The Smoothie King Center's primary tenants, the NBA's New Orleans Pelicans, announced Monday that the arena had "minor exterior damage" from Ida...and “will be prepared to host games for the upcoming season without issue”. The Pelicans' only home preseason game is scheduled for October 6th. Tonight's NXT has Johnny Gargano vs. LA Knight...Tommaso Ciampa vs. Ridge Holland...Kyle O'Reilly vs. Duke Hudson...and Roderick Strong vs. Ikemen Jiro. On last night's Raw… Nia Jax pinned the Raw Women's Champion Charlotte Flair...in a match that frankly got a little ugly at one point. Earlier in the show, Jax laid out Rhea Ripley...after Ripley had beaten Shayna Baszler. The United States Champion Damian Priest held an open challenge...which led to a 3-Way against Sheamus and Drew McIntyre. Priest prevailed...pinning McIntyre with The Reckoning. The Raw Tag Team Champs Randy Orton & Riddle beat WWE Champ Bobby Lashley & MVP to retain their titles. Riddle pinned MVP with the Floating Bro. After the match, Lashley speared Riddle, but Orton retaliated with an RKO. Also last night, Omos pinned John Morrison. AJ Styles submitted Xavier Woods with the Calf Crusher. The Viking Raiders beat Jinder Mahal & Veer. Mahal took the pin. Plus, Karrion Kross submitted Humberto Carrillo with the Kross Jacket. He and Sammy Guevara beat Chaos Project. Guevara pinned Luther with the GTH. Also, Nyla Rose & Diamante beat Big Swole & Julia Hart. Rose pinned Hart with the Beast Bomb. Hikaru Shida, Emi Sakura and Jade Cargill are now added to the Women's Casino Battle Royale at All Out. (STINGER: New Japan) New Japan Strong is switching nights. The episodes currently debut every Friday night at 10PM Eastern. BUT starting September 18th, the episodes will drop on Saturday nights at 8PM Eastern. That led to a big brawl...where Ridge Holland attacked O'Reilly and Tommaso Ciampa attacked Dunne. Earlier, Holland pinned Timothy Thatcher with a powerslam. A post-match melee saw the return of Danny Burch...as he helped Holland, Dunne and Oney Lorcan lay waste to Thatcher and Ciampa. As for O'Reilly...his troubles did not end with Holland. O'Reilly later got into a backstage brawl with Duke Hudson. Carmelo Hayes used a crucifix pin to beat Odyssey Jones and win the NXT Breakout Tournament. Hayes now gets a shot at the title of his choice. Legado Del Fantasma has a new member. Elektra Lopez helped the group defeat Hit Row in last night's main event. Kayden Carter & Kacy Catanzaro beat Gigi Dolin & Jacy Jayne. The losers were later approached backstage by Mandy Rose. Kay Lee Ray pinned Valentina Feroz with a Gory Bomb. Franky Monet challenged NXT Women's Champion Raquel Gonzalez to a title match. Ted DiBiase formally presented Cameron Grimes with the Million Dollar Championship, but WAIT A SECOND - it was a replica! And DiBiase sped away in his limo with the real thing. Indi Hartwell and Dexter Lumis announced their wedding date is set for the September 14th episode of NXT. WWE's pay per view in Atlanta on New Year's Day will be called “WWE Day 1”. (STINGER: ROH) Ring Of Honor's Pure Champion Jonathan Gresham is recovering from a fractured cheekbone and eye socket. ROH said he suffered the injury during last Saturday's Glory By Honor show. ROH also revealed that Rush suffered a knee injury on that same show...but the exact nature of the injury is not known. And ROH says Flip Gordon was “experiencing memory loss” after the show. WALTER's 870-day reign as the NXT UK Champion is over. WALTER tapped out to Ilja Dragunov's sleeper hold last night. Plus, Cameron Grimes pinned LA Knight with the Cave In to win the Million Dollar Championship. Raquel Gonzalez held onto her NXT Women's Championship by beating Dakota Kai. After the match, former NXT UK Women's Champ Kay Lee Ray arrived in NXT to stare at Gonzalez. Also last night, Kyle O'Reilly beat Adam Cole in their Three Stages Of Hell Match. O'Reilly won the final fall inside a steel cage. He caught Cole in a heel hook and forced him to tap out...despite O'Reilly being handcuffed to the ropes. PWInsider is reporting that was Cole's last appearance in NXT. WWE President Nick Khan confirmed that a “complete revamp” of NXT is coming. In an interview with Ariel Helwani for BT Sport, Nick Khan added that Triple H will lead that effort. Nick Khan also talked about a change in how WWE recruits and develops new talent. The other new champs on Raw coming out of SummerSlam: Damian Priest, who took the United States Title from Sheamus...and Team R-K-Bro, who took the Raw Tag Titles from AJ Styles & Omos. SummerSlam saw the end of Bianca Belair's reign as SmackDown Women's Champion. She was pinned by Becky Lynch in less than 30 seconds. The other big return Saturday night - Brock Lesnar. He made a surprise appearance right after the main event, where Roman Reigns pinned John Cena to retain the Universal Championship.
