Actor Russell Todd sat down for a one-on-one interview in The Locher Room to look back at his career as an actor, model, and agent.Russell is well known for playing the role of “Dr. Jamie Frame” for three years on the NBC soap opera, Another World. He also had roles on The Bold and the Beautiful, Capitol and The Young and the Restless.Russell also starred in the films Friday the 13th-Part 2 and the remake Where the Boys Are ‘84 as Scott Nash, a role originally played by actor Jim Hutton. Emilia is a British actress, filmmaker and model, coming to the creative field fresh from her biomedical degree. Emilia tells me about her school years where she struggled as her teachers didn't value creativity or see the arts as a viable career path, so Emilia tried to push back but felt forced into studying science. However, at university she found her creative outlet by joining many different societies. Since she graduated, she moved to Toronto and has worked several acting jobs, including a very exciting experience on the set of Doctor Who with Peter Capaldi! We dive into the overlap between the arts and the sciences, which are way more related than people tend to think. After a short Christmas break, Anxious Ambition is back, as Justin sits down with Josh Pertler, actor, model, and musician. Justin and Josh go all the way back to their freshman year of high school. He began modeling and acting at a very young age, and with the help of his mom, he broke into the business around the age of 11. After high school, he made his way out to Los Angeles to pursue his dream. He began experiencing anxiety as he began waiting to hear about parts and modeling jobs. He began struggling with drugs and alcohol as a way to cope with feelings of loneliness and hopelessness. After going back and forth between Illinois and Los Angeles, he finally got a handle on his addiction and is still pursuing acting and working on his music!
