We'll be chopping it up with Faisal Alam about his heritage, favorite soul food, and his time as a lawyer. We'll also see how this became the Thanksgiving hood film in the first place. "When I Get Home" is a great example of peak early-period John Lennon. It's a raucous track with interesting harmonies, an amazing vocal delivered with all the attitude and swagger of someone who'd dared to take on the world and won. It's a brutal, rocking punch that found it's way to the second half of the "A Hard Day's Night" album. It's really got nothing going against it, other than it's maybe the most "throwaway" of John's early peak. Well, that, and maybe one of the worst bits of lyric the man every committed to tape. But he sells it and the track wins in the end. **Note** No cows were hurt in the making of this episode. Joining us this week are the hosts of one of our favorite podcasts, "El Vinilo." Thanks to the internets, we check in with Matt, Adam, and Grace over in that oft-spoken city of Liverpool. Their podcast (one of the favorites in the RTB house) is a look at Rolling Stone Magazine's top 100 albums of all time, and each week they discuss an album and compare it with a new release to see what stands up or stands out. We touch on growing up and discovering The Beatles in Liverpool, The Beatles' influence on worship music, the pros and cons of loving til the cows come home, and how to run a podcast based on a list when the list gets changed well after you start that podcast! Do yourselves a favor and join in their discussions by subscribing to their show, following them on Instagram or Facebook, or picking up some of their wicked merch! If someone asked you what the best episode of your favorite tv show was, what would you pick? For Stella Cheeks, it's "A Balance of Terror" from Star Trek TOS, and for Erin Cline, it's the X-Files episode "Bad Blood." It's false bites, and space fights, canceled weddings, and vibrating beddings as our X-Trekkers experience the best episodes for the first time! Note: No one was drugged during the recording of this episode. --- About the podcast: Erin Cline and Stella Cheeks have been friends for over a decade, but have never seen each other's favorite TV show. Seeking to rectify that grievous error (seriously, they used to live together), X-Treks was born! Each week the duo choose one episode from Star Trek: The Original Series and one episode from The X-Files that fits a previously chosen cinematic theme, watch them together, and share their feelings! With sufficient data on the four beasts in general, Daniel seeks special amplification on the fourth beast. The fourth beast dominates the remainder of Daniel's vision, and should dominate our focus. Why- Because the fourth beast forms the ultimate impression of Daniel's vision and God's plan---I. Daniel's inspired INTRODUCTION to his Vision - v.1-II. Daniel's inspired IDENTIFICATION of his Vision - vs. 2-14-III. Daniel's inspired INVESTIGATION into his Vision - vs. 15-16a-IV. Daniel's inspired ILLUMINATION of his Vision - v. 16b-V. Daniel's inspired INTERPRETATION of his Vision - vs. 17-18-VI. Daniel's inspired IMPRESSION of his Vision - vs. 19-28--NOTE- No less than 4x Scripture asserts its diversity- The word implies transformative change. This prophetic transition throughout the ages drives a biblical understanding of the fourth beast and God's eschatological agenda.--A. The FIRST phase of the fourth beast - vs. 19 - 23.--1. Its DESCRIPTION-2. Its DEEDS-3. Its DESIGNATION - The 4th kingdom - Ancient ROME---B. The FUTURE phase of the fourth beast - vs. 20a - 24a.--1. Its DESCRIPTION - 10 horns-2. Its DERIVATION - NOT the beast- Comes out of the beast--3. Its DESIGNATION - 10 kings -Revived Western Coalition---C. The FINAL phase of the fourth beast - vs. 20b-22 - 24b-26.--1. His DERIVATION - Kingdom becomes the king from System--2. His DESCRIPTION-3. His DEEDS-4. His DURATION - 1260 Days-5. Today’s guest is Kimberly. Recently, Kimberly tested positive for the COVID-19 virus, also known as Coronavirus. She is a doctor. Note: No information on this website or this podcast should be construed as medical advice. The host is not a doctor. The guest for this episode is in fact a doctor, but she is in no way offering any medical advice here. If you have any questions concerning your health, you should consult your own physician. Kimberly was aware early on of how the COVID-19 virus was spreading, and she took extraordinary measures to avoid getting infected. She was concerned for herself, her husband and their 3 year old daughter. But even more so, she worried about the possibility of her parents contracting the virus; in particular, her father, who already has health issues that would make COVID-19 especially dangerous for him. But in spite of her efforts, she tested positive. And her case has been a rather severe and drawn-out one. She described her symptoms each day as she fought the virus for over a month. Just when she would think she was recovering, it would return. Kimberly agreed to come on the podcast and tell her story because she wants others who have tested positive to know they are not going through it alone. And to advise those recovering to take things slowly. Kimberly kept a journal of her journey through this experience, and you can read that here: https://medium.com/@drkimberlykruse/your-test-was-positive-d2638fbbe450

One side of the river rumbles onto a stone embankment and down the rocks as waterfalls typically do. The other side, however, flows into a geological wonder known as the Devil’s Kettle, and… disappears? In 2016 geologists claimed to have solved the Mystery of the Devil's Kettle, but three years later many still don't believe they truly solved it. Joe and Jaye took the hike to the Devil's Kettle to see it for themselves and speak with some visitors on where they think the water goes once it enters the Devil's Kettle. Note: No small animals or children were harmed in the making of this episode. In what was meant to be a quick update on the lack on episodes recently, Brandon and Kenny dive deep and discuss the mountain of work they're tackling with IMDb, Brandon's baby worries, Kenny's FaceApp worries, and Walken's two brothers: Kenneth and Glenn, both who have apparently acted in various projects through the 50s, 60s, and 70s. NOTE: No shoutouts on this one. This is just meant as an update episode. We'll get you Ronnies next time.
Think of your biggest dream. Your biggest goal. The one that makes you quiver because you KNOW you don’t completely have what it takes to accomplish it. The one where the path feels completely obscure, and maybe you can only see the first step or two. That’s the size of the goal I want you to have in mind when you listen to today’s episode with Rachel Nearhood. Rachel is the founder of Ellie and Ott, a subscription that gives parents a month-by-month game plan to enhance playtime with their little ones and to hone their parenting chops. Yes, Ellie and Ott is an incredible business, but where Rachel and I dig in today is in her journey toward creating this incredible business. Specifically, we touch on: Her original idea and the fact that she had to pivot and change it to make it successful. (NOTE: No where in that sentence did I utter the word “fail” the way that some people would think about this type of pivot.) How little she knew how to do in the beginning and how she went about figuring everything out along the way. Where she sees herself taking this business in the future! You guys are going to love this inspirational episode with Rachel. Think of your biggest dream, and listen to this before you ever give up on it.

Avengers: Endgame is finally here, and we made sure we did whatever it takes to bring you the best podcast we could. And if we failed, well, we'll just go back in time and fix it. As we brought together a cavalcade of unlikely movie reviewers, spanning the cosmos and reality, itself, we broke down the incredible characters and the mind-bending plot of this latest film, as well as stopping along the way to go down some dark, parallel tangents of our own. Even Howard the Duck turned up at one point. (You heard me.) This one is nothing if not epic, so make sure you've got your tissues ready for a Happy Ending (no, not that kind), eat a salad and relax in your Thanos-Man-Cave, as we present UNT 75: Avengers: Endgame. NOTE: No raccoons were harmed in the making of this podcast. Hosted by: ‘Captain Beers-in-the-Bucket, Bro' Greig Tansley (@GreigT13). Featuring: ‘The Inevitable SuperJew' Jared Robinovitz (@Superjew75), ‘Professor Hulk' Tim Agne (@timagne), ‘America's Ass' Mateo Morales (@matt_morales), ‘Culinary Genius – Only on Earth' Craig DeCruize (@WWEChef), and ‘I Want My X-Men' Mike Dipasquale (@maplesyrupdick).
