I'll take a peek as to where we stand at the point, with an enormous game on Saturday between #7 Tennessee vs. #12 Georgia. (46:50) A few things to get into when it comes to the NBA. When will the Cleveland Cavaliers lose as they're currently 13-0? LeBron James continues his masterful play at almost 40 years of age as he registered his third straight triple double. Spurs young star, Victor Wembanyama recorded his first ever 50 point game vs. Washington. Giannis and the Bucks try to get back on the beam after Giannis scored 59 in a win vs. Detroit last night. The Knicks are flailing after eleven games. A big injury for a key piece on OKC. And I send out a speedy recovery to Gregg Popovich as he recovers from a mild stroke. (57:30) Not much is happening on the ice as the only story of late are the Winnipeg Jets. They beat up on the Rangers Tuesday night to go on to an NHL record 15-1 start. Next up? A trip to Florida to play the Lightning and Panthers over the next three days. Besides that, you don't have much else. (1:00:23) Is anyone interested in the Jake Paul-Mike Tyson Netflix exhibition fight tomorrow night? This will be all on the former heavyweight champion of the world as to how exciting this'll be. He emphasizes the importance of distinguishing between processed and unprocessed seed oils, and highlights the role of parent EFAs in maintaining cell health and reducing inflammation. Peskin also challenges the conventional wisdom on fish oil and LDL cholesterol, and provides insights on the optimal ratio of omega-6 to omega-3 EFAs. He recommends consuming unadulterated, organic oils and introduces his medical food, EZTREC, for anti-inflammatory support. It's about a guy who got fired from Band of Brothers over two decades ago because Tom Hanks said he had “dead eyes”. Connor Ratliff had been up for a small part in episode five, and while it wasn't a major role — at the time, for an up and coming actor, it felt like everything. On my re-listen over the weekend, something Connor and Tom Hanks said leapt out at me, as they reflected on what had happened in an audition room in the late 90s, and the critically acclaimed podcast decades later:Connor: It's been such a gift because we never would have arrived at this place if I had not had my little show business nightmare. It's been a real lesson in terms of even a negative experience sometimes being the thing that is ultimately more rewarding than if I'd just had a lovely time for a day on Band of Brothers.Tom: Well, isn't that the serendipity that you must have faith in.
