Tiihosen tarina on tästä äärimmäinen esimerkki.Saari paljastaa, ettei koskaan kysynyt Tiihoselta suoraan, miksi juuri hänet haluttiin kirjan kirjoittajaksi.
No näitä lähdetään selvittämään arvostelussa. Olento nähnyt tämän leffan? Mitä mieltä siitä? Mikä on sinun suosikki merirosvo leffa? Entä suosikki Renny Harlin leffa?
In this episode, we're joined by Lukas Saari, CEO and Co-Founder of Tandem Health, the AI-driven platform transforming how clinicians and healthcare teams work together to deliver better patient outcomes. By combining customer obsession with advanced automation, Tandem Health empowers providers to streamline workflows, reduce administrative burden, and keep the human touch at the center of care. We spoke with Lukas about how AI is reshaping one of the most traditional industries and how Tandem Health has built trust with customers by deeply understanding their real-world pain points. Here are some of the key questions we address: How do you build trust with customers in industries where credibility and experience matter most? Why should commercial and product teams include people who've actually lived their customers' pain points? How does every new onboarding experience fuel product innovation? What role does deep customer understanding play in deciding where to take the product next? Why must SaaS founders think in terms of “jobs to be done” rather than features, and how does that mindset unlock customer value?

Lori Daybell Trial: She Called It an Accident Lori Vallow called the life insurance company just one week after Charles Vallow was shot to death, calmly reporting his death and trying to file a claim on his $2 million policy. When asked the cause of death, Lori paused, then said, “Well, he was shot. I don't know if I want to put that,” before quickly clarifying, “It was an accident.” In that moment, she wasn't calling as a grieving widow. She sounded like someone handling paperwork for a delayed flight. Robin Scott, a claims processor for Banner Life, testified that Lori believed she was still the primary beneficiary. But Charles had changed that months before, making Kay Woodcock—the grandmother of JJ Vallow—the sole recipient. Banner sent Lori a letter informing her she wasn't the beneficiary. It didn't say who was, just that she wasn't. After receiving the email, Lori left a voicemail, then finally got Scott on the phone. In that recorded call played in court, Lori gave her name, spelled out the policy number, and made a point of noting that she and Charles had five kids and had been married fifteen years. She also brought up their adopted 7-year-old son, JJ, who had autism, expressing shock that Charles would make a beneficiary change without telling her. But none of that changed the facts—she was no longer entitled to the money. Scott explained in her testimony that changing a beneficiary is a straightforward but secure process. If a policy is valued over $500,000, the form must be notarized. That's exactly what Charles did in February 2019, five months before his death. Lori may have suspected it, but hearing the confirmation seemed to catch her off guard. Back in the courtroom, forensic evidence added grim clarity to what really happened to Charles Vallow. Dr. Derek Baumgarner, the medical examiner who performed the autopsy, described two fatal gunshot wounds. One to the chest and one to the abdomen. The first bullet traveled through the chest, perforating the heart, and exited out the back. The second shot entered the abdomen, tore through tissue and a lung, then exited out the shoulder. The exit wound bore a telltale “shored” pattern—meaning Charles was lying against a hard surface when the bullet exited his body. He was likely shot again while already on the ground. There was stippling near one wound—tiny abrasions caused by gunpowder particles—indicating the gun was fired from close range, likely just two to four feet away. No drugs or alcohol were found in Charles' system. The official cause of death: multiple gunshot wounds. And according to the ME, neither wound was instantly fatal—Charles may have lived for a few seconds, maybe a few minutes. Enough time, perhaps, to reach toward his injuries or collapse to his knees, as abrasions on his knees and hands suggested a fall. Firearms expert Jeff Moberg from the Department of Public Safety testified about the gun used in the shooting. A semi-automatic handgun, found in Alex Cox's bag, had fired the rounds recovered from the scene. When a bullet travels through the barrel, it picks up microscopic markings—essentially a ballistic fingerprint. That fingerprint matched casings found at the scene to Alex's gun. Moberg explained how casings from semi-automatic firearms are ejected after firing. One trigger pull, one shot, and then it cycles another round. It's not just the projectile that carries evidence—the casing left behind holds telltale markings too. Moberg, trained in forensic firearm analysis, verified that the casings from the scene were consistent with rounds fired from Alex Cox's gun. The kind of evidence that doesn't lie, doesn't bend to emotion, and doesn't forget. Then came the financials. The Social Security Office's Mark Saari testified that Lori Vallow received survivor benefits not just for JJ Vallow, but for herself as well. After Charles' death, she received $1,951 per month for JJ, with backpay of nearly $4,000. She also received her own benefits, totaling around the same amount. Combined, Lori was pulling in almost $4,000 a month. But there was a catch. If she remarried, her eligibility for the spousal portion of the benefit would end. Which is exactly what happened when she married Chad Daybell in November 2019. The payments stopped—at least the ones meant for her. Saari also revealed that Lori had previously been receiving benefits as the representative payee for Tylee Ryan, from the death of Tylee's father. It wasn't just one financial pipeline—Lori had several. But Social Security benefits require recipients to follow the rules, and when Saari investigated, he found discrepancies. For instance, Lori never told the agency she had remarried. She continued to receive spousal benefits until investigators discovered the change. That's not a clerical error. That's fraud. On the stand, Lori attempted to suggest that Social Security employees might have made mistakes during her application process, that maybe someone entered the wrong code or clicked the wrong box. But Saari stood firm. He had reviewed all the documentation. The forms Lori filled out were correct—for the benefits she applied for. And she applied for them. In the end, all the legal wrangling, insurance claims, and benefit paperwork come back to one day: July 11, 2019. That's when Charles Vallow was shot. Two bullets. No drugs. One witness—Alex Cox—who claimed it was self-defense. But the physical evidence, the phone calls, the policy forms, and the forensic reports all speak louder than words. #LoriVallow #CharlesVallow #TrueCrimePodcast #AutopsyEvidence Want to listen to ALL our podcasts AD-FREE? Pontuksen kuuluminen: Pontus on löytänyt hyvinvointia elämäänsä keskiluokkaisuudesta. Saadaanko Ukrainaan osittainen tulitauko? Toimittajana on Linda Pelkonen.

Kuunteleminen on yksi suurimmista lahjoista, jonka voimme toisillemme antaa.

Guest: Saari Gardner, the Chief Experience Officer at CEO Coaching International. Saari is responsible for setting the client experience strategy, managing the client journey, and championing client impact. Quick Background: While the title "Chief Experience Officer" is relatively new, the executive-level responsibilities that will fall on the CXO's desk are not. Before considering a costly new c-suite hire, your company needs to have a holistic understanding of how touchpoints with customers and employees fulfill needs and exceed expectations. Guided by the CEO's vision, a CXO can raise those standards, maintain consistency across every department, and build a powerful culture that will Make BIG Happen. On today's show, Saari Gardner discusses the CXO's multifaceted responsibilities, from being a changemaker and a voice for the customer at the executive table to reducing internal friction that impacts customer satisfaction. Saari also highlights the link between employee experience and customer service excellence and how fostering a positive work environment translates into superior customer interactions. We also explore the strategic considerations for integrating a CXO into your company, including when to recognize the need for this role and how to measure its impact on your business's bottom line.

Do you have someone in your life, who you're concerned might be undereating? Many seniors in our society think that lower appetite, losing weight, and getting chronic conditions are all a part of "normal" aging. There are some schools of thought that suggest aging is a disease, since, if an individual continues to have a healthy lifestyle, they can actually slow down the biological clock on health demise. Michelle Saari, RD runs a business, called The Long Term Care RD to help older people, their families, and other dietitians, learn more about the importance of nutrition in later years of life. We discuss signs and symptoms to look out for to identify if someone has malnutrition. We talk about maintaining health and quality of life long into the golden years and that malnutrition is not inevitable for every senior. Strategies are shared to help elderly people improve their nutrition through diet and healthy lifestyle. This one is a good one to check out! Listen Now to The Future Now Show 12.12.2023 Activist Kathryn Saari checks in, reminding us of how important it is to connect directly with our elected Kathryn Saari practicing ‘social engineering’ at Santa Cruz City Councilrepresentatives locally, such as our city council members. Even though many city councils are now online, including ours in Santa Cruz County, it is much more impactful to actually attend the meetings and engage our representatives in person, especially if you are a beautiful woman. (I made that last part up). Kathryn also suggests we stay on top of the county’s interest in automotive license plate readers and their potential abuses. This week Alex Jones was re-admitted to Twitter, er, X. after a multi-year ban, and Elon speaks to him directly on X Spaces, a truly epic conversation! We have a link and excerpt for you, with some deconstructions of the significance of this group voice chat. Also, our regular irregular caller/guests Billy Sunshine and Gabrielle Cianfrani check in from their resort party pad in the Key West, Florida with their ‘report’ on what’s going on there with them. And if you like Jimmy Stewart you may love or possibly hate his resurrection for narrating a ‘sleep’ story. We give you a sample that is ‘spookily’ effective. Was the Titantic sunk by fire as well as ice? New evidence suggests yes! And other new evidence suggests that our microbiome directly affects our moods.. pass the microbes! ..enjoy!

And so it really came very organically, for me. And yeah, so that's the real start to things.” -Jason Saari Welcome to a brand-new episode of the Woodpreneur Podcast. Today, your host Steve Larosiliere is joined by Jason Saari,a skilled carpenter hailing from the picturesque town of Ucluelet in British Columbia. Join us as we delve into Jason's incredible journey, from his early inspiration to his recent adventures in Japanese carpentry. Jason's journey into carpentry began with a childhood fascination sparked by his father, a dedicated do-it-yourselfer. Watching his father rebuild and create ignited Jason's belief in his ability to craft. High school woodshop further fueled his passion, setting the stage for a career that would span nearly three decades. Listen now and get the whole story! “ I have done projects for people where there were more explicit details that are Japanese. And it's again, it's come rather organically the the enthusiasm that I have for my share with the client, and so far, it's always been met with with a lot of enthusiasm and appreciation.” -Jason Saari The Catalyst for Change: Despite his extensive experience in construction, Jason faced challenges in finding fulfillment and fair compensation for his skills. A turning point came with the passing of his father in 2018, prompting deep reflection on life's purpose. Inspired by a long-standing admiration for Japanese craftsmanship, Jason embarked on a transformative journey influenced by the magic of the internet, Instagram, and YouTube. Embracing Japanese Carpentry: Jason immersed himself in the artistry of Japanese carpentry, drawing inspiration from masters like Meow Die Coo. His dedication to mastering authentic Japanese techniques over the past four years has resulted in a unique blend of craftsmanship and aesthetic appeal. Challenges of Becoming a Brand: The transition from being an employee to an independent subcontractor brought its own set of challenges. Jason shares the struggles of becoming his own brand, facing periods of unemployment that took a toll on his mental health. However, an upward trend in the last four years has seen him overcome these challenges and find renewed purpose in his craft. The Intersection of Passion and Profit: As Jason aligns his passion for Japanese carpentry with his business, he reflects on the most rewarding projects. While profit remains a nebulous term for him, he emphasizes the joy derived from the projects he finds most fulfilling, such as a recent greenhouse build. Want to get in touch with Jason Saari? YK:n ilmastokokous eli COP28-kokous alkaa torstaina Dubaissa. Honkatukian mielestä hyvin tärkeää on mitä Kiina tekee. Toimittajana on Linda Pelkonen.

Toimittajana on Linda Pelkonen.
The authors of two of 2022's most atmospheric historical fiction novels come together to discuss their books which trace compelling family dramas in richly-drawn settings from Western Australia to Iceland. Emily Brugman's The Islands follows the sweeping story of the Saari family, a small group of Finnish migrants who come to find a new home on a tiny island in an archipelago off the coast of Western Australia in the mid-1950s. Kári Gíslason's The Sorrow Stone takes a sidelined figure from the Viking tales and places her at the centre of an epic story of betrayal and revenge, set against the dramatic backdrop of the Icelandic countryside. Emily and Kári discuss their enthralling novels with Susan Wyndham. If you enjoyed this episode, please rate and follow our channel. Photographer, skateboarder, and most recently North Shore documentarian Arto Saari returns to the podcast to talk about how finally deciding to shoot everyday life around him in his adopted home of the North Shore of O'ahu would re-inspire his passion for photography and turn into a beautiful ongoing body of work that was recently featured by The Surfer's Journal in a feature and short video piece titled "Nordic Blood. Tropic Heart." During our conversation Arto talks about finally feeling like he's becoming part of the tight knit community that is the north shore, how and why he first started taking photos off of the bike path in town, when he realized that there was something visually there that was constantly pulling him back, the unique challenges of shooting street style documentarian work in a small town that you reside in, and what the future might hold for the images he's been accumulating. Miltä Ukrainan sota näyttää Venäjän näkökulmasta? Mitä Vlamir Putin tavoittelee ja mikä on strategia? Haastateltavana Ulkopoliittisen institituutin johtava tutkija Sinikukka Saari. Toimittajana on Linda Pelkonen.

If you've been following Fabulous Farm Babe on Facebook, you might have noticed a "SCAM" alert posted on Friday afternoon. It told the story of a southeast Wisconsin dairy operation that was targeted. The post stated that the farm was relocating and wanted to "rehome" some cattle. Since that post, life at Golden E has been anything but normal. Kim Saari took a moment to explain to Pam Jahnke when the farm first became aware that they were the target of this scam. Since then, there's been a steady stream of voice messages, text messages and actual physical visits to the farm looking for these phantom animals. Saari says the worst part is that people parted with money via Venmo, and have no cattle and no recourse. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
