Radix DLT is a Layer-1 distributed ledger—think blockchain for DeFi, but without the clunky blocks. It's built from the ground up to make decentralized finance smoother, safer, and more scalable. Why you should listen Radix DLT is a full-stack Layer-1, distributed ledger technology (DLT) platform purpose-built for the next wave of decentralized finance (DeFi) and Web3 development. Unlike traditional blockchains, Radix isn't chained to blocks—it's a true DLT leveraging its novel Cerberus consensus algorithm, offering atomic composability across shards and effectively limitless scalability. That means DeFi dApps can interoperate seamlessly in a single transaction without choking on traffic—Radix is engineered to scale to the needs of global finance. Radix isn't just about raw speed—it doubles down on usability. On the user side, the Radix Wallet brings clarity: no more blind signing or seed-phrase nightmares. Transactions are human-readable, and multi-factor, decentralized account recovery makes losing access a bore of the past. For developers, Radix gives you Scrypto—the world's first asset-centric smart contract language—and the Radix Engine, a DeFi-optimized “game engine” for building secure, composable dApps fast. Think of it as trading in clunky old engines for a sleek, intuitive ride that actually encourages innovation. Radix wasn't tinkering around—it's OECD-scale serious. With integrated, platform-native identity solutions baked right into its design, Radix is tackling one of the biggest barriers to real-world adoption: bridging crypto and compliance. That means institutional investors can actually bring capital on-chain, using verifiable, on-ledger identity in a way that's compatible with KYC/AML frameworks. If Web3 is ever going mainstream, it needs to solve identity—not just scalability and UX. Radix aims to check all three boxes. This week on Better Business, Better Life, host Debra Chantry-Taylor is joined by venture capitalist and bestselling author Ben Wiener to unpack the art and challenges of startup pitches. With only two out of ten startups likely to succeed, Ben shares how founders can stand out using his H.E.A.R.T. framework: Hypothesis, Enormous Stakes, Alternatives, Radically Different, and Team. From his journey in law and venture capital to writing Fever Pitch, Ben offers practical insights into what investors really want to hear and why storytelling matters as much as strategy. He explains how anticipating questions, neutralising competition early, and presenting a differentiated solution can make all the difference. Beyond pitching, Ben emphasises the value of active reading, empathy, and paying it forward - reminding us that business success is often rooted in doing the right thing for others. Whether you're a startup founder, a leader refining your communication, or simply curious about what makes ideas resonate, this episode is packed with wisdom and actionable tools. Conservatives and liberals will often use similar language about values like freedom and community, but they mean radically different things. Every week it seems like a progressive politician is declaring that some foreign group, like soldiers in Ukraine or illegal immigrants, is actually more in line with American values than the people who actually make up America. We'll be diving into the ideas of proximity and particularity and why they are so critical to understanding the divide in values between the political Right and Left. Lindsey and Dan felt sick at how they and their bodies were treated during their struggle with infertility. They felt they were being sold hope that couldn't be promised, by doctors who told them they had no answers. The entire journey didn't sit right with them, so they went looking for other avenues. How do we stand with Jesus against a world that too often tramples the best interests of women and the needs of children, that regularly ignores the plight of the hungry, the houseless, the addicted, the stranger, and the outcast?” After all, the world we inhabit wasn't created just to bless people like us; it was created to carve out space so that all whom God loves can live and flourish with dignity. And if we want to be like God, our vocation is to learn to participate in such a world—not to try to remake it in our own image. https://www.notion.so/derekpenwell/A-Radically-Different-World-Mark-10-2-16-1178fca125b9809c8b9eceef6f2b60fb?pvs=4Subscribe to us on iTunes! Intellectual honesty is a rare commodity in the divide between Israelis and Palestinians. It is even rarer with the rise of Jewish ultra-nationalism and a generation of Israelis and Palestinians nurtured on prejudiced, biased, and often supremacist perceptions of the other. The irony is that historically, it was far-right militants, and currently, it is fringe left-wing intellectuals who displayed intellectual honesty, even if their conclusions differ radically.

Weaving the Future Podcast is a passion project birthed at the height of the pandemic, and the podcast episodes I released at this time are very close to my heart. They capture deep reflections on the kind of world I want to live in and my role in shaping it. The podcast has mostly been on hiatus over the past few years as I grappled with some massive changes in my life. In the background, I have actively continued to live the questions that have shaped this work. In this episode, I reflect on the question of How can we live and work in radically different ways? In particular, how do we move toward lives that are nourishing, just, compassionate, meaningful, sacred, joyful, sensual….? How do we return to a sense of belonging with ourselves, other humans, the web of life and the land?I start with some deep and vulnerable storytelling about the last decade of my life, in which I have orchestrated some extraordinary transformation in my life and my approach to work. I share insights on living and working in radically different ways, emphasizing embodying deep love and nourishment for oneself over urgency and fear. The episode ends with an open discussion inviting some of the people most dear to me who attended the live recording to share feedback, questions and suggestions for future episodes. If you would like to learn more about me and my work, check out:www.weavingthefuture.netwww.tapestrycollectiveco-op
Hashoshi interviews Jarek Hirniak, Protocol Architect at Axo, to discuss the universal trading protocol that uses the eUTXO blockchain model to its fullest extent. While you may be familiar with DEXs like Uniswap that use account-based blockchains like Ethereum, building DeFi primitives on a blockchain like Cardano offer a wildly different set of both opportunities and constraints; these allow developers to build a variety of unique types of decentralized financial products that are only possible in this different environment. Learn more about Axo by reading the paper or visiting their website: Paper - https://www.axo.trade/whitepaper.pdf Website - https://www.axo.trade ☕️ Subscribe to the Crypto over Coffee newsletter for weekly alpha, analysis and more! https://cryptoovercoffee.beehiiv.com/subscribe Takeaways AXO is a decentralized finance project that aims to solve the challenges of building an automated market maker (AMM) by leveraging the UTXO model. The UTXO model used by Cardano allows for independent actors to define their own rules for trading, leading to more efficient markets. AXO's X-Lang is a domain-specific language that allows users to define trading rules and create programmable swaps. AXO plans to expand its functionality to include lending and borrowing, options, futures, perpetuals, and prediction markets. Axo is focused on the evolution of X-Lang and the potential for decentralization in trading protocols. Composability and user experience are key considerations in DeFi, and Axo aims to address these challenges. Axo is working on user education and onboarding to make DeFi more accessible to a wider audience. Axo has a unique approach to yield farming and is developing a new model to reward liquidity providers. Users can start using Axo by visiting the Axo website and exploring the basic and pro modes. Have you ever heard the cynical phrase, "No good deed goes unpunished"?This seems like a relevant comment as we read the final Beatitude in Matthew5:10. Why would someone who demonstrates the qualities of verses 3-9 bepersecuted in verse 10? The simple response is that the sinful flesh does notlike the righteousness of God. When individuals, or rulers of this world, believethe righteousness of God is a threat to their own ambitions, they will persecutebelievers. Yet, there is another response to these beatitudes, the response offaith as people discover God anew (verse 16). Genuinely living out our faith willelicit both of these responses from others. Is this positive response worth therisk of persecution?

There are plenty of judicial analytics and litigation prediction tools on the market. They may have differences in execution and focus, but the general rule of thumb is that they look at a judge's past rulings and opinions to predict how that judge might rule on a similar motion or case in the future. For instance, you can look up how a particular judge on prior motions to dismiss on certain employment discrimination cases to get an idea how they might rule on a similar one currently pending in their courtroom. That knowledge can be important for lawyers.
