Elle est ensuite devenue présidente du Comité Paralympique et Sportif Français avant de changer de carrière et d'être désormais responsable Management du projet Paris 2024 chez EDF.Alors qu'Emmanuelle était prédestinée à devenir Clerc de notaire, un accident de vie l'a rendue paraplégique. Elle s'est alors demandé comment : Se réapproprier son corps ? Ne pas avoir peur de relever de nouveaux défis ? Se réorienter professionnellement ?
