Welcome back to the Track Limits Podcast! Tune in with Henny, Niru, Claudia and Mikey as they unpack all the highlights from the recently concluded Mexican Grand Prix. The Mexican Grand Prix, Checo Perez's home race, was set up as his chance to shine, but Red Bull faced early challenges as both drivers struggled with balance and lacked pace during practice. Qualifying saw Checo exit in Q1, while Max Verstappen exceeded expectations with a P2 finish, surprising many who hadn't expected him so high up the grid. Ferrari, coming off a strong 1-2 finish in Austin, aimed to keep their winning streak alive. From practice, they showed impressive race pace, with Carlos Sainz delivering a remarkable qualifying lap that no one could match. Although he lost the lead to Max at the race start, a well-timed move following the safety car allowed Carlos to reclaim the lead from Max, which he held onto until the finish. The rivalry between Max and Lando heated up in this race, with Max's erratic driving nearly causing both drivers to DNF. The incident ultimately resulted in a 20-second penalty for Max, while Lando, delayed by the battle, missed the chance to challenge the Ferraris until the closing laps. With both championships now at stake, every inch and every point counts as both teams rely on their drivers to maximize points. With one race left in the triple-header, including a sprint, there's a lot on the line. “When your mental health becomes impacted by social media then it is time for a detox.” — Germany Kent Are you indulging in social media? How do you feel? Host Keerthi, who loves social media, navigates the negatives and positives of various platforms. She advocates for embracing imperfection and showcasing authenticity as well as digital detoxes. Keerthi also encourages celebrating other's successes, big or small, and showing kindness to strangers. Keerthi then interviews high school junior, Niru Shivakumar about the connection between mental health and social media. Niru is the founder of a nonprofit organization called Offline, which has been one of her main focuses for three years. She works with 5th grade classes across the Bay Area to educate students about the dangers and repercussions of social media as well as the effects it can have on mental health before they reach middle school. She does not use social media. Reporter, Kirpa, joins the conversation to discuss the pros and cons of social media and how it can affect our mental health. Her parents do not allow her to use social media and she understands that is because they care and want to keep her safe and healthy. If you use social media, remember, you are more than your follower count, more than your most liked post, and more than the sum of your social media presence.
Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny and Feven, joined by special guests Niru and Sayem, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Dutch Grand Prix. This race did not disappoint at all! With a bit of help from Mother Nature, we got to see every team get tested for their efficiency and strategic prowess. For Max Verstappen, you can throw any obstacles at him, and he continues to have dominant wins. He tied Sebastian Vettlel's nine wins in a row this week and will be hunting for the record-breaking 10th win next week. What looked like it would be a strong weekend for both McLaren and Mercedes was filled with strategic mistakes, wrong setups, and race incidents. Albon and the Williams team were a massive surprise to many, finishing P4 in qualifying and P8 in the race. Only time will tell on the growth Williams can have under the leadership of James Vowles. We were all disappointed to see Daniel Ricciardo miss out on this race and potentially a few more after his accident in FP2, but Liam Lawson rose to the occasion and performed well for a rookie with limited time on the track. With Monza right around the corner, do we anticipate Max Verstappen breaking the record, or will we see another drive sneak up and steal the win in what's expected to be another rainy with a mix of sunshine race day?Thank you to Wall Wings for sending us a custom Track Limits front wing. Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Henny, Mikey, Swish, and returning guest Niru share their thoughts on the recently concluded Hungary Grand Prix. All eyes were on Hamilton after picking up a stellar pole position. The start of the race saw Hamilton lose a few places and both McLarens pouncing on the opportunity to fight for the podium. Alfa Romeo shocked the audience with both drivers qualifying in Q3 but with Zhou stalling at the start; his race was over from Lap 1. And the misery continues with Alpine as Zhou caused an accident that saw both drivers DNF after the first lap.Are we really surprised that Daniel Ricciardo outperformed Yuki in his first race back after six months off? Only time will tell if he can continue to outpace his teammate or if Yuki steps up his performance. Off the race track, there has been a lot of talk about cost cap infringements and future regulation changes swirling the paddock as the summer break will bring on reports and updates from the FIA. With Belgium just a few days away, will we see the straight-line speed of Williams and Alpine dominate, or will McLaren surprise everyone again with further upgrades and improvements?Make sure to subscribe, review and follow us on our socials:https://www.instagram.com/tracklimits/https://youtube.com/@tracklimitspodhttps://twitter.com/tracklimits_pod/https://www.tiktok.com/@tracklimitspodJoin our mailing list to learn more about Track Limits:https://www.tracklimitspod.com/
Welcome to the latest episode of Track Limits Podcast, where Swish, Henny, and Mikey, joined by guest host Niru, share their thoughts on the recently concluded Spanish Grand Prix. Red Bull shows no sign of stopping, and this grand prix showed that this rocketship is not getting any slower. Mercedes showed up and finished with double podiums. The B-spec car shows signs that Mercedes might be on the right track to building a car worthy of competing with Red Bull. What looked like an excellent start for McLaren finished with both drivers outside the points. Montreal Grand Prix is coming up, and the Track Limits team will be there all weekend.

Today we're joined by Niru Ragupathy. Niru is a Security Engineer at Google. She works as the Offensive Security Lead and manages part of the Offensive Security Team. She is currently the Tech Lead Manager. Niru sees managing as a challenging, interesting ride yet undervalued skill. She also considers it rewarding although it demands the investment of both time and effort. She believes that it is important to start leading and take things slowly but not take the decision lightly. Having planned on taking Biotech in College but being persuaded by her parents, she was thrust to take on Computer Sciences since it has greater demands in society. In the face of her struggles, Niru has found her sense of belongingness in security management. This episode will surely encourage and benefit Engineers who struggle in transitioning on management. On another socially-distanced remote edition of Desiland, Niru explores how India has managed the COVID-19 pandemic and why data suggested the crisis began on a positive note. As India closes in on half a million cases, what changed? Our guests: From Toronto, Dr. Prabhat Jha is a renowned epidemiologist who explains how the crisis has been managed in India, and from Mumbai, Arnob Bal, a music producer and Mispronunciation Nation podcaster, who describes life under lockdown. Donate to the #HumHaarNahiMaanenge campaign here.
Niru offers a unique perspective on the COVID-19 pandemic from Gurpreet Gill, a Colorado woman whose controversial poem on the crisis, "What if...", recently went viral on Facebook. Gill, who describes herself an intuitive healer and guide, spoke to Niru via Zoom video conference in a conversation the Desiland host describes as a "soothing balm". Niru pays tribute to a provocative post-9/11-themed comedy tour called We Ain't Terrorists that recently ended a decade-long run touring Canada. She chats with comedians Ali Hassan and Dave Merheje about Desis and brown-skinned people of all backgrounds being victims of "inaccurate" and tragically funny racism. Special thanks to Toronto's spectacular Aga Khan Museum and Theatre for hosting this conversation. Coming up on Desiland: Indian Fine Dining with Vikram Vij and we conclude our Currying Votes series with The Case for Khalistan. His book is called "How to Network Anytime, Anywhere, with Anyone". We're taking a pause on our series on Khalistan, Currying Votes, and will return to the subject this fall. Next time on Desiland: Chef Vikram Vij!
