Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX: CPM) managing director Ian Warland sits down with Jonathan Jackson in the Proactive studio to discuss results from additional geochemical sampling at the Gooroo Project in Western Australia. The project targets orogenic gold and copper-gold mineralisation in the Gullewa Greenstone Belt, known for significant gold deposits like the Deflector mine. Recent sampling in May 2024 revealed enhanced gold anomalies, with notable results including a rock chip sample from the new Foxglove anomaly assaying up to 48.3 g/t. Soil sampling identified six gold soil anomalies in key structural trap sites, such as the Gullewa syncline and regional faults, crucial for gold deposit formation. The Foxglove anomaly showed a maximum soil gold value of 118ppb, while other areas like Smokebush and Darwinia also displayed higher gold values with maximums of 16.2ppb and 42.8ppb, respectively. Cooper Metals plans further infill sampling to better define these anomalies and determine mineralisation controls ahead of drill testing, pending regulatory approvals. Warland expressed optimism about the results, highlighting the significant findings at Foxglove and the company's efforts to advance the project. #ProactiveInvestors #CooperMetals #ASX #GoorooProject, #GoldExploration, #GeochemicalSampling, #WesternAustralia, #MiningUpdates, #GoldAnomalies, #FoxgloveAnomaly, #SoilSampling, #RockChipSamples, #GoldDeposits, #YilgarnCraton, #GullewaGreenstoneBelt, #DeflectorMine, #Mineralisation, #ExplorationResults, #IanWarland, #MiningNews, #AuCuExploration, #RegulatoryApprovals #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) managing director Ian Warland joins Proactive to discuss the latest assays from regional reverse circulation (RC) drilling across four copper-gold prospects at its Mt Isa East copper-gold project in Queensland. The results cover all 12 holes drilled in April at the Mafic Sweats South, Mafic Sweats North, Raven and Yarraman prospects. At the latter prospect, about 79 metres of low-grade copper-gold mineralisation point to a fertile faulted contact zone which warrants further exploration. Meanwhile, over at Mafic Sweats South, shallow copper-gold mineralisation has extended to a strike length of around 285 metres and a depth of 200 metres. Drilling intersected disseminated copper sulphides beneath an extensive copper oxide zone. What's more, the company reported all three drill holes at Mafic Sweats South ended in anomalous copper, suggesting a large shallow copper-gold system open along strike and down dip, centred around a regional faulted contact between the Argylla and Magna Lynn Formations. Work also continues at Cooper's Gooroo copper-gold project, just a stone's throw from Silver Lakes Deflector mine in WA. Warland says fieldwork continues across the precious and base metal property and encourages investors to continue watching this space. #ProactiveInvestors #CooperMetals #ASX #CPM #MtIsaEastProject #QueenslandMining #MaficSweatsSouth #YarramanProspect #RCDrilling #MineralAssayResults #CopperSulfides #GoldMineralisation #ExplorationDrilling #Geochemistry #JaniceFault #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) managing director Ian Warland is back in the Proactive studio to recap drilling activities and the explorer's latest quarterly report. Cooper has just completed its third drilling campaign of the year, targeting copper-gold mineralisation across four regional targets at its Mt Isa East project in northwest Queensland. The prospects in question — Raven, Mafic Sweats North, Mafic Sweats South and Yarraman — were together the focus of 12 reverse circulation holes and around 1,800 metres of drilling. Following the campaign, more than 500 one-metre samples were dispatched for analysis to a laboratory in Mt Isa, primarily from the prominent Mafic Sweats South prospect. While a busy exploration season has hampered lab turnaround times, Warland is excited to bring fresh results to the market in the current quarter. Recapping the last three months of activity, the MD highlighted regional drilling endeavours and sampling efforts across the project portfolio. He also called out the Brumby Ridge and Guru targets, where the explorer hopes to be on the ground again in short order. Looking ahead, Warland noted that the company is well funded to keep the momentum going, with A$4.4 million in the bank thanks to a recent capital raise. The company looks forward to delivering more assays, completing regional geochem and mapping programs and building on its portfolio of drilling targets before the end of the financial year. #ProactiveInvestors #CooperMetals #ASX #MtIsaEastProject #CopperGoldProspecting #ReverseCirculationDrilling #MiningExploration #QueenslandMining #MineralExploration #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews

Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) managing director Ian Warland tells Proactive's Jonathan Jackson that the company is making substantial progress at its Brumby Ridge Project in northwest Queensland, having recently completed a significant drilling campaign. The campaign comprised four diamond drill holes spanning 1,054 metres and five reverse circulation (RC) drill holes covering 1,044 metres. With around 500 samples under analysis at a laboratory in Mount Isa, expectations are high for the late April results. The drilling has yielded positive preliminary findings, notably from three scissor holes which followed up on a previous drill hole that encountered 71 metres at 2.8% copper. One such hole, 24MERC003, revealed over 60 metres of visual disseminated sulphides and intersected a mineralised fault breccia zone, suggesting a complex geological structure at play. Warland expressed optimism about the project's potential, noting the extensive disseminated sulphides and the mineralised fault breccia zone's significance. Despite current weather-related pauses in drilling, plans are set to resume shortly, with a comprehensive RC drilling program targeting multiple prospects. Cooper Metals is poised for a busy period of exploration and development, aiming to further uncover the extent and grade of the mineralisation at Brumby Ridge and surrounding prospects. With the assays pending and further drilling on the horizon, the company is at a pivotal point in assessing the full potential of this promising project. #ProactiveInvestors #CooperMetals #ASX #Copper #MtIsa #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) managing director Ian Warland sits down with Proactive to share initial outcomes from diamond drilling at the Brumby Ridge prospect within its extensive Mt Isa East Project, signalling an essential phase in evaluating the site's copper potential. Warland also details the late 2023, reverse circulation drilling program at Brumby Ridge, which revealed significant lengths of copper mineralisation, with results up to 71 metres at 2.8% copper. These results, while impressive, necessitated further investigation to fully grasp the extent and grade potential of the site. Looking forward, Cooper Metals plans to drill more diamond holes and switch to targeted RC holes, to resolve questions surrounding the size and grade potential at Brumby Ridge. The Mt Isa East Project, encompassing about 1,600 square kilometres and around 50 targets, is poised for further exploration throughout 2024. With a robust team of geologists and significant funding in place, Cooper Metals is well-equipped to advance its exploration efforts across the region. #ProactiveInvestors #CooperMetals #ASX #Copper #MtIsa #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
Cooper Metals Ltd (ASX:CPM) CEO Ian Warland joins Proactive's Jonathan Jackson to discuss how a pole-dipole (PDP) induced polarisation (IP) survey has confirmed the strong depth potential of the chargeability anomaly at its Brumby Ridge Prospect within the Mt Isa East Copper-Gold Project. Warland talks through the IP survey, what the upcoming drilling program at Brumby Ridge will look like and the recent, very well supported, $3.5 million capital raise that fully funds the drilling. Finally, Warland gives us an overview of the work to come across Mt Isa. #ProactiveInvestors #CooperMetals #ASX #CopperGold #MtIsaEastProject #MtIsa #invest #investing #investment #investor #stockmarket #stocks #stock #stockmarketnews
