Most partners don't fall out of love— they fall out of care.In this powerful episode, marriage coach Kameran Thompson Alareqi breaks down why “care” is more than acts of service, more than love languages, and more than doing the dishes. It's about being noticed, being considered, and being held in mind.Too many couples secretly believe:“My partner doesn't care about me.”And the truth is…it's rarely intentional neglect. It's almost always a lack of awareness, emotional attunement, and early conditioning that taught people to be “I-focused” instead of “we-focused.”In this episode, you'll learn how to rebuild a culture of care inside your home—one grounded in emotional connection, presence, and shared responsibility.
In this episode, Charles and Dan take a closer look at Stephen Bartlett's conversation with Dr. Julie Smith on The Diary of a CEO — exploring what it really means to manage anxiety, build confidence, and grow through self-compassion instead of self-criticism.They talk about why it's so much easier to look “not needy” than to actually have your needs met, how rejection ties back to our deepest beliefs about worthiness, and why believable affirmations matter more than positive ones. You'll also hear reflections on the difference between self-esteem and self-compassion, the myth of instant transformation, and how aligning your daily life with your core values makes sustainable growth possible.During the conversation, Charles mentions a helpful free tool for exploring your own core values: personalvalu.es — a simple A/B-style assessment that helps clarify which values drive your decisions and how to realign your habits to match them.If you haven't seen it yet, the full Diary of a CEO episode with Dr. Julie Smith is available here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XgemIt_ESxoFor more from Dr. Julie Smith, visit: https://www.drjuliesmith.comListen, watch, and explore more Mindfully Masculine episodes at MindfullyMasculine.com.Support the show

How do you build a culture where innovation thrives instead of being feared? Recorded live at Autodesk University in Nashville, this conversation with Cliff Cole, Director of Virtual Design and Construction at The PENTA Building Group, dives into what it really takes to embed innovation into the DNA of a construction company. Cliff shares how storytelling, timing, and empathy create trust and drive adoption—turning change management into a shared mission instead of a mandate. You'll learn: Why every construction team is already innovating (even if they don't call it that) How to build a culture that celebrates creativity and problem-solving The art of storytelling to communicate innovation effectively How timing and trust make or break new technology adoption Ways to overcome generational and cultural barriers to change MEET OUR GUEST Cliff Cole is the Director of Virtual Design and Construction at The PENTA Building Group, a Las Vegas–based general contractor known for projects across healthcare, education, gaming, and tribal sectors. With over two decades in the industry, Cliff has built a reputation for fostering innovation through empathy, collaboration, and storytelling. He's a passionate advocate for redefining construction's culture—helping teams see that every challenge is an opportunity to innovate, communicate, and grow. TODD TAKES Innovation Starts with Culture Innovation in construction isn't just about adopting new tools—it's about creating a culture where people feel empowered to solve problems creatively. Every project brings unknowns, and teams already innovate daily to adapt and deliver. Recognizing that mindset helps shift the narrative: construction is, at its core, an innovative industry. Storytelling Unlocks Buy-In Problem-solving alone isn't enough—innovation needs to be communicated. Too often, teams do the hard work but don't showcase how it's transforming outcomes. Building the muscle of storytelling, meeting people where they are, and delivering the right message at the right time is what turns technical solutions into cultural movements. Timing and Trust Matter in Change Rolling out new technology or processes requires more than good ideas—it requires timing, trust, and empathy. People resist change not because they can't use technology, but because they need to see the value in their own context. Walking in their shoes, asking the right questions, and introducing solutions at the right moment makes adoption stick. More Resources Thanks for listening! What is the symbolic meaning of the seven-sealed scroll in the book of Revelation? Dr. Kurschner first described three common interpretations. Then he explicated his new view, which is the most plausible, called a certificate of debenture (i.e. debt). The nature of the first four seals, fifth seal, and the sixth seal support this interpretation, which also gives additional support for the prewrath position in the book of Revelation. The seals on the scroll are not God's wrath. Rather, the seals symbolize the accumulating debt of judgment that the wicked deserve and eventually will have to pay up when the scroll is opened, unleashing the trumpet and bowl judgments of the day of the Lord's wrath. In the world of investing, we've all heard the phrase, “Don't put all your eggs in one basket.” It's solid advice that emphasizes the importance of diversifying your investments. Unfortunately, some people misinterpret this wisdom to mean they should avoid consolidating their investment accounts and keep their money spread across multiple financial institutions, often working with several different financial advisors.
For centuries, a single line from Paul's letter to the Romans - “not all Israel is Israel” - has been used to rewrite the story of God's faithfulness. But was Paul really declaring that the Church replaced Israel? Or was he weeping over his people, trusting that God's promises still stand? This episode takes a deep look into Romans 9–11 and Galatians 6, unpacking what Paul meant by “the Israel of God” and how a single mistranslated conjunction has shaped two millennia of confusion. We'll explore the grief behind Paul's words, the endurance of God's covenants, and the modern drift that has led Christians to read prophecy as poetry and Israel's story as metaphor. As anti-Semitism rises and theology grows foggy, it's time to recover what the Apostle Paul never meant to erase: that Israel's unbelief doesn't cancel God's faithfulness - it magnifies it. Key Takeaways Paul's “anguish and unceasing sorrow” in Romans 9 reveals grief, not rejection. “Not all Israel is Israel” distinguishes the nation from its remnant, not Israel from the Church. God's covenants - Abrahamic, Mosaic, Davidic, and New - remain active and irrevocable. “The Israel of God” (Gal. 6:16) refers to Jewish believers, not the Church replacing Israel. Translation shifts like changing “and” to “even” have fueled replacement theology. The Church's inclusion in God's plan never meant Israel's exclusion. When we forget Israel, we lose the storyline of our own salvation. Send us a textToo many Americans do not fully understand the depths and true intent of the 2nd Amendment, but the people of New Orleans were acutely aware of it in the wake of Katrina, where the criminals and the cops joined forces to prey upon the citizens. Police officers did not merely assault and batter unarmed citizens and rape unarmed women, they also indiscriminately murdered many unarmed citizens, including shooting a mentally disabled man in the back as he fled from them in terror after they opened fire on a group of citizens seeking help, and one cop walked up to his wounded body and kicked/stomped the man's head until he was dead. Nellie Wartoft is the founder and CEO of Tiger Hall, a change enablement platform built for teams tired of stale workshops and change theater. In Part One, she takes us from her tiny hometown in Sweden to the boardrooms of Asia, where flipping burgers at McDonald's, carrying an ice hockey trunk to Singapore, and watching companies struggle with real transformation all shaped her mission. This is change management with edge—equal parts adventure, insight, and rebellion.Key Highlights of Our InterviewSweden, Cows, and a One-Way Ticket“On my 18th birthday, I booked a one-way flight to Singapore, packed my life into an ice hockey trunk, and left my small Swedish village—where the cows outnumbered the people. That was the real beginning of everything.”From Fries to Founder: Discovering Her Professional DNA“I call McDonald's my most transformative experience. That's where I learned what I now call my three professional addictions: high pace, commercial thrill, and leadership. Everything I've done since started there.”The Real Meaning of Resilience“Workshops don't build resilience. Hard times do. Either you win, or you build character. That's the trade-off. And the only way through it is through it.”Don't Build Your Identity on a Job Title“If your sense of self is built on a title, what happens when that's gone? I don't define myself by being a CEO. I define myself as someone who works hard, learns fast, and has good intentions. That can't be taken away.”Why She Launched Tiger Hall (Spoiler: It Involves SharePoint Rage)“Too many companies still think change means mass emails, intranet black holes, and jargon-filled PDFs. I wanted to build a platform that makes transformation actually work—for real humans, not just consultants.”_________________________Connect with us:Host: Vince Chan | Guest: Nellie Wartoft --Chief Change Officer--Change Ambitiously. TSPC will return tomorrow, I take this day off with my family like most of America and I leave you with these thoughts on this day. Today is Memorial Day and I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone today of what Memorial Day is really all about. Many well meaning people even get it wrong in a way. My inbox tends to fill up with “thanks for your service” emails around Memorial Day. I appreciate it, there is nothing wrong with thanking a vet today, yet it is not really the day to thank vets many seem to … Continue reading →

The twentieth saying of Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas is one that is familiar to Christians who have read the canonical gospels. It is known as the parable of the Mustard Seed. Thomas' version goes like this:The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us what the kingdom of Heaven is like." He said to them, "It's like a mustard seed, the smallest of all seeds, but when it falls on prepared soil, it produces a large plant and becomes a shelter for birds of heaven."At first hearing it may sound identical to the New Testament parable. But listen again. Here is the version found in the Gospel of Luke. Pay attention to the differences. Then Jesus asked, “What is the kingdom of God like? What shall I compare it to? It is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his garden. It grew and became a tree, and the birds perched in its branches.”They sound similar, but the small differences make a big difference. Let's look at the differences and what they teach us about the Kingdom of Heaven, which is Jesus' term for Divine Awareness.View Marshall's books here: https://www.amazon.com/stores/Marshall-Davis/author/B001K8Y0RU
Savage explores the significance of Passover, urging audiences to look beyond traditional customs to find contemporary relevance and personal meaning. He reflects on his childhood memories of the holiday and the necessity of rituals to foster personal growth and connection. He discusses his personal spiritual journey and what he learned living in remote islands such as Fiji. He recounts a conversation he had with a Jewish gangster about his path to redemption. He shares about being unexpectedly appointed as president of his Jewish community and receiving a heartfelt message from the Chief Rabbi of Israel. He weaves themes of liberation from modern "addictions," the importance of community in spiritual practices, and the transformative power of faith. He stresses that Passover serves as an opportunity for introspection and renewal, urging listeners to seek a deeper understanding of their faith.

Palm Sunday: parades, palms, and a donkey. Cute. But let's be honest—this day was never about waving branches. It's about asking one uncomfortable question: Who's actually calling the shots in your life? (Spoiler: it might not be who you think.)Brian dives into the gritty side of Holy Week—what people hoped Jesus would be, what he actually was, and why most of the crowd bailed on him a few days later. Hint: He didn't fit their agenda. You'll hear about cloaks, freedom, religious drama, and a woman who went from “God probably forgot me” to “I'm getting baptized right now.” It's raw. It's real. It might sting a little. So yeah, if you've ever tried to get Jesus to cosign your plans, this one's for you.Hit play. Let it mess with you—in the best way.
