Mountain climbing was an unusual pastime in the 1920s. It was particularly unusual among women. But Agnes Vaille made a name for herself as a tough, formidable climber. Soon, she found herself setting records. In 1925, she and fellow climber Walter Kiener decided to make history as the first people to climb Longs Peak's east face in the wintertime. Their friends warned them against the dangerous climb. But Walter and Agnes couldn't be dissuaded.Remember, kids, history hoes always cite their sources! In this episode, we examine the suspicious 2017 death of 19-year-old Tanner Ward in Trenton, Missouri after he vanished and was later found high in a tree just blocks from home. His past, probation, and drug history shaped how people saw the case, but his family never accepted the official ruling and kept pushing for answers. As more details surfaced, the case only became harder to explain. With conflicting theories, community outrage, and questions that still do not sit right, it became a fight over whether the truth was ever fully uncovered.

A routine morning in the Michigan woods turns into a life-altering event when veteran hunter Greg Shull experiences a catastrophic climber tree stand failure during the 2009 deer season. In this episode we examine Greg's story and use it as a powerful lens to explore the realities of hunting from elevation- where preparation, equipment, and split-second circumstances can mean the difference between a close call and tragedy. This is not just a story about a fall, it's a conversation about responsibility, awareness and why tree-stand safety matters to every hunter who leaves the ground. Whether you're a seasoned hunter or new to elevated stands, this episode offers critical insight that could save a life. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In this message, we explore how the gospel creates a new family in Christ. Paul reminds us in Ephesians 2:11–22 that through Jesus, the dividing walls of hostility are torn down, and people from every background are brought near by His blood. No longer strangers and outsiders, we are now fellow citizens and members of God's household.

It was a long week when our fearless leader EstoBro came down with a cold, and it was even worse that it happened over his birthday (2:00), which he does not necessarily wish anyone experiences at all. His co-host TV had all the sympathy for him, but their shared birthday celebration could only mean one thing: that summer is here and the Gents are ready to party! One thing EstoBro was fortunate to enjoy for his birthday celebrations was the release of the Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (9:00), the latest installment of the popular Nintendo RPG series. The celebrated sequel of Breath of the Wild has taken the video game world by storm and has already sealed itself as an automatic phenomenon in the mystical adventure. After acknowledging the hectic weekend of the Electric Daisy Carnival, the Gents are only weeks away from EstoBro's bachelor party with going to Bonnaroo (28:30), and they can barely contain their excitement. The Gents were also shocked to see that Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 was upset by Fast X (37:00), the recent release of the Fast and Furious franchise; and it is safe to assume that they're not finished with that franchise anytime soon. With the small focus turned to sports, TV is hyped to celebrate that the Miami Heat are very close to returning to the NBA Finals (44:30), and gives the tip of the hat to Michael Block being an amateur at the PGA Championship that hit a hole-in-one. Finally, EstoBro wants to celebrate this year's issue of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition which features Martha Stewart on the cover (60:00). Who knew that America's favorite homemaker would turn into America's favorite GILF? Be sure to have a safe Memorial Day weekend and for all of our Florida listeners, start preparing your hurricane season safety plans because that follows right after the holiday.
