for deliverance in their most dire time of need. For the Christian, that ‘Higher Power' is the one true God revealed in Jesus Christ, and that ‘crying out' is a spiritual act called prayer—the sixth pillar in The Relentless Pursuit.

In the early 17th century, poet John Donne asserted in one of his writings that, “no man is an island…” Meaning that no person, no matter how gifted or resourceful, can ever truly be self-sufficient—we can't live this life on our own. Thousands of years before those words were written, God proclaimed it was “not good” for man to be alone. This week in The Relentless Pursuit, we pull back layers about how we were created to be in community with others.

Have you ever thought about how many things you trust without fully understanding them? Microwaves cook our food in seconds, but most of us can't explain how. Cars take us miles with the push of a pedal, yet few could build one from scratch. We trust these things work, even if we don't fully grasp how. The same goes for the work of the Holy Spirit in the life of disciples. This week in The Relentless Pursuit, we dive into the mystery of the Spirit.
Before he represented South Carolina in the halls of Congress or spoke to America every week on television and podcasts, Trey Gowdy spent years in the courtroom as a federal prosecutor, where he tried some of South Carolina's most haunting murder cases, later featured on Forensic Files. Trey reflects on the emotional toll of seeking justice for victims, why he ultimately left prosecution for Congress and a television career, and how his new novel, The Color of Death, draws inspiration from his real-life cases. While what comes to our minds when we think about God is foundational, it is equally important to know what comes to God's mind when He thinks about us. In fact, the whole of the Christian story could be summed up in God's opinion of us; that in His eyes, we were worth dying for. Our identity in Christ is the new reality that we are called to live from when we have stepped into the Kingdom and accepted Jesus as its King.

It's no different in our faith journey with Jesus. God relentlessly pursues us, and we call that story and good news, “the gospel.”

In this powerful premiere of KBR: On the Mark, hosts Anita Marks and Nevin Shapiro are joined by Gregory Yankow, a recently retired FBI special agent with 23 years of experience and the former lead investigator on the Nevin Shapiro case. Together, they take a deep dive into the headline-dominating University of Idaho quadruple homicide, the chilling details of the Bryan Kohberger investigation, and the disturbing psychology behind one of the most talked-about suspects in recent true crime history. This episode delivers an unfiltered breakdown of the case, packed with exclusive FBI insight, expert criminal profiling, and critical forensic analysis.Gregory Yankow reveals insider knowledge of the FBI's investigative strategies, including cell tower forensics, victimology profiling, and theories surrounding Kohberger's stalking behavior toward Kaylee Goncalves and Madison Mogen. The episode explores why Xana Kernodle and Ethan Chapin may have been collateral victims in this brutal crime and dissects the timeline that placed Kohberger near the crime scene for weeks prior to the murders. Greg also explains the impact of unsealed court records, how investigators build airtight cases in high-profile killings, and what's likely to surface as this true crime case continues to unfold. The conversation turns raw and emotional as the hosts discuss the powerful victim impact statements during Kohberger's sentencing—especially the viral courtroom moment from Olivia Goncalves, who confronted her sister's killer face-to-face. The trio explores narcissism in violent offenders, prison dynamics for high-profile criminals, and how killers like Kohberger use psychological manipulation in and out of court. What a Creep (Replay!) Season 20, Episode 7George Washington and the Tale of Ona JudgeGeorge Washington is the “Father of Our Country” and one of American history's most revered Founding Fathers. We heard tales of how brave he was and that he could not tell a lie. He also famously refused to create a fiefdom with the office of President, which means we are not stuck with someone in office unless they are duly elected. Like many white people of his time, he enslaved people. This is a fact, and though not unusual in his peer group--it's not a great look for a person who is enshrined all across the United States. People want to downplay his racism and evil acts.Listening to Bill Maher and Elon Musk minimize his actions made us realize we need to dive into one of the first President's most heinous acts by talking about badass Ona Judge. An enslaved woman who escaped from the President's home and remained free despite his relentless pursuit of her. This woman is an American hero whom everyone who truly believes in liberty and freedom needs to learn about and memorialize her contribution to history. Retired agent Katherine Schweit reviews Operation UNITED, the largest coordinated exhumation of unidentified murder victims in FBI history. Detroit Police Detective Shannon Jones and FBI Special Agent Leslie Larsen spearheaded the initiative. Their primary goal was to identify the nameless dead and bring closure to families who had spent decades wondering what happened to their loved ones. Their ultimate goal was to solve 200 murder cases. Jones and Larsen assembled a team led by female forensic anthropologists, scientists, and investigators. Katherine Schweit is the author of "Women Who Talk to the Dead: The True Story of 200 Forgotten Murder Victims and the Relentless Pursuit of Justice by an FBI Agent and a Detroit Police Detective."
