In this episode of @empoweredwithgina Gina Zapanta reminds women that big dreams don't require bigger visions — they require better habits. Too often, we believe we're “stuck” because we lack clarity or the right opportunity, when in reality, we're missing the daily structure, discipline, and self-leadership it takes to bring our goals to life.Gina shares five powerful truths about why your habits matter more than motivation, why alignment is more important than struggle, and how to hold yourself to a higher standard without falling into the trap of perfectionism. From auditing your patterns to protecting your boundaries, this is a call to action for women ready to stop hoping for change and start creating it.If you've been dreaming big but feeling stagnant, this is your blueprint for finally building the life you've envisioned — one consistent, intentional habit at a time.
What if success wasn't something to chase — something you were never meant to inherit? In this raw, revelatory episode, I share the truth behind what it really means to awaken and succeed as a Black woman in systems never built for us. This is my most personal transmission yet — a reflection shaped by my recent fall, my daughter's terrified eyes, and the deeper fire that has been rising in me ever since. We talk about:
Ever look at your successful practice and think, "This should be enough"? You have everything you thought you wanted: steady clients, professional recognition, maybe even the financial stability you once dreamed of. But there's a persistent feeling that something's missing, a voice inside saying, "There has to be more than this." Maybe you find yourself going through the motions of your workday, checking off tasks that used to excite you but now feel routine. Or perhaps you catch yourself daydreaming about what else you could be doing with your expertise, your time, your one precious life. That restlessness isn't a sign that something's wrong with you. It's your inner wisdom recognizing that you've evolved beyond the goals you set years ago, and it's time to honor that growth. You're not alone in this struggle, and you're definitely not ungrateful for wanting more. What you're experiencing happens when the achievements that were supposed to fulfill you start feeling disconnected from who you've become. The high achiever's dilemma isn't about wanting too much; it's about recognizing that you've outgrown the container you created and now it's time to build something that actually fits who you are today. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN IN THIS EPISODE In this episode, I'm sharing why successful dietitians often feel stuck and unfulfilled despite achieving their professional goals, so you can understand the difference between external success and internal alignment. This is for high-achieving nutrition professionals who have built something real but find themselves wondering if this is really what they worked so hard for. Here's the breakdown: Why traditional markers of success can become their own kind of mental bondage The hidden cost of being the "go-to" dietitian and maintaining professional expectations How your current success was built on who you were, not who you've become The real reason you feel stuck (hint: it's not about strategy or tactics) The three pillars of aligned success that honor both your achievements and your evolution Practical first steps to start realigning your practice with your current values and priorities Permission to want more than "successful on paper" without guilt or apology RESOURCES & LINKS Related Episodes: Episode 320: The New 9 to 5 Episode 322: Reinvention CONNECT & TAKE ACTION Find Christine: Email: christine@manipuracentre.co Podcast: Make More Money as a Dietitian on Apple Podcasts | Spotify Community: Join 1200+ dietitians in The Make More Money as a Dietitian Community Instagram: @money.mindset.dietitian Website: manipuracentre.co Your Next Steps: Step 1: Join the Community Connect with other dietitians transforming their careers in our free Facebook group, The Make More Money as a Dietitian Community Step 2: Get Weekly Insights Sign up for the Manipura Centre Saturday Newsletter for mindset tips and business strategies specifically for experienced RDs at manipuracentre.co Step 3: Start To Love Your Work AgainIf you're tired of going through the motions and ready to create work that actually excites you again, explore how we can work together at manipuracentre.co/booking

If you've built a successful business but still feel stuck, exhausted, or like you're forcing every outcome, this episode offers a refreshing perspective on scaling with soul, strategy, and sanity. What You'll Learn: 1. Why "just being strategic" stops working at higher levels of business success 2. The difference between chasing abundance and allowing it to flow to you naturally 3. How your nervous system impacts your ability to scale sustainably 4. The power of making clear requests to the universe while releasing attachment to outcomes 5. Why community and being truly seen are essential for business expansion 6. Real client transformation stories that prove it's about becoming, not just doing 7. How to shift from over-functioning to receiving what's already trying to reach you 8. The energetic frequency that successful entrepreneurs embody versus those who struggle Sarah Walton challenges the conventional wisdom that business success comes solely from better strategies and harder work. Drawing from 18 years of entrepreneurial experience, she reveals how the most successful business owners operate from a different frequency altogether-one of alignment, trust, and receiving rather than constant chasing and forcing. The episode opens with Sarah's powerful assertion that "businesses don't fail, they quit," setting the stage for a deeper exploration of what happens when entrepreneurs move beyond survival mode into true abundance. Through the delightful story of manifesting the perfect pair of jeans, Sarah illustrates how the universe responds when we make clear requests without attachment, demonstrating principles that directly apply to business growth. Sarah addresses the loneliness and isolation many entrepreneurs face, explaining how the quality of our daily conversations shapes our business reality. She emphasizes that successful scaling isn't about finding better tactics, but about becoming the person who can hold larger results without breaking. The episode includes inspiring stories from her Abundance Academy, where clients have achieved 7x revenue growth by shifting their energy and approach. Key insights include understanding that 90%of sales is energy while only 10% is what you're selling, the importance of surrounding yourself with the right community, and how our nervous system either supports or sabotages our next level of success. Sarah concludes with practical guidance on moving from strategy-focused to frequency-focused business building. You want to be a successful Multifamily Investor. It's not as simple as investing some money and then sitting back and collecting your checks. It's a lot of work, and there's a lot of risk involved. There is a good chance you'll fail, and there are three reasons specifically why you're likely to fail. In this episode, Isaiah and I discuss those three reasons. The first is the signal and the noise. As an investor, there are a lot of things competing for your attention, and you have to prioritize the ones that get you results from the ones that get you distracted. Second, every day is a roller coaster. You're going to have ups and downs, and often at the same time. You need the emotional fitness to keep going when everything depends on you keeping a clear head. Finally, there is stress and pressure. It's a stressful job, and you're going to have to find ways to deal with that pressure that don't end up bringing you down in the long run. Watch this video to hear three major reasons most people fail, so you can be successful.

This week's “How She Finds Purpose” insight comes from Dr. Lynise Green. She says – “Figure out a way to just take a beat, take a pause, and really just see yourself. Where are you in your life? How do you fit into your life? And I think, again, that comes back to that being aligned with your values and your purpose. Because I think when we lose that alignment, that's when we lose ourselves in in our own story.” Dr. Lynise Green is a wellness leadership consultant who helps high-achieving women reclaim the parts of themselves they've put on pause while trying to keep everything else going. For years, she was the go-to person—juggling career, family, and everyone's needs but her own. On the outside, she had it all together. On the inside, she was burnt out and deeply disconnected from herself. In this episode, she opens up about her career in engineering, repeated cycles of burnout, and how those hard lessons helped shape the purposeful work she does today. Here are 3 reasons why you should listen to this episode: You'll hear what burnout can really look like—even when everything seems fine from the outside. You'll discover how to spot early warning signs that you're slipping out of alignment with your purpose—before it turns into a full-blown crisis. You'll walk away with a clear reminder that there is a different way to lead and live—one that honors both your ambition and your well-being. Acts 2:15 says And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: The Truth About Dreams and Reality We all dream of doing better, reaching higher, and following what ignites our souls. But what happens when a dream turns out to be more fantasy than foundation? What if, over time, it proves unprofitable, unsustainable, or even harmful to our well-being? This question is especially relevant for anyone striving to live out their “passions,” sometimes without embracing the responsibilities of adulthood. While chasing your dreams can be fulfilling, it's equally important to recognize when a dream needs adjusting—or when reality demands a shift in perspective. Signs Your Dream Might Need a Shift 1. Financial Instability That Never Improves – If your passion constantly drains resources with no realistic plan for sustainability, it may be time for reassessment. 2. Mental or Physical Health Decline – A true passion should energize and uplift, not lead to burnout, chronic stress, or emotional exhaustion. 3. Ignoring Basic Responsibilities – If pursuing a dream means neglecting financial stability, relationships, or personal well-being, a more balanced approach might be needed. 4. Lack of Growth or Learning – Dreams should evolve. If you find yourself stuck, repeating the same mistakes with no progress, it's worth asking why. 5. No Market or Real Demand – Some passions bring personal joy but aren't viable as careers. Recognizing this can help you integrate them into your life in a sustainable way. Finding Balance Between Passion and Reality - Passion Thrives with Adaptability – Rather than clinging to a single vision, allow yourself to grow and adjust. Sometimes the dream is right—but the path needs tweaking. - Test the Waters Before Diving In – Small, incremental steps toward your goal can prevent unnecessary financial or emotional strain. - Success Isn't Always About Money or Fame – Some dreams are about fulfillment, but even those require sustainability. - Embrace “Adulting” – Growth comes with responsibility. Managing finances, relationships, and obligations doesn't kill passion—it supports it. - Learn from Those Who've Been There – Seek mentors and real-world examples from those who have pursued similar paths. Their insights could help you navigate blind spots. Beware of Social Media Illusions In today's world, it's easy to be influenced by people with large followings who seem to be living their dream. But numbers don't equal wisdom. Just because someone has an audience doesn't mean they have common sense—or that their advice is right for you. You can't base life decisions on a video from someone you don't truly know. Social media thrives on engagement, not truth. Many influencers sell a lifestyle that may be unsustainable, unrealistic, or outright misleading. Your dreams deserve thoughtful planning—not impulsive influence. Dreams don't need to disappear—but they do need to evolve. Recognizing when to pivot isn't failure—it's wisdom. The key is knowing when to push forward, when to adjust, and when to let go in order to build something better.

You've checked every box—career, family, responsibilities—and yet, food still has power over you. Why is it that even the most successful, driven women feel stuck in cycles of emotional eating, body frustration, and self-doubt? If success were the answer, wouldn't you feel free by now? Instead, you're spinning on the diet hamster wheel, trying everything “right” but still feeling wrong in your body. The mental noise around food, weight, and willpower never stops. You may even be wondering if something is broken inside you—but it's not. In this episode, Leslie explores the deeper roots of food struggles—and why permanent transformation starts with self-awareness, emotional mastery, and living in alignment with your truth. She offers a proven path to lasting food freedom that doesn't rely on restriction, but on safety, self-trust, and support. So we teach you how to feel free and how to actually feel your emotions. And the way you feel free is to actually learn how to feel your emotions and not just crying and blabbering and being like a victim to actually go all the way to the source of what is underneath that emotion. Once you see it, once you get the tools to transform it, quick five minutes or so, boom, back to wholeness. Not binge eating anymore. Helen Hanison was a high-flying PR executive with a passport full of stamps, million-dollar campaigns, and a board-level title. But after 20 years in the industry, she found herself questioning everything. Motherhood collided with her career, success lost its sparkle, and the feeling of being “stuck-but-still-good-at-it” became suffocating. In Part One of this two-part conversation, Helen shares the moment she realized her success was seducing her into staying in the wrong life. She opens up about the subtle signs of misalignment, the “lost years” between knowing something's wrong and doing something about it, and how her pivot into psychology laid the groundwork for a new career—one that finally fits. If you've ever felt competent but not alive in your work, this one's your mirror.Key Highlights of Our Interview:When High Achievement Turns into Quiet Misery“I was flying everywhere, leading campaigns—and I still felt hollow.”Helen unpacks the disconnect between outer success and inner dissatisfaction, especially when you're too good at a job that no longer excites you.The Motherhood Collision“I hadn't seen it coming, but it hit hard.”Becoming a mother didn't just change her home life—it cracked open the illusion that her career and identity were truly aligned.Good At It, But Dead Inside“I wasn't unhappy… just not lit up.”Helen describes the in-between phase where nothing is obviously wrong, but everything feels subtly off—a quiet crisis that many professionals ignore for too long. The Clues Were Always There“I was coaching before I knew what coaching was.”Helen reflects on how her leadership style—taking colleagues out for coffee, asking them what they wanted—was already pointing toward her next calling.Seduced by Success, Trapped by Titles“It's a long way down when the ladder's leaned against the wrong wall.”She reveals why people get stuck in senior roles they don't love, and how fear of the unknown keeps them climbing in the wrong direction.________________________Connect with us:Host: Vince Chan | Guest: Helen HanisonHelen's website: https://www.helenhanison.com --Chief Change Officer--Change Ambitiously. Christian business leaders need to measure beyond traditional key performance indicators by adopting Kingdom Performance Indicators (KPIs) that track eternal impact. These new metrics reveal why we're doing business and who we're truly impacting beyond immediate stakeholders.• Traditional KPIs measure financial and operational performance but fall short of measuring kingdom impact• The shopping cart story illustrates how small acts of stewardship reflect our approach to business and leadership• Kingdom Performance Indicators might include charitable impact, volunteer hours, or testimonials from affected lives• Define your "why" with eternal significance—understand your purpose beyond providing products or generating profit• Implement the 3H framework: Heart (demonstrating love), Home (cultivating culture), Hands (using resources to serve)• Intentionally measure kingdom impact with SMART goals and regular assessment• True success transcends the bottom line and creates a legacy of positive impactGo and grow champions. Thanks for listening in to the Uncommon Leader Podcast. Today, I interview Dr. Julie Lopez, who spent much of her life perfecting a performative voice to fit in and avoid rejection. Adopted as an infant and raised without biological connections, she unconsciously shaped her identity around external approval. She excelled in academics, leadership, and later, a high-powered consulting career, yet deep inside, she felt disconnected from her true self.Despite outward success, whispers of dissatisfaction grew louder. A pivotal trip to Spain, combined with years of introspection, made her realize she had been living by survival-driven patterns rather than authentic choices. She left her prestigious career behind and pursued psychology, focusing on implicit memory—the hidden codes that shape behavior, fears, and confidence. Now, Julie helps high achievers uncover and rewire these unconscious patterns through her work and book, Live Empowered. Her journey is a powerful reminder that true confidence isn't just about speaking well—it's about speaking from a place of deep authenticity.__________________Dr Julie Lopez delights in guiding high achievers, executives and CEOs through the “unconscious advantage” so they can move aside hidden roadblocks to health, wealth and personal alignment. Feeling like success should feel better than this? After exiting her billion-dollar business, Suneera Madhani faced something unexpected — emptiness. Despite achieving her biggest goals, she realized what was missing: a circle of like-minded women who truly understood her journey. In this episode, Suneera shares how finding her "business besties" transformed her life, reignited her passion, and inspired her to create the Millionaire Founders Club — a powerful sisterhood of ambitious women dedicated to supporting each other in both business and life. “High achievers don't wait for success. They create it.” Is success something that happens to you, or something you make happen? Corinne Morahan kicks off a four-part series designed to help you step into your highest potential without waiting for the perfect moment, permission, or a step-by-step guide from someone else. This episode breaks down three key shifts that set high achievers apart. First, define your next level vision. What does success actually look like for you? Too many people chase goals that don't align with what they truly want, only to feel unfulfilled when they get there. Next, audit your habits. Are you filling your days with busy work, or are you making strategic moves that drive real progress? Finally, step into CEO energy. The most successful people don't second-guess every decision. They trust themselves, act with certainty, and move forward even when fear is in the mix. Corinne challenges you to take one bold step today: make a decision you've been avoiding, without polling others for advice first. This series is all about momentum, and it starts with you taking the lead.
