Erin tells us about her race where her whole team dropped out. Mike and Sam took a little road trip and had to fill their own gas. A new Powerball winner is blowing through his money. The NFL custom paints their fields. Nice couple wins sideline passes for a football game. What's going on with the Vegas Sphere? Why is Ikea making pink and black hotdogs? A wanted man comments on police departments Facebook page. A restaurant makes a menu with business product names. An artist creates child-like construction paper canvas art. A run store lets you steal if you can beat the security in a race. How many times a day do you have to move to stay healthy? There is a daycare for both the elderly and children. If anyone is reading this I'm writing this in bed at midnight on nyc marathon weekend idk if this even makes sense.

I read from Druze to dry-erase board. The Druze faith takes elements from many other faiths/religions. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Druze The dry cleaning process is not dry, but it does not include any water because certain synthetic materials don't react well to water. We solved the mystery! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dry_cleaning The word of the episode is "dry-erase board". Welcome back to the ADHD gravy train! This week, Garet & Katie recorded on a morning when they were both extremely exhausted somehow but they still take you down the rabbit hole that is HYPERFIXATIONS! A rarely studied, often just anecdotally reported, ADHD symptom that is sometimes also called "hyperfocus." Don't be fooled, though! Hyperfixation and hyperfocus are actually two different things, and either way, we manage to squeak out some tips to snap out of it so you remember to eat and drink water throughout the day, and also how to maybe set yourself up to get INTO your hyper-whatever state when you need it! What is your current hyperfixation meal? Because we have them and can you tell it's lunchtime? We want to hear what you're obsessed with eating right now! You're not always aware of the passage of time, you're never sure about what you want to do or when. Building a flexible time management system can actually help give you more time to reach your goals and do the things you love. For many of us, the issue of time management is a non-starter, because we have a poor sense of time in the first place. If you do not have a good concept of time. How can you possibly even begin to manage it? There's basically two parts to this. You work to develop at least a little bit of a sense of time and at the same time you go forward with what you have, allowing technology to help you keep track of time when it eludes you. What can we do about it? 1. Start small, and start foundational. Use habit stacking. 2. Use tools to outsource your time sense 3. Use timers to keep track of the passage of time 4. Try thinking about your time over a week, instead of a day. 5. These systems are not fixed About the Ex-Gifted Podcast: If you are a former gifted kid who grew up to struggle with basic adulting, then you need the Ex-Gifted podcast. Host Ren Eliza talks about gifted kid burnout, and the damage that lasts long into adulthood. Damage like battered self esteem, decimated internal motivation, and a continued failure to live up to expectations even while we were placed on pedestals and alienated from our peers. Ex-Gifted will cover failure, procrastination, imposter syndrome, and chronic anxiety and depression, and a whole lot more. Each episode also offers suggestions to deal with your executive dysfunction in adulthood so you can rebuild the systems that allowed you to shine so brightly in childhood. We're making exceptional children into functional adults. Thanks! Join me again in two weeks for the next Ex-Gifted. https://ko-fi.com/reneliza (Support the show) (https://ko-fi.com/reneliza)

George Gee discusses his book, Flutters from Side Street: Dry Erase Drawings, Social Discourse and Political Ramblings and shares his thoughts about life. ( Note, the presentation is also posted in iTunes.) In 1992, George Gee and his wife Deborah Seaton opened Side Street Espresso, on G St. in downtown Anchorage. Soon the daily white boards for the cafe mirrored the intensity of contemporary American culture with social and political caricatures and commentary. Whereas George would erase each board at the end of the day, starting in 1997, he began to preserve the artwork, which resulted in the book, Flutters from Side Street: Volume One, Dry Erase Drawings, Social and Political Commentary, and Reflections From A Morning Walk To Work. The book is an amazing collection of dry erase drawings that highlight pieces of Anchorage and American history.

Guest Tech Segment: Charlie Eriksen on Wordpress plugin security In this technical segment, we will look at Charlie Eriksens research into Wordpress plugin security. By searching large amounts of code for code that is often insecurely written, it is possible to find a large amount of vulnerabilities in plugins running on thousands of Wordpress sites across the internet. Stories How Your #Naked Pictures Ended Up on the Internet The Security-Conscious Uncle - Yea, I'm talking about ATM card security. After reading this, and hearing my thoughts and views on Debit cards, I want to keep my money in my own safe. Banks make it so hard to keep your money secure. I don't want a Debit card, its a ridiculous concept that only benefits the bank. I want more than a 4-digit pin number too. My best advice is to only tie your ATM card to an account with a small amount of cash to limit damages, if your bank even allows you to do that. No homecoming queen vote if you don't wear RFID tag? - I'm sorry, I don't want to wear an RFID tag. Tracking students has gotten way out of control. I proved how you can clone RFID tags in a MA CCDC compition. So, students, if you want a lesson on how to become any one of your classmates, please come find me. Hacker wins $60 - Don't get me wrong, I think this is a good thing. The more we encourage legit folks to find vulnerabilities, the better. Firefox 16 pulled offline following security flaw find - Firefox is becoming the new IE! Mobile Brings a New Dimension to the Enterprise Risk Equation - I think I've solved the BYOD problem, just buy all employees brand new iPhone 5s, manage them with an MDM (like Apple Profile Manager) and everyone is happy. I think this comes down to giving the people what they want. Reporting Mistakes - I agree that we need to be forthcoming about where security has failed. I don't get First, talking about the exact way to exploit an 0day makes it easier for more people to exploit it. Learning of a 0Day exploit, and the details, gives us a fighting chance to defend ourselves. I think there has to be some quiet time if you want to involved the vendor, then you gotta tell people. It also depends on the nature of the 0day, maybe the vendor won't listen, or maybe its 0Day in the DNS protocol. James Bond's Dry Erase Marker: The Hotel PenTest Pen - SpiderLabs Anterior - This is just way too super cool, best usage of Arduino and Dry Erase marker EVER (maybe the only usage of the two together). HP Communities - CISO Concerns - Security vs. Usability - CISOs love to bat around terms like security, usability, compliance, affordability, ROI, etc... These are fine, in the right context, but lets not forget, you have the word security in your title, and at some level you have to prevent people from getting pwned. Sometimes I think we lose site of that.
It's episode 5 and Bob got his Mom to do an intro for the show. Topics discussed are Gerald's new dry erase board for improving the show, Bob pleasuring himself to Soul Train and Club MTV, the Super Bowl, The Expendables 2, a challenge to Chuck Norris, one of Bob's favorite movies as a kid The Sword & The Sorcerer, a trip to a San Angelo Pizza Hut with Chase Durousseau, and other poop.
Another thing you didn't know you needed! This is an example of the rare spot that mentions the brand/product immediately. As Heather points out, "That's because everybody loves Crayola." Most spots take a little longer to draw us in. As you watch TV, pay attention to when in the commercial the brand/product is first mentioned. Very few will drop that name immediately. (Even Apple spots don't show you the Apple logo til the end. Of course, with Apple you usually know you're watching an Apple product spot before you see the logo. But that, too, is designed to make the listener/viewer feel smart, like they're in on the secret.) Meanwhile, in the Crayola aisle: VO: At last, Crayola dry-erase crayons combine all that kids love about dry-erase, with all they love about crayons. Crayola dry-erase crayons are washable, smudge-proof, won't dry out, and wipe away like magic. Now ideas transform, right before their eyes. Idea, after idea, after idea. For back to school, find Crayola dry-erase crayons and sets in the Crayola aisle.

So another shows goes "stuff". Here's the deal, right off the bat Adam needs to have the dry erase board and draws a childs version of a set of boobs. This shows intent was to go over our own personal addictions however, as most shows go, we get side tracked. More talk of Tristan being gay, again. Mostly we talk about Adam going to the Dave Mathews concert and Tristan's last few weeks in the autocross season. So enjoy the usual hodgepodge of crap that this episode has become.
